Close to Midway airport. Clean, comfortable
3.7
Was automatically given an accessible access room meaning no standing shower, but the hotel staff were very polite and helpful and gave me a better room
3.7
Room was nice, good location near several restaurants within walking distance. Be warned that they do have a $100 refundable deposit not mentioned on the hotels.com listing. Not unusual to have a deposit of course, but should be budgeted for when booking here.

The shower didn’t work

My husband and I came to Chicago for a concert and mostly just needed a place to sleep for the night, so we’re looking for a budget friendly stay. The hotel far exceeded our expectations for the price point - check in was easy and the employees were friendly, the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Can’t ask for much more than that!

Room was clean, shower was nice, friendly staff, great location. Breakfast was ok

The term Sleep Inn is somewhat ironic as I had issues sleeping every night. Other guests were often too loud, waking me up and/or keeping me up with talking or thumping loudly enough I could feel the vibrations. Clearly the rooms aren't insulated and it's way too easy to cause vibrations. The pillows are also not comfortable. This is also a hotel that puts the lone sink outside of the bathroom, which only has a sliding door. Breakfast was good and exactly what you'd expect. I did have to pay for parking each night, which I didn't realize until too late to change. Place seems clean and staff was nice.

I enjoyed my stay.

Or was Wonderful as always

Staff was friendly and helpful.
Hotel room was clean.
Food was mild, drinks were lacking.
Would not mind coming back for another stay, but I genuinely hope the food quality improves!

We were taking a brief ( 4-day) vacation to Chicago.
Sleep Inn Midway made a great base of operations for this trip.
The convenient shuttle service, the close location to eateries ( TGIFRIDAYs, and Mexican food) as well as a short walk to a Walmart and an AMC theatre was a great plus.
The included breakfast featured mostly carbs but also had eggs and sausage.
Overall it was an economical choice.

The staff was nice… the common area was nice/fine. The room smelled of mildew. But not sure where is the room it was coming from. The $20 parking fee (plus taxes and fees) is ridiculous. That’s 1/4 the amount I paid for the room… this free is clearly a money grab and way to much given the rate for the room and the fact you have a football field of parking.

Everything was good/staff check in / security
Only thing went out to smoke- couple rats
wanted to join me

Upon check in, we were given a room without a full curtain over the window (and we were on the first floor by the parking lot). This seemed strange. We asked to switch rooms. We were given a different room but it had only one bed (our original reservation was for 2 queen/double beds). We had to go back up front again to inquire for availability of a room with 2 beds and a curtain -- or to just go back to the original room since it at least had 2 beds. The front desk staff member was able to accommodate us in another room and was helpful. Other than the back and forth with check in, it was overall a good stay, would recommend.

My room was on the backside of hotel, away from busy street, but train yard noise echoing was terrible. Squeals and squeaks all night long.
3.7
Only negative was breakfast wasn’t great. Cold scrambled eggs. No sausage or bacon. The juice and coffee were excellent. The front desk staff was great. The shuttle driver was fantastic!
3.7
Awful room. Too small, bathroom was tiny and claustrophobic. Over night I got a sticker, indicating getting towed, never got any specific direction about parking even with my tag on windshield that I was paying for parking. When I questioned it at the desk, the ride person told me that there signs everything indicating parking. And I said, yes I know that’s why I paid for parking, why am I still being threatened to be towed even I showed tags on windshield. When I checked out, they didn’t ask anything about my stay or thank you or anything. I asked for a print out of my receipt. After this experience, I will never stay there again or refer anyone there.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past. This visit was horrible. The whole 3rd floor stunk like smoke. If I was not exhausted I would have looked for a new hotel

So I stay here from Aug. 17th thru Aug. 20th and I did see staff cleaning….HOWEVER, they have a HUGE 👉“Ant” problem😱 NO microwaves in the SINGLE Bed rooms, I was told AFTER I got into the room.
I had to really always watch my food and drink from the microwave in the Lobby where breakfast was served, to my room on the 2nd floor there was an issue with ants!
I spoke with The Assistant Ge real Mgr. (Noel Colunga) the General Mgr. “Joey” was not there.
Mr. Colunga claimed that an exterminator is ther every month and stated that the “Ants” were deceasing, I wld Not have wanted to be there if the “Ants” were Worse!
Apologies, that I was so shocked that I forgot to take pics!
3.7
Hidden fees not shown upfront until check in. Also needed to have better communication regarding housekeeping.
3.7
The room was clean enough but I was never approached by room service to have my sheets changed or room cleaned during my 4 night stay.
3.7
Very friendly , helpful. Staff . The complimentary ride to and from airport to Chicago transit lines was super hrlpful and appreciated
3.7
Rooms was clean and nice. Refrigerators in only some rooms and it’s random if you get one. This location purposely schedules free breakfast at 630am weekdays and 7am weekends so people catching early flights do not get to eat. 99% of sleep inn locations have 6am breakfast according to the choice hotels website. Also, microwave in breakfast area loaded with live ants. Cannot and would not use!! Will not stay here again.

Dont be fooled by the photos. The hotel is grimy, the rooms are dirty, the carpet on the floors are stained and so is the bedding. There is a dingy smell in the rooms and the bathrooms are tiny with no proper ventilation.
There were people openly drinking and smoking weed outside the main entrance as well as the side entrances of the hotel. Did not feel like a safe place for families with small children. Will never be returning.
3.7
My socks were black from walking on the floor
3.7
Staff is very courteous . What I did not like was the cleanliness there staff need to do a thorough cleaning especially changing bed covers, etc.
3.7
The hotel is older and it shows. The carpets were worn and dusty. Shower had spots that looked like they were dirty. The elevators are scratched up and hallways smell like weed and it's supposed to be a non-smoking hotel. You pay almost $25, including tax, to park your own car in a lot that's usually free parking at most hotels. The hotek is located in a huge lot that has several other hotels included. I would have paid a little more and stayed at the Marriott. The breakfast was ok. There weren't a lot of options. The best part of the stay was the Manuelo's Tamale restaurant across the street. They are 24hrs and they have really good Mexican food! Choose a different hotel in the area and grab some really good food!
3.7
Shower was dirty, had hair all iver the floor GROSS. Room was very musty smelling. Carpet filthy.
3.7
Was a little loud while sleeping due to the airplanes taking off / landing at the air port near by but that is expected. Very clean and comfortable room! Highly suggest!

Not sure what all the riff raff was in the comments but it’s a good hotel. I mean if you’re picking the cheapest in a cluster of four, this hotel was really nice. Not much to access around the hotel in terms food or quick stops, but it was a comfortable place to sleep. Fantastic access to the hotel with the shuttle service.
3.7
I like the staff they were very courteous

it was good

Room Dirty
3.7
Staff was nice. Room wasn't clean.
3.7
I like the room.
3.7
Some type of security considering the area. But, other than that my stay was nice.
3.7
I was genuinely, happily surprised at how nice my room was. It was cute and clean, especially the bathroom fixtures. And the front desk clerk was the nicest I've encountered in a while; and it was midnight when I checked in!
3.7
Half the price of the other hotels close to Midway, but very nice. Desk staff was so helpful to me catch the shuttle.
3.7
Nice hotel but fairly old. Room was small but nicely decorated
and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was OK. Staff was friendly and lobby was comfortable.
