We had a wonderful time at the house. The accomodations were very good, great view and plenty to do at the resort for the wide range of ages in our group. The wifi worked great as a few of us had to work during the stay. There was plenty of room for the 3 toddlers to play inside and plenty of parking for our 4 cars.

Nicely updated property. Plenty of room for our group of 10. Loved there were two tables where we could eat. Property owner was responsive via text when I had an issue with heating.

The Mountain View Retreat was wonderful! My extended family of 10 stayed for Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen was great for cooking, and the wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, and fire pit were a hit. We enjoyed having an upstairs living space for adults and downstairs area for the teenagers. We also enjoyed the amenities at the resort including pickle ball, indoor pool, and walking trails.

As are all the appliances & seating in the dining room and kitchen area. Bathrooms are also nice, but only 3, which makes the other bedroom on the 2nd floor have to use the master bathroom. Not a problem for us this time because the little one using that bedroom was still in diapers-but could pose a problem if a teen or adult was in that room. The living room is a decent size, but the seating isn’t adequate for more than 5 people. A new smaller couch & love seat would probably fit better. Deck is in disrepair and cluttered with pots of dead plants and/or weeds. We would not stay there again, but we still had a good time.

The mountain view home has been updated and is very nice. It shares the fun amenities of Rumbling Bald. However, The house advertises “sleeps 12,” but it can’t really hold 12 in the living room, kitchen, or even the deck. It is very tight. One upstairs bedroom either has to go through another bedroom to use it’s en suite bath or else they have to come downstairs to use the hall bathroom that two other bedrooms already share.

The home was beautiful and spacious! This house is equipped with everything you need to make you feel you're really on vacation. Our stay was cut a little short due to a power outage (storm) but Rebecca was very accommodative. Thank you for a great stay and we will be back!

I rented this house for a long weekend with my family and two other families. It was a great layout and allowed everyone to have their own space. Rebecca was very responsive; we had a repair that needed to be taken care of and it was completed within a couple of hours. The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the indoor pool and spa at the resort, and enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Would definitely rent again.

We had a great visit to this home and we felt very taken care of. The home had been supplied with everything we needed and we really enjoyed family ping pong tournaments in the lower level and relaxing in the hot tub. Would happily stay here again!

There was so much to do at Rumbling Bald resort that we didn't get to it all in a week. Fishing from the dock at the private lake, getting ice cream while hanging out at the swimming beach, and enjoying the stars from the deck were highlights. We made time each day to enjoy the fall colors while sitting around the fire and watching the kids hunt for rocks and lizards. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Rebecca was great about communicating with us throughout our visit, and made sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend!

Nice home in the mountains. Good nearby amenities. Would have liked the porches blown off upon arrival as there were lots of leaves making the space less enjoyable. Be ready to cook as your a good 15+ away from nearby restaurants especially when the Rumbling Bald resort is closed on Mondays. Overall, we had a good time.

My family enjoyed staying at this lovely home over Labor Day weekend. Rebecca was extremely helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The amenities of the Rumbling Bald resort were great entertainment.

The house was amazing. Exactly as described. The house is large and spacious. The bunk beds were a hit. The hot tub overlooks the mountain and was a relaxing touch. Our family truly enjoyed your home. The home is nestled on top of Rumbling Bald. We enjoyed hiking, golfing, swimming and putt putt. Fantastic home and location.
