Excellent experience. The lake was clean AND quiet (very little boat traffic). Nice flat backyard from cabin to the lake (especially for the older people in our group). The cabin was perfect for a family gathering. Great open, spacious kitchen/family room. The 2nd floor bunkroom (with QUEEN bunks!!!) and the open tv/game room next to it were awesome. We were amazed that the fun upstairs (ping pong, darts, movies) wasn’t heard downstairs and vice versa (which was great). We had 20 in our group and never felt cramped inside or outside. Highly recommend!

Nice house with great set-up for kids! Weed removal improved lake front/dock area but was done mid-week which was unfortunate as we lost the use of area for most of the day. Freezer space is very small could use a second unit in garage. Boat launch access is easy to use and middle of lake great for swimming. Overall a great stay!

We had a family group of 12, ranging from 33yrs to 77yrs. The home was very clean and well stocked with all that we needed. With 6 bedrooms and 3 of them with their own bathrooms, plus 2 additional baths, it was quite convenient.
I would definitely book again! Thank you. Leona Fox, Newport Beach, CA

This beautiful house fits our three families comfortably. The house was clean, and the property manager responded quickly to any questions we had. In fact, we have already booked the place for next year, so we highly recommend renting this lake house. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and have a lot of storage. The open kitchen/living room and sunroom made playing games, cooking or reading a book very enjoyable. We found the kitchen had most of what we needed to cook for our large group. Our kids enjoyed the bunk room (with full size beds) and large game room, too. They did wish the game room had more seating. We were able to dock our boat and the very clean lake was fun for all water sports. We also appreciated all the water toys and the air compressor. We enjoyed the gas firepit, grill and the outside seating area, too. Overall, we had a great week! When we return next year, we will make sure to bring more coolers since there is only one refrigerator and slip on shoes for walking on the rocks on around the firepit and the prickly weeds in the very large yard.

My sisters and there husbands all got together to spend a week at a lake this June. The house was beautiful. Property was nice too except there were a lot of weeds (thistles not fun). Also there were a lot of toys laying around in the yard that I am guessing were from prior guests. The two king size beds were a nice feature but my sisters said the slats fell off and made you roll to the middle. Apparently uncomfortable but mine bed was fine. :). Other than that I would say a great place to stay. We even discussed doing it again and bringing our kids and parents.

Spacious, clean, cozy, would love to move in!

Upon arrival we had a strong odor in far western bedroom and contacted property management team, that said to try a few things, which we did. The odor did linger for most of weekend in that bedroom and the septic alarm on tank would go off outside quite frequently throughout weekend, which was annoying because you physically had to go outside to silence it. Otherwise the cabin property was great and worked well for our annual ladies ice fishing trip. Beds were comfy and loved the jura coffeemaker!

We booked the home for a short retreat for our work team and really loved the outdoor space and common spaces. The kitchen also worked well for feeding a larger group of folks. The bunk bed room was nice so that we had plenty of beds, though it is probably better suited to kids sharing that room than adults. Overall we had a great time and really loved the location as close enough to Fargo to not be a long drive but far enough away that we really felt like we were at a retreat.

The property played its role exactly as it needed to. My friends and I were very pleased with the aesthetic of the home and all the details that went into making it a beautiful place to stay. The best part is, this property went beyond beauty to comfort and usability. Every single guest was overwhelmingly satisfied with the comfort of their bed. Additionally, the main living space was very useable and perfect for our large group to gather and hang out all together.

The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and sits on a lovely lot on Crystal Lake. We had plenty of room for our family reunion. Everyone enjoyed the fishing, darts, ping pong, kayaks, fire pit. I could go on and on! The beds are incredibly comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this house.

The cabin on this property is nice, it was spacious for our family of 17 - 9 adults and 8 kids 6 and under. Our family loved gathering in the large kitchen and dinning area. Our kids spent hours on the playground and enjoyed the sand area. The lake front was different than we expected from the photo provided. There is a sandy beach area, then 5 feet of rock before entering the water, then 100 yards of reeds. The water off the dock is about 3 to 4 feet and is very weedy and muddy. This cabin is great if you have a boat because the middle of the lake is clear and great for swimming. We appreciated using the lily pad that is provided. A few drawbacks for our family were the lakefront for young kids, the low water pressure and unresolved plumbing issues in the cabin, the bees outsides (made it impossible to dine on the deck), and the weeds in the yard and rock landscaping made it difficult to go barefoot ever, which little kids love to do at the lake.

The home was able to house 4 separate family with a total of 12 people. The ages ranged from 2-70. Nice big yard for yard games. Overall a great home for a vacation!

We rented this house for a family reunion with Minnesotans and Montanans. The ages ranged from 83 to 7. Everyone had the most amazing time. The property was perfect for our group. The feel of the house was light and airy. Calming color scheme and simple, yet elegant. There are 3 bedroom suites with full bathrooms within. 2 of these are on the main level. Then there are two more bedrooms on the main level with a bathroom to share. Upstairs is the 3rd suite with bath, and another full bath for those staying in the bunk room, which was perfect for kids of all ages. There are 4 sets of double bunks. Cozy and fun. Downstairs there is also a den off of the kitchen that works as another bedroom using a blow up mattress or even the couch. We ate most of our meals inhouse so the kitchen was perfect. I would say that another refrigerator would have been nice in the garage. We spent a lot of time outside around the gas firepit and the large dining table. We also brought two boats that we were able to tie up on the two docks. I would say that although the area around the docks is pretty weedy, it didn't stop the kids from swimming and kayaking around the area. The outdoor playground was perfect for the kids as well. All in all, a great spot for the family and we will definitely be back.

What a beautiful space to have the opportunity to share with my whole family. The house is so spacious and tastefully decorated. There were so many outdoor activities for the kids- swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle board, marshmallow roasting, There’s nothing negative I can say about this home. Worth every penny .

Our family of 20 people stayed in this beautiful lake home. The "bunk room" was perfect for all the cousins to sleep in, while the adults each got their own rooms. Everything was so beautiful, the only downside is that there was construction going on next door with a new house being built. So it was a little less relaxing outside with the sound of power tools+air compressors running.
The furniture was beautiful!
The property manager was super helpful! I highly recommend this beautiful home.

This house has a great layout for our family gathering, each couple had their own room, plus extra space for the younger members. The lake was an easy walk away letting everyone enjoy it, especially if you bring your boat along. Our group caught several fish on the lake, the biggest was actually a bass caught from the dock. The outdoor area was a nice surprise, only wish would be for less bugs at night - but that's near impossible for being this close to the lake.
And the kitchen - amazing! We did our best to clean up the drool from a few of our party as they hugged the gas range. But it was the heart of our good food and family time together.
We'd highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to bring together a group of friends or family. I'm hoping we'll have another chance to enjoy this property again.

The house is beautiful and comfortable with enough beds and bathrooms for 10, 50 something women. The new hostess had a few minor things that were addressed right away. We would definitely stay again.

Great place for a multi-generational gathering. 9 of us were confined indoors for 5 days because of extremely cold weather, and we did well in the large space and separate areas. The issues we had with the house were due to the low temperature and high wind. We couldn’t keep a comfortable temperature in the main living area. The property manager responded promptly.

Hidden gem property! We had a girls trip - 18 of us and we all had plenty of room. Nicole was amazing - super quick response anytime we had a question. Welcome basket was a surprise and very thoughtful! The home layout was very functional. Will definitely rent again!

This house has it all. A beautiful lakefront view with lots of water toys, plenty of space for a large group to spread out, a playground and toys for young kids, and handicap accessibility. The house was super comfortable with our group of 10 adults and 3 kids. The bunk room alone can house ALL the kids in your family. It’s also just a few minutes from the very cute town of Pelican Rapids. The property manager was also very welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend for a big family getaway.

4th of July
We had 3 families ages ranging 18-3yrs old. The house is gorgeous, spacious, well laid out. The back yard, play set, and dock kept all the kids busy. Catching fish right off the dock, and turf under play set was pleasant surprise.
One thing I would may recommend would be a “garage fridge” one fridge with multiple families was pretty tight, we were running to town for supply’s / ice daily, just because we didn’t have alot of room to store things.
Overall this property was amazing, and looks just like pictures.

Incredible House, Great Management
A dozen of us spent just under a week here. The house is really, really nice. Like, really nice. The management folks were fantastic - helpful, responsive, nice and just great to work with (thanks for everything Nicole!) Again, I can't say enough about the house, I am shocked my wife agreed to leave. There are tons of bathrooms, all the appliances are top end, the layout and design are gorgeous. We have rented numerous places throughout the country and this is hands down the nicest house we have ever stayed in.
The immediate area is still actively being developed. The roads are dirt/gravel and there is a decent amount of construction going on. Pelican Rapids is not your typical tourist town either and has a single pizza joint and one ice cream parlor that closes at 5. There are a handful of cute shops, but the entire town is an hour or two experience at most. The lake is smaller-to-medium sized but still definitely large enough for any water activities you would want to take part in.
All-in-all I would definitely recommend as long as you are aware that this is a luxury house in a not-exactly-luxury location. We enjoyed it, but might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Only negative would be that the owners scheduled dredging two days that we were there. This meant that the dock and water were essentially unusable for the better part of two days. Really disappointed that they didn't think to have that done some other time.

Great space
The house was and location were great. The property had lots to do including kayaking, grilling and space for yard game. The lake has good fishing right off the dock. There was plenty of space for the 15 of us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location.
