We stayed at The Bubbly during a wedding weekend. It was perfect for two couples to share with two private bedrooms with en suite and a lovely shared common space and well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, it was a drizzly awakens so we did not get to enjoy the fire pit area that is nestled next to a babbling brook however we did take advantage of the swinging beds on the screened back porch! We enjoyed a nice fire while watching football. Everything was perfection!

We had a great week in highlands and loved staying at Bubbly where we could enjoy all the town hiking trails and restaurants. Comfortable, cute and convenient. Will definitely visit again!

We were in Highlands for our daughter’s wedding. From top to bottom inside and out the cottage was perfect. The space was larger than I expected and the beautiful back porch deck and garden by the stream was a perfect way to start our day. I was able to walk to town and our family really felt welcomed in your home. . We can’t wait to return and we so appreciated your hospitality.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. The host is a great commincator and you do not have to worry about being left hanging. A seamless check in process. The house is adorable, comfortable, clean, quiet and very nicely decorated. There are screened windows and fans in every room. There are window A/C units in both bedrooms and we did crank them up briefly at midday as it does sometimes get warmish even in Highlands. The kitchen is well equipped including a bottle of wine in the fridge waiting for you. I barely moved from the swings on the porch! As they say, location, location and this is the best one we've stayed at in many Highland vacations. We parked the car almost 100% and walked everywhere. The Adirondack chairs next to the bubbling brook will truly lead to a zen experience. We have already booked next summer and fall so better hurry!

Loved this house so much and was perfect for what we needed for our Highlands weekend! The host was super easy to get in touch with and we had no issues at all on our end. She shared all details leading up to the trip and was quick to reply when small questions were asked. Highly recommend this property! Looks just like the pics and was an amazing house to vacation in.

Two couples enjoyed our stay in this cute little cabin like home. Highlands weather in June is unbeatable! We slept comfortably with the windows open and enjoyed the sound of the creek and nature. The home had everything we needed and would stay again.

The Babbling Cottage is exactly as advertised! The cabin is spacious and filled with design details that rival your own home. Gabbi was very easy to contact when we had a quick question. We spent each morning and afternoon enjoying the solitude the babbling brook provided. And each evening we enjoyed the fire pit and long conversations. The cottage is easy walking distance to everything you'll want to do downtown and right across the street from the Performing Arts Center, so check their schedule. We took two waterfall hikes while there and again, easy distances. This is a great choice for two couples, or in our case a party of 3.

Stop looking anywhere else, this place has it all! The home was a short walking distance to downtown main street, which is ideal in the Highlands. It's perfect for a weekend getaway or a long stay. The home was beautifully decorated and furnished, with a backyard of your dreams! The creek and fire pit was a special treat during our stay. The welcome and thank you gifts from the host was such a kind gesture - Gabby makes you feel at home! We're already planning our stay again next year. We'll be back to the Bubbly House!!

We stayed here with another couple for 3 nights. The house is simply perfect - it's walkable to downtown and to a hiking trail yet still quiet, it's nestled near a picturesque bubbling creek, it's beautifully decorated and has everything you need.

We loved this property! It is located only a couple of blocks from Main Street but has a very neighborhood feel and includes a private back yard with a fire pit next to Mill Creek. A very relaxing place to sit and enjoy the outdoors! The cottage has been fully updated and was very comfortable. The owner, Gabi, was very helpful and did a great job with communication.

Two couples visited for our annual trip together. The house was beautiful, had everything we needed, and was clean and well organized. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and listening to the nearby creek. Enjoyed walking to restaurants and around downtown without needing our car. Also enjoyed driving to nearby waterfalls and hiking.

This place was immaculate! The location was amazing (we walked to town!) and the design was beautiful. We were on a couples trip for a birthday weekend, and it was wonderful for that! The rooms were great and the living room was so comfortable. We loved the comfy couches and the breakfast nook for playing card games. I want to go back with the kids bc it would be a great place for a trip with our little ones! It was such a great spot and I know our kids would enjoy the creek in the backyard. The details that the host added were so thoughtful! We would totally stay here again.

My 3 girlfriends and I enjoyed a wonderful late winter / early spring weekend at this home. It is truly as pictured - lovely - and incredibly well apportioned and thoughtfully detailed. The location is perfect - close to everything and yet feels like it’s in the middle of the woods. The beds were heavenly. We are already planning our return trip!

The house was absolutely stunning- perfectly decorated, fully equipped. It’s on a creek, which provides lovely sounds. The fire pit and outdoor area were wonderful, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the fire, listening to the creek. A very easy walk into town and to hiking spots, but also a very short drive to other hikes (Whiteside Mtn). We had a great time, and we’d absolutely stay again! Highly recommend Bubbly Cottage.

I had a friend visiting me in Atlanta from Canada and we wanted to get away for the weekend. After booking spa appointments at the Old Edwards Inn, I looked for a cabin we could rent that wouldn’t require a 20-minute drive back and forth. This cabin is perfectly located just off of 4th Street. The pictures are an exact representation of the cabin - absolutely stunning. It was well appointed with everything we needed, down to dry wood to burn in the fireplace on a cold rainy night. Would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to be close to town while exploring Highlands. Gabi was super responsive and accommodating. A+ for this rental.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bubbly Cottage! You couldn’t ask for better location within walking distance of shopping and restaurants! The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed from firewood to kitchen supplies to cook a special Christmas Eve dinner! We will definitely be back!

Perfect location in the cutest little mountain bungalow next to the creek. It had everything we needed, was well stocked, and easily walkable to everything on the main strip in town. Had a great time and would definitely go back!

We loved this place! Owners made check in super easy. Very close and walkable to downtown Highlands. Loved the updated decor! It is a 2 bedroom/2 bath cottage and was perfect for us. We were 2 couples so the set up was perfect for us. Thank you so much. Beautiful place!

The home has beautiful, comfortable furnishings. We really love the location an easy three block walk to town. We enjoyed the walk. We also appreciated parking off street right by the front door. Art stayed with Shortt, so our only disappointment was, we spent very little time in the cottage. As we were shopping and dining.

We had a lovely stay at this updated, clean and cozy home in Highlands. It was perfect for our annual fall break visit. The home is well appointed and we especially enjoyed the porch swings. You cannot beat the close location to walk to town but also several good hikes. We hope to stay again soon!

Everything we could ever want we found in this charming mountain cottage. Highlands is lovely and the proximity of the cottage was great. We had a few family members in for watching football, we brought snacks and enjoyed the Georgia/Auburn game in our lovely living room. Drinks at the banquet, fresh air on the screened porch! Perfection

The house was clean and provided all the amenities we needed for our stay. We enjoyed being within walking distance of all of our favorite places in Highland including Blue Bike Cafe and Calders Coffee. Everything about the house was amazing! We enjoyed making fires in the fire pit each night!

The house is nice and perfectly located for a walk to all restaurants and shopping in Highlands. But what makes this a great property is the owner, Gabi. She is a great hostess, and has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. She is also super responsive if you have questions or issues. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back. Bubbly feels like home.

Great stay at this cottage in highlands, excellent location, you could walk to the main drag, very well layed out house and the decor was amazing. My favorite part was the screened in porch, laying on the outdoor beds and listening to the river was priceless. Secondly the mattress in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable im a mastress snob so thats really saying alot, felt like a high quality memory foam.
