It's a Motel 6 so, we weren't expecting anything fancy. Room was clean enough, and had what we required for this visit. We were a little concerned in advance about the proximity to a truck stop and the external facing room doors, but nothing at this location made us feel unsafe while actually visiting. Parking was pretty full on this particular weekend with big events in town, but we didn't have any trouble with neighbor noise or hear any rowdy guests. Room was clean, but initial smell when we came in the room was noticeably musty. Cranked up the AC, and air quality was more acceptable when we returned in the evening. Our room had a King bed which was soft and comfortable, but only had 3 small pillows which were a bit too thin. Would pack our own next time. A nice bonus is the decent breakfast spot next door at Kinfolks. We would be open to staying here again, and felt it was a far better value and even better quality than some of the more expensive options in Nacogdoches that we have stayed at on previous visits (including the other Motel 6 / Studio 6 in town), and we found it more convenient to the SFA campus than the cluster of hotels on the south end of town.

Room was clean except the carpet felt grimy. The bed was comfortable. No coffee pot and no breakfast. The front door looked like it had been kicked in at the bottom and there was a large space opening where 1/2” of light shined in. The motel ice machine did not work either.

Had trouble with the door lock on first room assigned went back to front desk and clerk reassigned me another room and went with to check it out. Was a nice room plenty hot water and comfortable bed.

The hotel is very clean and very quiet. I stayed the whole weekend because some construction work was being done at my home. I only had a small problem on the night I checked in. The motel was full and the door lock / key card reader was broken. The manager said that a maintenance worker would repair it the next day. He was unable to repair it but I was given a different room without any fuss. The rest of my stay was very enjoyable. There are two restaurants within walking distance and a gas station / convenience store.

First of all we booked our room prior to stay. When we got there they had given our room to someone else and had no other king bed rooms to give us. Second the toilet in our room was loose.

Both rooms were pretty gross, red chair huge stain, sand all over the floor in one, a needle cap in the other. No towels available in front. And you're staff came in our rooms while we went to the store after we asked in the front that they wait until we checked out and your desk manager agreed to tell the housekeepers, and put things in drawers mixed up clothes, threw away coffee we had just gotten at the store. Very poor service .

Definitely no frills, but comfortable enough and convenient to Nacogdoches. Wish the wifi had worked consistently. Truck stops in two directions, so traffic noise.

Good overall mostly but wifi (internet) never worked. Pool was dirty but it was end of April and not fully pool season I suppose. 2 Light bulbs out in one lamp, maintenance brought replacements. Tissue box in wall was empty so I left cover off to get refill for night 2 but cover was just put back on -no refill.

We have never stayed at a Motel 6 and were very nervous. But we took a chance and were glad we did. This was a very nice hotel. It was very clean, which is our main concern. The price was great.

It most definitely was more on the not-so good-side. The room was not clean. Restroom smelled like ammonia, or rather a loud stench of piss. The toilet had fecal matter and residue on the lid as well as behind it. There was no toilet paper in the room. The countertops were filthy. I didn't complain because I usually get rooms here. I called and spoke to the receptionist. Not only about the filthiness of the room and my last visit in rm 131, it being roach infested, oh how they crawl and bite on you in your sleep. But also, because this is the second time booking here, and they checked my room out after I have checked in,to someone else while I was having sex with my husband, Rm 228. The lady said she was the one who checked me in. She got off work at 11pm. The same exact room and same exact person who checked me in last stay in Rm 228. I cant rest now. I didnt know if we were getting robbed or what was going on. It felt like someone broke into our room, and invaded our privacy. The receptionist said the room was clean but I told her it was filthy. She said she didnt have my number, but clearly she asked me for it at check in between 5 and 6pm on 04/27/2024. My husband wants a refund because this is not the first time this has happened, and because they wont own up to invading our privacy. The room was hot and funky upon arrival. Someone had clipped their toe nails and left them in the bedroom drawer. It took burning incents bleach and airing out to try and rid the stench.

Mistakenly booked a smoking room - offered to pay for an upgrade but they refused. The room was missing a chair and was full of houseflies. I've always had good experiences with this place but this will be my last stay.
