It was uneventful, everyone was nice and accommodating. Room was great, clean but had to park outside with the $30 a night parking fee
3.6
This is not your typical Double Tree. The lobby is updated and kept nice, after that, this hotel needs some serious maintenance. Wallpaper peeling off everywhere, outlets won’t hold a cord in the wall, shower head sprays everywhere but the bathtub. The staff is pretty unprofessional. You really need to push and be forceful in the things you need. Did not feel like a guest, we felt like a nuisance.
3.6
The hotel is old. No daily room service provided. The breakfast was $24 which was not worth it. Parking garage elevator was broken and the parking garage was dirty - full of bugs and cobwebs.
3.6
Condition of the property needs a refresh...pricing considering condition
3.6
Staff were great. The condition of the hotel is runned down a bit and only a moderately clean room. It smelled of marijuana at check in ( in a non-smoking room) and vape. Staff allowed early check in which I appreciate.
3.6
Hotel was great. We had problems with our room key and had to go to another room. The issue was promptly resolved, and the attendant was very accommodating and nice.
When leaving the hotel, our garage key couldn't work. Once again, the matter was taken care of promptly and with apologies.
3.6
The elevator was broken so carrying baggage through a dirty parking garage stairwell was less than ideal. Also the parking fee was never disclosed and the front desk was very rude when I called about the overcharge. Be aware that the available parking is $30 a day and chances are you won’t find out until you try to get out on a weekday when the gate is down.
3.6
Great front desk staff, good location downtown, nice bar and restaurant on site and convenient shuttle service
3.6
We chose this hotel as it is in an excellent location. The property itself is a bit shabby in places, the car park lift is out of action and its stairwells are grubby. The rooms are a good size, and everything worked. Also, the windows were really dirty. The breakfast is good and we found the service and drinks and food in the bar area all very good. Although we mentioned it on two occasions, our room was not made up. Would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and ease of parking with the caveat that it is not in such good shape as some others.
3.6
Great location to the Rock & Roll Hall a Fame. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean but probably need to update the rooms with that being said, I would stay here again!
Also, the hotel is not far from the professional sports arena/fields!
3.6
The bath was disgusting!
Old, cracked and black in the bottom
Beds were very very confortable
Only 1 coffee in the room for 2 days….
Way too expective for the quality
3.6
Everything was fine except despite 3 requests a maid didn't come into our room in the 7 nights we were there. We collected extra towels/coffee/water from reception.
3.6
The hotel is old and needs a good cleaning and many updates but was easy to check in and parking was within walking distance to out destination.
3.6
Was a bit disappointed at how run down the rooms were . Was expecting things to be cleaner and more updated . Carpets in the hallways were very stained . Elevators were very dirty . Our room was not cleaned very well . Expected more from a Hilton hotel. Stained bedding , cabinets that hadn’t been cleaned in ages and glass that looked like it was wiped with a dirty cloth . The bathroom had mold in the grout and there was splatters all the walls that have never been wiped away .

The garage elevator was out of order, would have been nice to let guests know when entering so that they could let passengers & baggage out before parking (on the 4th floor) and having to juggle everything and the stairs. I have a disc issue and have difficulty & pain with stairs - thank you for that!
Cockroach infested room (805) but the staff easily moved us (405) although it didn't make me feel better. I slept with every light on & didn't fall asleep until after 4a, just too worried that bugs would crawl across the bed!
The hallways, rooms, elevators were FILTHY! Dirt along the edges of corridors, elevators, behind dressers and the bed! Carpets were stained.
The the bed comforter (between 2 dingy sheets) was grayish yellow, dirty and smelled! That came off the bed immediately! The bed skirt was visibly stained with God know what!
The fridge was frozen over and surprised one could shut the door & only one set of towels in both rooms! Do the staff think people will share after showering??? We obviously left after grabbing a quick coffee & bagel, choosing to shower at home!
If Cleveland as a whole would have not been booked with mutiple concerts and sporting events and our arrival had been earlier, I would have gone to another hotel but I was unable to find a room at another hotel on such short notice! I will NEVER stay at Double Tree and will post this review on FACEBOOK in an effort to have this shared so people can avoid this sub-par hotel!

Everything was fine but I don’t understand that on a Friday night at 11:00 after a concert and the hotel is full why the bar was closed and couldn’t get a drink. We asked where the clo place was and was told to walk 4 blocks so we did and they were also closed just bad information and not great service
3.6
Parking garage elevator wasn’t working. When we checked in I suggested they put up a sign to the parking garage entrance that never happened.
Our room safe was locked when we got into the room. I called down to have it opened and 5 hours later we still did not have it open. I walked down to the front desk and finally we had someone come up to open it. Yes it opened but now would not lock. Wasn’t happy because we wanted to lock up our passports.
3.6
The hotel has a shuttle, they took us to the concert and failed to pick us up !!!
Handicapped people had a great struggle if the made it .
$50 to park and they leave you there to walk the mile back .
Never stay here again there are closer hotels than this one !!!!!

The hotel was just okay
The front desk did ok and were somewhat pleasant.
We went to the bar for dinner (the restaurant was closed for dinner) both Tuesday and Wednesday of our stay. We wanted easy. The bar tender pretty much ignored us. Finally checked on us. Was not friendly or helpful at all. The menu was very limited. But we did manage to find something to eat.
It was difficult to get her attention to get anything else. Her attention was on the other side of the was where we could not see her and she could not see us. And she pretty much stayed there.
The food was pretty good. I had a steak and my wife had salmon. Wasn’t much more than that on the menu.
The room was okay. Although there was stuff on the floor from a previous guest. There were little flying bugs in the room.
There was more but I’m tired of writing

Nice hotel although lack of room servicing let it down slightly.
3.6
The location was good and I appreciated the bus shuttle service to and from restaurants. The hotel itself is in rough shape. The garage elevator was broken the entire time. The bathtub was chipped and had black mold on the junction with the wall. The air conditioner was noisy. No one cleaned our room by 4 pm and I had to go to the front desk for clean towels. The toilets are low and the bathroom door was warped. The fridge froze all of our fruit and we had to throw it all away. Our room door had trouble unlocking. The green light would come on but the door wouldn’t open on several tries. The wallpaper in the halls on level 14 was torn. For the money we paid, I was extremely disappointed! Our breakfast server was nice.
3.6
the parking garage attendant charged 50 for an extra car, since it was on a football game day...however when we checked in we were told differently-that an overnight charge should have been only $30
otherwise the front desk check in girl was helpful
3.6
Overall it was a good place, very comfortable and clean.
The staff didn’t give me my vouchers for the breakfast I had paid for in advance, but the next morning when I mentioned it, I finally got them.
It was also in the perfect location to get to the annual air show
3.6
This is a fine place to stay if you're in town to visit the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Parking was easy and $30 is reasonable for a downtown hotel.
3.6
Stay was amazing. Views were amazing especially with the air show. Hotel in a good location. Darneisha (Hotel desk clerk) was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Cookies were also delicious.
3.6
It was perfectly located for the activities we were pursuing while in town, there. Parking was great. We got in. Didn’t even take our bags to the room, but checked in and took off on our plans.
Later all was in order as we retired to our room. Found it to be spacious (!) and well appointed, enjoyed it immensely.
3.6
Overall it was good. Parking lot under maintained. Lights on 4 did not work, elevator was out of service. But everything else was good
3.6
Room wasn’t very clean. The who room was dusty, the coffee pot was so dirty we couldn’t use it, there were back agains in the hung picture in the bathroom, the wallpaper was lifting up and peeling and they were stains all over the wall in the bathroom
3.6
Booked a room with 2 double beds, not available on arrival, option to pay more for a bigger room, said no and after some negotiation got a king bed and pull out, then waited 1.5 hours for bedding for the pull out, staff not very friendly, breakfast they tried to charge full price for kids breakfast, not the best way to start a vacation
3.6
Busy lobby because of Cleveland Browns pre-season game. Staff was friendly but not super helpful in explaining the shuttle service and parking. Their parking ramp was also being used as an event parking ramp for the game. Overall average service, cleanliness, etc. as expected for price.
3.6
In Cleveland to run rock hall of fame half marathon. This was the perfect hotel we were walking distance to ro k and roll hall offame abd start of the race. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was awesome lots of pressure. Great restaurant with reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend!
3.6
The hotel was in a great area for walking to the Rock and Roll hall of fame. The check in was chaotic. We’d called about parking. The garage was right there, but we weren’t told to just pull in and park. The room keys failed twice.
3.6
Great service, clean room, close to Rock Hall.
3.6
No room service and when requested, they don’t clean well, they don’t restock water. My card kept demagnetizing andI had to see them multiple times.
3.6
We wanted a downtown hotel. Older property that shows its age. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Wife needed shower cap as there was none provided in room. Phoned the front desk. After 45+ minutes went downstairs to front desk to request shower cap, coffee and creamers in person. Cookies at check-in were delicious.
3.6
Great location within short walking distance to Browns stadium and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
3.6
Only issue was housekeeping never came and tub was slow to drain. I advised front desk but nobody came to clear drain.
3.6
There are definite pros and cons with this property. I will start with the pros. The free shuttle service within a mile of the property is one of the features that drew me to booking at this hotel. The drivers were extremely helpful and very nice. Most of the front desk staff were also helpful and kind, especially Mariah (one was very rude). I also can’t forget to mention the warm chocolate chip cookie you get each evening! Now for the cons. The first room we got had someone’s socks left in the closet, had no operating bathroom fan, no hairdryer, and the phone didn’t work. We were moved to another room, but we only exchanged problems. The bathroom fan and two of the lamps didn’t work, the tv worked intermittently, the remote for the opening and closing of the curtains didn’t work (maintenance came up and couldn’t get it to work, but showed us that behind the curtains were switches to operate the curtains. That would’ve been helpful information to be found somewhere in the room.) The property is in serious need of a renovation, but the convenience of having a free shuttle within a mile radius of the hotel and the price offsets most of the negative.
3.6
Standard Hotel. Nothing special.
Good location for visiting the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.
3.6
Housekeeping completely ignored our room during our 4 day stay. Even after repeated requests for housekeeping services.
