Disappointing stay

Close to beach

Several issues we had 1. Apartments where advertised as double bedrooms but one one of the bedroom is double bedroom other one is single bedroom. 2. Was not given the right access code to access the room. 3. When we reached on the first day one of the flat was not cleaned, garbage bin in the kitchen was full and stinking, bedrooms not done and the dirty sheets piled up. 4. And after several back and forth conversation in chat got it cleaned, We had frustrating few hours after travelling for 4 hours on car not even able to relax in the room.

A comfortable night but otherwise impersonal and frustrating,

We found it difficult to obtain the doorentry code and then gain admission. We discovered to our cost that the WiFi was not functioning so we could not watch television, Parking was only available in multi-storey car parks where the system for obtaing a ticket was complicated. No-ne was willing to come to the property to help us in person. We decoded to spend the second night elsewhere. We explained this by e-mail and hoped for a refund or part refund as compensation

Nice but felt unsafe.

Property was very clean and spacious. Comfortable beds and located close to all amenities. Host was very helpful.

Main door didn’t close at all had to barricade the apartment door with chairs as didn’t feel secure. Noise from party goers outside the apartment until 5pm. How to access the property wasn’t explained well either took a good 10 minutes and various messages with host.

Clean, tidy and practical

Very well priced for a two bedroom property. Good helpful communication when booking .

The NCP parking - whilst it was nice to know the car was secure the car park was locked from 9pm until 6pm which was very impractical.

Great location and value for money

Lovely apartment in a great location and very clean with super comfy beds. We parked just around the corner in NCP carpark. The prom is around the corner and opposite are plenty of places to eat so great value for money for 3 of us for 1 night on a long journey and just needed a stop off to sleep and freshen up.

The WiFi didn't work but we hadnt been told they were waiting to get it fixed so no TV whatch was boring as we were tired and didn't go out. No feather pillows as advertised and as mine was in the carpark which is locked 9pm I had to do without it. Only 2 cups and 3 guests so we had to wait for a morning coffee. No shampoo or conditioner and only 1 shower gel between 3 girls which was inconvenient as we'd left ours in our cars and just brought in an overnight bag.

Clean ,tidy but disappointing due to nonT.V or Internet and most importantly no escape in the event

The fire escape door is locked so unsafe especially with children and being on top floor. The Internet connection was non existent and the T.V is not set up to receive broadcasting channels via freeview or anything else which was disappointing as I had my grandsons with me.

Basic but comfortable property in a Perfect location

Easy self access and good space inside property

Parking was an issue as expected WiFi wasn't working which caused an issue for the children!

Pleasant

The apartment was lovely. Shame about the noise from other tenants and out side.

Didn't find the owners very helpful. Couldn't use the TV or WiFi. Rang owners not much help.

Lovely little apartment suitable for 2 adults.

Very nice apartment. Clean and tidy.

The stairs to 2nd floor were to much for be and no lift. Also I booked for 3 adults. The fold out bed was more suitable for a child.

Great location but apartment could use a little TLC.

Location- everything was within walking distance and close to the seafront. Access to the building was straight forward. Carpark was only a five minute walk away. Shower was a good temperature, always had hot water. Beds were clean and comfortable. Fans provided in all the rooms. Digital locks were convenient has you didn't have to worry about carrying keys around. WiFi was free.

The cleanliness was not the best- food found under the TV stand, remote control found down the back of the sofa, food stains on the kitchen area floor, dirty glasses and cutlery, top of the bathroom cabinet and bathroom extractor fan thick with dust, skirting boards thick with dust and stained. Fridge/Freezer was in need of a clean. There was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke that seemed to be coming from the bathroom- not sure if this was coming from another apartment? No bottle opener, so had to go and buy one... No large mirrors in the apartment, the only mirror was on the small bathroom cabinet, so had to use a compact mirror to style hair and apply makeup.

The internet and tv didnt work which was a bad thing for my autistic son as thats how he calms down and settles for bed, the floors were dirty i had to clean them on arrival as my autistic son would of eaten whatever was on the floor,also the kitchen was not the cleanest and had to be cleaned before use

Acceptable

No breakfast included. Property is just behind Weston sea front in the town centre

Location can be noisy as it faces onto a side street in the main town. Parking can be an issue ( free but 2 hour limit ), but we were lucky. Main street door is on a touch sensitive pad which operates the latch. The retaining bracket on the latch was loose, so the door did not lock effectively.

Good value apartment

Clean tidy apartment, close to all amenities, everything you need, value for money.

Curtains let morning light in. Being in centre of town was good location but it was very disruptive at night and noisy, especially on Saturday night.

Great guest house

Great guest house. Close to all the local amenities. Room was spotless and had everything you need for a stay. The off road parking was an added bonus. Great choice for breakfast, with both cooked and cold options.

Good location but filthy and run down

Location

The property was filthy, there hairs all over the bed covers, 2 dining chairs were broken and could not be sat on, the toilet seat was hanging off and all around the seat was really dirty. Felt very run down and had clearly not been cleaned properly before we arrived.

Tidy, everything worked properly just a few things to add / alter and would be near perfect

It was neat, tidy and simple. Great location and easy to get in to!

The main front door to apartment building did not shut properly and anyone could get in just by pushing the door. There was no bin (for sanitary waste etc) in the bathroom. There was a slight smell of cigarettes upon arrival… air freshener would have been great.

Clean flat in a great location, keyless doors could be more efficient.

The property was very clean and inviting. Great location, walking distance to both the beach and town. We were expecting a one bed flat but hadn’t been put in a two bed flat, giving all guests more space!

The property is keyless and you need codes to open the doors. We got into the building easily but we’re given the wrong code for our flat and it took over 15 minutes to get in. When we tried to contact the staff of the building they were difficult to reach by phone and were then not very helpful. We were only able to get into our flat when we tried a slightly different version of the code we’d been given and that luckily worked. The front door also didn’t close properly, when we left to go out the door didn’t shut securely, and returning home in the evening we found the main door was open ajar.

Nightmare

Location was convenient, short distance to the beach, pier and town centre.

Someone attempted entering the apartment around midnight, when we sleeped. They have used code to electronic door lock and actually unlocked it, but were unable to get inside because I have providently blocked the door with a chair. Incident reported to the police. The owner probably not have had anything to do with it, but the question is about how safe are electronic door locks used there and who have access to the entry codes. The apartment have rather basic equipment - kitchen and bathroom are OK, but bedrooms have nothing apart from beds and hangers. After the apartment was already booked - the owner requested sending a scan of photo ID (very unsafe) making providing door codes dependent on it. Also sent list of additional requirements that were not listed in booking.com offer - I treat it as very unfair practice - no refund if you disagree with that requests and cancel the booking.

Great location, nicely decorated, fast replies from staff

Plates/mugs etc were dirty, inside the fridge was dirty, internet didn't work the whole time we were there so we couldn't watch the TV as it was netflix etc only. No lift so have to carry all your luggage, pram etc up lots of stairs
