Perfect for a one night stay while visiting SFA. Staff was friendly and helpful. This a clean, safe, no frills hotel, but has everything you need to make you and your family comfortable. This location was previously a different brand of hotel that was a acquired and remodeled by Motel 6, so although the exterior appears older, the inside has been remodeled. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely stay there again when visiting our daughter at SFA. Thank you for a great place to stay at an affordable price.

Room was not ready at check in time. Had reservation for two rooms thru Hotels.com but only showed one room. After an hour we asked to get room key to return layter. Many others trying to check in with reservation were told no reservation. No smoke detector and air conditioner leaked

Prior to booking here we booked at the another motel 6 in the same town , it was disgusting. Could not stay there and the motel 6 SFA university was accommodating and very clean

General overall age of property had dated feel. Ongoing road construction is a hassle for access. Staff was excellent. Room was quiet.

Did not honor my reservation. Claimed natural disaster. Gave me a room that was not cleaned. Had no other rooms. Provided no eta to have issue resolved. Asked for my money back said they were unable to refund me as I had to request through Expedia. Expedia will not respond back out the lodging fee and had to pay for another hotel. Was yea eking it was 11:30pm and had to drive til after 1am to the next state over to find lodging. They claimed Expedia should have never sold me a room as there were none available. I suspect the incompetent staff mismanaged the booking and gave me reservation away to the PUD customers or they just didn’t get the room cleaned in time to rent. Very inconvenient and disappointing especially when traveling with kids very long night. Guess to be expected for a motel 6.

We just needed a room overnight while we were passing through. He staff was very kind and our room was very acceptable. We had one tiny bug in the shower, but Nacogdoches is in the woods, so we weren’t surprised. We didn’t see anything else :) The room smelled clean and the AC cooled the room incredibly quickly! Which is super important to me lol. Catherine at the front desk was so sweet and helpful, especially since we rolled in at 11:30pm! It’s an old building, so our room had some water damage on the ceiling, but it didnt impact our stay at all.

Everything was good from check-in to check out. But while in the room we looked out the window and the window had a bullet hole curtain didnt have a hole so i assumed they knew about it but hadn't changed the glass. Other than that it was a good 2 night stay with no noise and clean rooms

Overall the value for what you get compared to other hotels in the area is excellent. I like how the doors are on the inside for the rooms because ours did not latch completely without being forced. I do feel there is wasted space to where some rooms could fit a couch or some extra chairs for sesting.

This being one of 2 Motel 6's, this was closer to the College.. My cousin and I checked in, which took awhile. since they "lost" my reservation. The room didnt have a hair dryer.. We never got the extra pillows / blankets we asked for. They said they were out. The ladies at the front desk both times. were rude, and just seemed like they didnt care at all. I expected a little more from Motel 6, but then again. Its a low cost place I guess. The thing that really pissed me off, was the Fridge didnt work. 2 things I had in there spoiled. My cousin said the bed wasnt comfortable, she could feel the springs. I didnt have an issue with that. The pillows are reallly soft!!!! There needs to be more signs to the front desk, because of the layout of the motel, I got turned around a few times. We have decided that we will never stay there again, when we go to visit her daughter..

The night lady working when I got there was super friendly and helpful I was late due to weather and travel conditions she had everything ready for me even suggestions of places to eat ect since it was 1 am when I did arrive. I believe her name was Angie and she is Super

Good Cheap motel, I usually stay at Hilton Hotels, which was across street, however at $ 189 a night, nope. This motel was cleaner and much more quieter than the Hilton across street and under $60.00

Room was very clean but we had 2 visitors (roaches) one that night and one that morning, and the refrigerator leaked water in the floor,the room couldnt have been any cleaner and shower was immaculate, staff was nice but definitely need terminex

The young lady at check-in was very nice, but she didn’t know the condition of the rooms so she had to move us 3 times until she found a room that was sufficient. Once we got settled it was ok, but not going back. Will definitely stay in Lufkin next time.
