No hot water and bathtub had draining issue. Room was not very clean. Curtains were stained. Construction was going on during the stay. The front desk failed to tell me they did not have hot water prior to check in. Waited for me to pay then found out when my kids tried to take a shower. The lost hot water at 4pm and i checked in at 11pm. He knew and failed to disclose this prior to check in.

There was no way to retain water in the bathtub shower combination to take a bath. I guess that was good because upon getting in the shower, I noticed that there were hairs on the soap dispenser and on the side. Even though I put out the please make up the room sign on the door every morning because I had run out of clean towels, I never received any service in the room the entire four day stay. The refrigerator and the air conditioning system made a very loud clicking noise throughout the night. The TV was not working.

Who cares if it was “eco friendly”? I don’t. Fake science and a waste of your companies money to purse such nonsense. Needed a place to stay. It was provided. No issues or problems.

The smell and look of this Hotel is terrible. It look like a Roach motel and we ask for our money back and they refused. Never again will I stay at a Best Western This place should be for Truckers on the Road only.

The bathroom of the room we stayed wasn't cleaned properly, the countertop was stained and had long hairs. Other than that, it was fine

Good place near the university.

Great staff but the hotel itself is overpriced for the quality of the room

We had a problem with our first rooms restroom but the night receptionist got us into a new room without issues. We had no issues the rest of the time.

The experience was not what I’m used to with Best Western. My first room had an AC that didn’t work, and the front desk staff didn’t seem to understand why we were upset that it was blowing warm… it was 100° outside and we just couldn't do without AC. So finally they changed our room but the new room wasn’t much better. It cooled off enough to sleep, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone that enjoys sleeping in a cold hotel room like we do.
Also the water pressure was so high the shower felt like a pressure washer. Not a deal breaker, but not for people with soft skin.

There were bugs in the room. Bugs all over the window and we found 2 on one of the beds and a couple more in the bathroom.
I get that it's Texas and there are bugs but this really bad.

Staff could do a better job cleaning the room, emptying trash, and replacing towels. Didn't happen once in our four nights.

there were some spots on the bedsheets but we didn't notice them until morning daylight came in. Also there were no curtains in the room, just an almost see-through screen so the streetlight shined directly into the room as well as cars parking next to our window since we were on the first floor. The pool is an inside pool but the water was so cold we couldn't get in. Breakfast was ok, it had good taste but didn't have a lot of variety.

The staff were great and the breakfast was delicious. Just be aware that there is road noise. There was mold on our windows and on the lamp shade. Convenient to the Bush Library.

We ask for the room to be cleaned , bit they said service wasn’t available that day, they coukdn’t refill our shampoo dispenser that was empty, and they didn’t have hot breakfast as they announced on the site

The property and room were basic, served the purpose and that's about it. House keeping should have had sheets for pull out and didn't. Remotes for TV's worked weirdly turning on and off both TV's. Missing 2nd trash can and some of bathroom supplies were not refilled. Staff was very accommodating but these were front end misses. Good location to university. Basically a decent property but not upscale if that's what you're looking for.

Drywall on the ceiling above the shower fell in when in the shower.
The toilet seat has a large crack in it and pinches your leg when you use it. It crated a bruise on my upper leg.

Natalie at the front desk received us with very rude and unfriendly comments when we came in before 3 PM. We were appalled at her lack of customer service skills. Upon entering our room, there was trash from the prior guests left in there and not taken out by cleaning staff. The room was noisy and very bright. The shades were brpken.

Apparently the “Privacy Please” sign on the door means nothing here. We did not want anyone in the room with our belongings in it so we put the sign on the door when we left on our first morning. We get back to the room at the end of a very long day to find that they had come In And cleaned anyway!
.
Depending on the direction you’re coming from, the hotel is a bit of a pain to get to.
When we arrived there to check in on the first night no one was at the front desk, we waited, called out and finally knocked on the office door before someone finally came out. The girl was a bit rude and had such a crappy attitude. If I hadn’t paid in advance I would have left then.
While the room was clean, it was hot and smelled like sewer. The TV was difficult to get to come on (like the remote wasn’t working properly) The beds are hard and uncomfortable. We didn’t get in the pool but we did look at it and it was extremely cloudy.
Definitely not someplace I will stay again.

Traffic noise very load. Air conditioner very loud. Construction in hallway. Will not stay again.

I would not recommend this hotel. For starters, they charge a $50 deposit for “incidentals”. When I asked what those might be, they said it was in case I bust a hole in the wall. I asked if this was a safe place after hearing that, and was told I’m safe inside, there’s homeless people outside. Regarding the room: there was a bloody booger in the bath tub and long strands of hair around the tub. The wall in the bathroom was messed up as well. The soap dish was covered in soap funk left over from previous guests and the tv did not work well. It was also very loud from outside traffic and this room was facing the front… so even tho there was a shade, it was bright in the room. The shade wasn’t blackout and the light filtered through. Because of all this, I did not get any sleep. I wouldn’t stay here again!

Pool out of service, remodeled room (questionable quality work) rusty metal in bath, missing trim. The breakfast was skimpy - muffins and toast

Safety door lock broken, absolutely no lights on nightstand both side of the bed, only light was at front door , the plugs on the right side of the bed, no electricity
I have taken several pictures of the room.
Plug for ironing board was located on the ceiling .
Hallway carpet by my door was not cleaned, but the carpet was new.
