Perched on top of a rolling hill amongst the gorgeous Wasatch Mountains, this beautiful home is the perfect place in Utah for a getaway. Overlooking Bear Lake, the view is unbeatable! Spend your summers jet skiing and water skiing on the lake, getting world-famous raspberry milkshakes at Le Beau's, horseback riding, playing nine holes at the golf course next door, and hiking through the spectacular national forest. In the winter, Beaver Mountain is a short drive away for the best ski slopes in northern Utah. Hodge's Canyon ATV/SxS trail is just down the road, so bring or rent a fun toy to take on the trailhead.
Inside the home, you'll find a bright interior with lots of natural light thanks to the 180-degree window views of the lake. A fun game room in the basement equipped with a pool table, a 75-inch TV, and air hockey will ensure memories will be made that will last a lifetime. Curl up by the grand stone fireplace with a good book or for a movie night on the large TV. The open floor concept promotes togetherness and no conversation will be missed, whether you're in the living area, dining area, or the kitchen. Cook grand meals or beach picnic snacks in the spacious kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances and a floating island breakfast bar. Afterward, settle down in the hot tub and simmer for a while with your friends and partake in a couple of thirst-quenching drinks.

We absolutely loved the location, amount of bedrooms, and the incredible view. The hot tub, pool table, fuse ball table, and air hockey table were a big hit. Loved our stay!

party of 9, plenty of room and beds. large hottub was a bonus. had several little problems but were handled quickly by local group. only big problem was that the beds were not very comfortable, too hard, and that was in several of the rooms, that's the only reason that we would not stay here again. overall we enjoyed the house and the vusit

Hello,
Overall this is a great place to stay and it delivered on everything we needed. There were a few concerns that we had but after speaking with customer service and the owner we are put at ease and the vacation was great.

We've stayed here three years in a row and plan to continue indefinitely. The house is comfortable, stocked, and spacious enough for our party of 12 to want to come back again every summer.

We loved our stay in your home. Especially the large 8 person hot tub on freezing mornings. Well stocked with all the necessities for 16 people.

The home was clean and well stocked. Close to town but still secluded.

Clean house, great views, kitchen well-furnished. Good wi-fi. Good games. Good location. Inadequate seating for group meals. Bring your own spices, including salt. Plenty of parking. Beds NOT as advertised. No bunkbed in bedroom 3. One queen actually a double in bedroom 6. Downstairs bedrooms uncomfortably warm during the night. Needs fans to circulate air. Even so, we managed and had a good time.

We love the place. We will be back during the summer to rent it again.

The place itself we liked it was nice and would possibly stay again. The reason for 3 stars. Cleanliness is everything! 2 out of 3 bathrooms had alot of hair left on the shower walls. Ew. Hair on one bed comforter. This tells me it was not fully cleaned otherwise no hair, right? The cleaning fee is etrociously high so it should be spic and span! The wifi was terrible, this is 2022 folks. The kitchen was in need of a few items, tinfoil, ziplocks etc.. If advertising gaming tables they should be working properly.
I understand there are time frames of check in and out but this is a bit frustrating. When you can't even enter until 4 pm but you're in the area and would like to unload food or other things, its a try to kill time game until then. Having to be out by 10 am barely gives time to get up, shower, eat some breakfast and pack up. There's no enjoying the morning which is sad being that these places cost an arm and leg to stay with losing a whole day on check in and out days!
That all being said this cabin is nice and decorated well. I would consider staying again because we liked the cabin and location but it's so expensive.

All in all this was a really great property but there were a few problems. Before our arrival I sent a message via VRBO’s messaging system to ask about possible early check-in. No response. After several days I found a phone number for Vacasa who manages the property. I called to ask them the same question and was told that if early check-in was available that I would receive an email 48 hours before our check-in. So at least then I had some info.
When we arrived at the property there was no trash can in the kitchen and one of the bathrooms was also missing a trash can. I sent a message via VRBO, but again, no response. I was getting texts from Vacasa about the check-in process and checking about the cleanliness of the property. I replied to one of the texts asking about the trash cans and got no response. I replied to a different text from Vacasa and was told that I needed to verify by sending them my reservation number, check-in and check-out dates and my name. I thought that was weird since they texted me first. Don’t they already have all that info? And since it would have been inconvenient to look up my reservation number I ended up calling a number I found for Vacasa.
When I called Vacasa they said they would send a message to the property owner and that they would send someone to supply the needed trash cans either that night or the next day. They never came. And no one ever checked back with us to see if the issue had been resolved.
This was a family trip with my husband and eight children. During the time when I would have liked to be helping them unload the van and unpack I was working on figuring out how to get trash cans. And in the end, the trash cans never did show up. We ended up dangling a trash bag from the cabinet handle in the kitchen and any trash from the bathroom was carried to the kitchen to be thrown away.
Because of the history of unresponsiveness I didn’t bother trying to get a new lightbulb when the light in the master closet burned out. I also didn’t bother letting them know that some of the decking nails were coming up on the back deck and had almost injured my husband.
I understand that Vacasa is a separate company from VRBO with their own methods of communication, but if they are listing properties through VRBO then they should be responsive to messages sent via the VRBO system. They should also be responsive to messages sent via their own system. Super weird experience at a really nice cabin.
