Thankful that Hotel Mead found us a room, and the staff bent over backwards to help us.

Management went out of their way to get us a room when BOOKING,COM left us with no reservations. The General Manager honored the price only because I had your Confirmation on my phone. They had nothing from you! A difference of $200.

BOOKING.COM! I sat in the lobby , on the phone with BOOKING.COM for 45 minutes getting the runaround from THREE different BOOKING,COM employees that couldn't figure out what to do for us after FAILING to do their job of sending our reservations to Hotel MEAD!

Very happy with my stay.

Didn't have breakfast, very comfortable room, nice and quiet.

Coffee was mediocre at best. Needed more options for creamer and sweetener.

It's fine for a night, but not great

It was nice to have a restaurant on site. Food was good for the price.

Cobwebs in the room. Front desk was not inviting upon first impression.

Our family would not stay at this property again. Do not recommend.

The location was the only positive feature of the Hotel Mead.

Rooms were outdated and damaged. AC was loud, linens were clean but flimsy. Walls were thin and you could hear doors closing through the night. Room was also poorly lit, we were attending a wedding and couldn’t get ready conveniently. Room price was more than newer hotels and the quality was similar to a roadside quick stop motel. Pool area was in disrepair…this hotel needs a complete remodel.

I would never stay or recommend this hotel. I don't understand how you got high ratings!!!

the only thing good about the hotel is that it was close to our new home

Didn't like the bedding. felt like and sounded like we were sleeping on plastic. the staff was not helpful. we came in thru the back entrance, there was nothing to tell us where to find reception, were trying to locate the front desk, which is in an awkward place, we finally found a directory, which is near the front entrance, were looking at the directory to find where to check in and just happened to stumble onto it, low and behold there was an employee standing there behind the desk listening to us, he could've made it known where we were. The water temp in the shower was difficult to maintain. the patchwork carpeting was hilarious. When checking out, I had to go behind the counter to find an employee, they were sitting in a back office. There is no bell to draw attention to anyone at the desk. The place looks like it used to be an old hospital!!!!!

location

rooms are really getting run down! I stay here every other weekend. once toilet flooded bathroom at 7 I’m the morning, showers loud, weird smell in room last time, furniture is falling apart. spend some money and update accommodations!

The property was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

they need a few minor updates like the furnace. every time it kicked on it made an extremely loud banging noise which woke us up both nights. also the bottom of the tub was not flat and it was easy to slip. the shower head was also broken. with that said. we still had a nice stay and would go back.

it was adequate

it was economical. Veda we’re good.

just seemed kind of beat. maybe needs some updating. pool was basically inaccessible. steps down on one entrance. the other entrance with the elevator also had step in ways to the hot tub. the entrance we parked by had stuff spilled right outside the door that was there during our stay.

the staff in the bar was inattentive. we were going to have a drink there before going to dinner. we sat for 20 minutes, and the waitress still had not taken out order. We left without ordering and went straight to dinner.

It was a good experience overall with a clean and comfortable room with nice staff!

That there was a large pool and hot tub. The room layout was nice with a living room and bed separate with 2 tvs. That their was a microwave, hair dryer, and refrigerator.

The ceiling in the pool area was peeling paint really bad, the pool was overdue for a remodel and had crumbling walls and stained tiles, the sauna was not operational, the bathrooms at the pool were outdated and had a rust odor. The pool was closing a day early for repairs after website said it would be closed the following day. The staff was very polite about it and still let my daughter and i swim until 1pm. The west tower main entrance always smelled like cigarette smoke idk if it was from employees sitting outside the door smoking on break or guests blowing smoke when they entered the double doors.

Even though our room was dated, it was very clean and well taken care of.

This is a beautiful hotel, especially for special occasions such as a wedding. Our room was very clean an comfortable.

Our room was in the older section of the hotel, which was definitely dated.

The rooms were decent sized and beds comfortable

The pool had absolutely NO HEAT! It was like swimming outside. The hotel is somewhat outdated and it's pretty obvious there is minimal upkeep done to it
