Peaceful, clean, and spacious home in a country setting filled with modern amenities and everything you could possibly need! The inspirational reading choices were an added bonus.
There is a nice handle in the guest shower/tub that is helpful for those needing a little bit of extra stability.
Early mornings were relaxing on the elevated, screened in porch. We saw a small bear and several deer in the distance.
The home is all on one level with no stairs to be concerned about.

We really enjoyed the stay at the house. The appliances and refrigerator were really nice. We took advantage of the pond in the back, caught and released 2 small bass. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The driveway is not a problem as some in the mountains can be an issue. There was a nice welcome tray with waters, coffee pods popcorn, a nice touch. The a/c system worked very well keeping us cool in the heat of the day. We never turned on the televisions which is a good indication that we kept busy. Must do in the area: Lake Jacosse - the most beautiful lake I have ever witnessed, we went with Matt from Joccassee Quest - just awesome. Went to Pretty place - a must see. We just relaxed which is just what we needed. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

The Home on the Pond was a great little getaway for our family. The kids enjoyed fishing down at the pond. My favorite place was sitting on the screened in back porch listening to the birds and wind chimes.

It was so lovely. We haven't stayed in a property that provided everything we need to cook and relax in years. Beautifully decorated.

The property was fantastic! It was clean, the layout was perfect for my elderly parents, and the beds were super comfortable (most important part after a long bike race). The view of the lake was great. This place felt very much felt like home away from home. My dad wanted to live there 😂

We found the home spacious, well thought out design with a touch tech, and comfortable furnishings that are easy on the eye and soul. The property is a potpourri of various foliages but, our biggest surprise was the number or species of trees. My wife got a picture of a special guest on arrival, a young black-bear. Not too close but still very exciting for her.

I have out of town family that comes once every 5 years. This was the PERFECT spot for us to reconnect. Several had rooms at other locations, but stopped to visit amd were super impressed! The place is SECLUDED. Literally on a dead end at the very end of a nice neighborhood. No signal, make sure your GPS is loaded before you leave! But the property is absolutely worth it and ince yiu arrive the WIFI is great. Within a half hour drive of 3 lakes that are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. Definitely book the House on The Pond!

Our family all traveled for my nephew’s wedding in the area. The location was great for us, and we loved the beautiful house and all its amenities. We enjoyed the tasteful interior, comfortable bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining rooms, and the wonderful screened porch and large deck. My husband had fun fishing in the pond, and my son and daughter enjoyed paddling around in the canoe. The location is very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay. The home was easy to access with all paved roads. Our main goal on this vacay was to do some hiking at Table Rock park which is a short drive away. It's conveniently located to many other parks as well as Travelers Rest and Greenville. When the weather didn't cooperate with us, we were perfectly happy relaxing in the comfortable home and on the back deck watching the lightning bugs. We will definitely visit again.

Enjoyed our stay immensely. Nicely equipped with all that is needed in a home away from home. Highly recommend!

We happened upon this home when we needed it most.
We had a water main break in the walls of our home and insurance deemed we could not stay home during demo and reconstruction.
This little home was exactly what we needed. It was amazingly clean and smells new. The little lake in the back was the lost calming amenity of the property. We live on a farm with a newer home and we felt like we didn’t have to “downgrade” at all staying here! It has truly been a God send being tucked away out here safe
Owners literally have everything covered. Super easy to communicate with and extremely helpful for anything we needed.

Mountain get away
Our family had an amazing time in the adorable mountain home. I have so many amazing things to say about this trip! Let’s start with the house itself! It is so clean! Spotless!! I’m picky and this home exceeded my expectations! The decor is adorable, the beds are comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed! All appliances were so nice and clean. Plenty of towels! We caught some small fish in the lake just steps away from the back door. We saw wildlife and even spotted a black bear that walked right in front of our truck as we were leaving the street! Definitely made some great memories for our children!
The house Is located close to a lot of great hikes! We explored many waterfalls, pretty place, and the silos of Easly. The town of Pickens is super cute with a few little stores. My kids loved the ice cream from Aunt Sues which is a 2 minute drive from the house. The location of this house is perfect, remote and quiet yet in the center of it all!
I would highly recommend this house and we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, relaxing and Peaceful Getaway
Perfect spot to unwind and relax, and still close enough to pop into downtown Greenville for the day or night. My sons (4 and 7) enjoyed fishing in the pond, playing basketball and cornhole, and getting to see fireflies all over the place at night was an amazing surprise for them. The house is very clean and charming, and the host is quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future!
