The staff were incredible and did what they could in a very busy situation, but it didn’t stop the fact that our room was not ready for the requested 2pm check in, so I had no choice but to get ready in a bathroom in the lobby for our concert. I appreciate that this would likely not have been the case on any other event (Taylor Swift) but this was a big disappointment for getting ready for the event I had travelled to see. I based my travel options on when my room would be ready so I didn’t have to wait outside or in a lobby. That part was very unfortunate.

This is the second time I have booked this hotel. Great location, friendly staff, clean spacious rooms. Free breakfast is a nice bonus.

Customer service was excellent from checking-in, at complimentary breakfast, and room requests. The bed was also very comfortable and the room we had was very spacious.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast and the exercise room was good. Would have liked to see more equipment. Highly recommend

Check in was fast. Person at check in was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Room was clean and spacious. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Only complaints is the number of homeless nearby and the sound of sirens heard throughout the night from our room.

Clean and comfortable rooms, good location , walking distance to shopping centers , early check in available . Good breakfast , lots of choices .

This hotel is awesome. Great location. We got around on foot, by train and uber woth no issue. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast had lots of options and it wasn't the same every day. Definitely book here.

Super friendly staff. Very helpful and personable. Made my tour that much easier and enjoyable

I had a great stay at the residence inn for my first time visiting Vancouver. The staff were incredibly helpful and the room was perfect for my two night stay. The only downside is the construction happening opposite which can be noisy at times but I barely noticed it on the whole. Would stay again!

We had an amazing stay. Mike from the front desk was incredible, he gave us tips about the city. We arrived early in the morning to drop off our luggage, but Mike made sure to give us a room even though it wasn’t time to check in yet. The rest of the staff was very friendly as well. They stored our luggage after checking out and helped us get a taxi to the airport. The rooms are clean and big. Breakfast is good too. The hotel has a great location, walking distance from downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

My friends and I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. We were greeted by Mike who went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. He gave us an overview of where to go, how to take free shuttle to Capilano Suspension bridge park and restaurant recommendations. We loved the spacious and clean room, complimentary breakfast and 24 hour gym. The location is also excellent. It’s in the center of everything yet quiet enough to take a good rest after fun filled day of activities.

Enjoyed our few days here. Has decent amenities and staff do their best to make your stay a good one. It is quite close to the restaurants of Yaletown plus a couple of markets to purchase foods if eating in. The construction work directly across the road did not affect our stay.
Room: Bed was firm and comfortable even though the pillows are the down type they collapse/squash when resting your head. Fridge is a decent size and the kitchen space workable for 1 person. Dislike the shower/bath setup. Could say cramped. TV is reasonable size, but cable television is what it is.
Breakfast: Free - Most will find something here to satisfy them. Not a lot of fresh fruit but daily had bananas and apples, but no real other options like berries/pineapple. Cereals ok but not extensive. The waffles were good, but other hot food options were relatively dry and limited. Range of 4 juices were ok too. Regular tea and coffee options along with chocolate powder.
Location: Not real close to Canada Place but close enough if wanting to do tours and you can walk near 2km, 20-25 minutes. A decent walk as well to the nearest metro at Yaletown, about 700m, if you have to transfer to the airport as we did. On a fine day not too bad. Close enough if you want to do Granville Island Markets.
Laundry: only two washing machines, coin operated, which can be a premium. Took the dryer over 1 hour on medium heat to dry clothes, and therefore had to pay for 2 hours.

The breakfast was lacking, but location and size if rooms was great!

The property was on strike so there was no food or any services available. Our room was very nice and clean, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, but not having even coffee was a bummer.

Residence Inn: our studio was clean & comfortable. Our view was of a noisy construction site across the street. The immediate neighborhood included a drug treatment facility as well as active drug addicts. The elevators were slow…1 was down all the while & a second one down for a day…leaving 1 operational, which had us glad to be on the 5th floor. The fitness facility was closed due to construction while we were there.
The breakfast was great, staff was friendly.

The place was lovely. Location was within walking distance from great restaurants and other attractions. We slept well in spite of the construction going on across the street.

We got in to the hotel after midnight, checkin was a breeze. When we woke up the next morning, we had a notice under the door that stated the staff was on strike and breakfast, the gym and pool would all be closed until further notice. I booked this hotel for the convenience of being able to eat breakfast in the morning. When we made it to the lobby, it was complete chaos!
I understand things happen but not to be given any notice when we had literally Che is in several hours prior …it’s not like management did t know this was coming!

Our stay overlapped with hotel staff strike which meant no housekeeping or breakfast during our stay . But hotel didn't automatically compensate us or offered anything because of strike impact. After many conversations with multiple managers, I eeked out some refund from the managers . Definitely will avoid this property in future.

This hotel is in a great location and you can walk to so many restaurants. The room was large and had a full kitchen. They had great breakfast - freshly made oatmeal, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, toasts and muffins of various kinds, pancakes and waffles, flavored yogurt etc. Room was updated and WiFi worked great. Parking spots were tight.

The service and hotel conditions were excellent. What was not good was that I found that I could have saved over 20% by booking direct with the hotel rather than through Hotels.com. I had reservations for another night after returning from cruise and indeed canceled with Hotels.com and rebooked with Residence Inn direct, saving 0F 20%

Excellent breakfast, knowledgeable and very helpful staff, providing directions by bus to various places and bringing a chair for my husband (who has disabilities) for the shower. All service was prompt and friendly

The only thing we have to stay is that there was an elevator issue while we were there for the 1 night. Other than that it was a great stay.

Really enjoyed this hotel! Friendly staff-great rooms and perfect for walking to restaurants, shopping and water taxis to get to Granville and kitsilano.

Great service. All of the employees we spoke with were great. The room was well appointed. Clean facilities. Great amenities. Average breakfast and busy if you get there past 8 am. Fresh fruit runs out pretty fast, sadly. The hotel itself looks a little dated in certain areas but clean. Good location. We would stay agian

Good location and good sized room. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast selection was great

The property is in a good location, many drug addict encounters however. The property is clean. Food is terrible for breakfast buffet. My husband had an incident of cutting his head open on a side table while reaching for some water, and I requested 1 night free for the inconvenience of staying up to make sure he did not have a concussion. Nothing was offered and they were very rude

there is a construction ongoing, around the hotel does not feel safe.

We had a great stay! The king suite was very spacious and it had a great sized kitchen. The pool and hot tub was great for our toddler.
