Excellent(225 Reviews)4.4
No smoke detectors in the family room. No fire extinguishers in the corridors. General maintenance below par. A stacked away fire extinguisher spotted at the back of a utility closed. Common areas of the main building look good (if you don't mind a very unpleasant light color in the bar and restaurant area - emergency rooms have a warmer atmosphere), but that's about it. Wouldn't recommend for anything else than the location IF you want to be that much in central downtown.

An extremely pleasant surprise in the heart of Brussels. Great amenities and value.
4.4
The details on the hotel and at the room are excellent.
The people are very friendly and helpful. Overall is excellent!
4.4
Very convenient location for all the sightseeing and its right in the heart of all the activities. Very charming and has a very different decor than other Hotels.
Downside is that cabs do not go directly to the Hotel. Pick up and drop off is away from the Hotel which is an inconvenience.
Coffee and tea making facilities is available, but no refrigerator or making coffee or tea in the room.
Overall it was a very good experience. I would recommend for its difference, charm and location.
4.4
Excellent location in the center and withing walking distance to the highlights of the city. Room very spacious and excellent breakfast. One problem, the hotel is located on a pedestrian area and no cars can take you there. You have to walk with your luggage for almost 4 blocks.
4.4
This is the hotel you should definitely stay at if you go to Brussels. Spacious, clean and tastefully decorated rooms. In the central part of the city. It is in the pedestrian zone in the area of restaurants, shops and bars. And the service is excellent.

Best option in Brussels!
Nice rooms, nice breakfast

The apartment we stayed I. Very very comfortable and accommodating for our family of 4. There was a separate bedroom and 2 beds in the living room with plenty of space. We had to walk up a lot of stairs to get to the elevator to get to the apartment. It was fine for us but cold be difficult with a lot of luggage or for people traveling that have difficulty climbing stairs. They stored our luggage after we checked out. I would recommend this location. There wasn’t a lot of noise outside the night we stayed.

Great room, could use better bedding

Upon coming in, we were able to check in early at 10:30 AM, giving us time to freshen up and start walking around the city. The staff was extremely nice. Our only issue was climbing up the stairs with a lot of heavy suitcases because we were put on the facility next door for family.

Very good

Lovely cozy decor....staff lovely.. Great location... Worth more than 3*..would highly recommend especially for solo travelling... Just generally great to get to everything...

The hotel was not ready for guests. Ladders in the entryway, lobby restroom very dirty and elevators not working at times. The towels in the room were very small, worn and stained. Also, the beverage bar was only open from 6 pm to 11 pm. If you wanted water or coke, it wasn’t available. Disappointed overall.
4.4
Right in the centrum of Brussel. Clean and cosy hotel.
4.4
Very good for sightseeing. But accommodation condition such as noise from outside of the hotel was not very good.
4.4
Air conditioner not working
Fan no working
No elevator to access room with long stairs
The room was in another building. With an access in the middle of the street

I got upgraded to some sort of family room, which is like a small apartment. Except for the wifi that was horrible, and that it was in another building across the street, the hotel was really nice. Location is excellent!
4.4
This hotel is convenient to shopping restaurants and transportation. It is located in Brussels Square.
4.4
This property was convenient to shopping, restaurants, and transportation. The one drawback of this room was it was on the street side and noisy.
4.4
The best showers in EU.
4.4
I booked a single room as Expedia suggested for solo travellers and the rating was showing excellent
However the bed was too short and small. and you could fell down when you are at sleep. Was not able to sleep well at all. The single room is good only if you prefer to book a separate room for a child but for adult….
The restaurant is amazing with good vibe and vibrant menu…

I had a 1st floor room facing the pedestrian walkway. It was very noisy. The hotel is very dated. I’ve never had a room safe which required a key to lock. I fortunately happened to be in my room several days after checkin when a maintenance man asked to enter to check the safe for a key. I’d been given a key after returning to the front desk when I discovered the safe would not lock. This really unnerved me.

The lobby is nice but the entrance was a bit awkward. The rooms were decently sized but some of our towels were stained when we wanted to use them. The breakfasts were nice and the building was well situated in the city.
4.4
Craves is a large hotel with quite an upmarket feel. The rooms have a distinctive colour theme which I really liked. Reception and the dining area are both quite luxurious. Staff were all friendly and the hotel is in a great position for all the main attractions of Brussels city centre, with the Grand Place and Bourse a short walk. The central railway station is walkable in 10 minutes or so. There are lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops close by and the unmissable Café à la Mort Subite a short walk.
4.4
The room was spacious and very comfortable. The overall feel of the hotel was very unique and fun. The registration desk is at the back of the restaurant so that was a little confusing. There is a really cool speakeasy in the hotel that I would recommend visiting.
4.4
Very nicely designed hotel. Although the corridors at 2nd and 3rd floors seemed dark and eerie, the bedrooms were beautiful and glad that there was a bath tub during our stay as it was pretty cold outside.
4.4
Poor in all respects except location
4.4
The first receptionist was terrible , she doesn’t care about guest comfort. The family rooms are in a second building and has to use stairs, this is a wrong advertising.
Until we Getz back from the tours like 6pm, Aa new receptionist gave us 2 single room with elevator and we could have a nice stay.
Unless you have no heavy bags this hotel woth it, they don’t have porter
4.4
Visually fab hotel but not necessarily a hotel - no hotel bar - no room service - restaurant downstairs is not part of the hotel - No coffee or tea facilities in the room
- coffee dock on 1st floor
Without the hotel facilities above I would choose somewhere else next time I’m in Brussels
Positives - Great location and great reception staff
4.4
You can hear outside noise from the room. Lots of noise especially on fri/ sat night. Hallways are dark. Wish they had a coffee/tea pot in room instead of on 1st floor.

It was a pleasure to stay at the craves hotel! It had such a European vibe!
4.4
We didn’t stay at the hotel.
Unfortunately on check-in we were told our room and all the Triple and Family Rooms were accross the road in a seperate building. Even the Guy on Reception had trouble finding the access door. The door to the building is hidden under the Canopy of a Cafe/Restaurant. We had 27 steps to climb to our room 411 on the first floor. The bedroom was hot and we were unable to open the windows as these were serving as secondary glazing! At night it was noisy! The front door could be heard each time it closed, other guests could be heard going to their rooms and the sound of bottles being moved. (Hence the need for the hotel to provide each guest with ear plugs!
The bathroom was a small compact shower room. On the plus side with a very good powerful shower!!
The layout could be useful ie Walking into a kitchenette area with a sofa bed and having a seperate bedroom.
We however felt isolated from the security of staying at a hotel with a 24hr Reception. Even the phone wasn’t plugged in.
Location to the Square was good - 5 minute walk.

Amazing stay! Such a cute, well decorated hotel at a reasonable price. Perfectly located near Grand Place. The hotel staff are kind and accommodating. The only issue we had was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom pipes and drain. Maid staff do a great job cleaning and freshening every day, but the smell of the pipes indicates the entire system probably needs to be cleaned out. I would absolutely stay again though. Go find the speakeasy bar!

Good hotel in central Bruxelles

Key card always had issue had to change few times.
AC not working, mentioned reception few time to get AC checked - no action taken.

It took a while to choose a hotel for a long weekend in Brussels, after reading reviews we decided to choose this one. The room was perfect for the weekend, as was the location. You could hear some noise outside, but that was if you really focused on it and it never interfered with our sleep. Easy to access from the Eurostar on the metro.
The staff were extremely helpful and we also were lucky enough to be checked in early.
Luggage storage was great.
The breakfast buffet was great too for the price.
4.4
Craves was an interesting Hotel due to the unique design choices and colours. Made it a touch more fun compared to other hotels in the area. Front staff were kind and helpful and allowed us to leave our bags in advance of our check-in. The size of the room was very nice.
While the room was pleasant and the bed was big and comfy, the shower sprayed water everywhere and did not drain properly. We also did not have hot water to the bathroom sink on the second day.
4.4
First time i have used it and will definitely stay again! Excellent value for money! It is the attention to detail, it is like staying in a 5 star hotel at 2 star prices! :-)
4.4
Cute and cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and great location. Staff was very friendly allowing us to check in early and switch to a quiter room on the backside of the hotel. The coffee machine is not in the rooms if you are just booking the small double, so you have to get your hot water and nespressos down the hall. The only issue is the machin broke in the morning, but I'm sure it doesn't happen all the time. The street is busy, so it might be noisy depending on where your room is located. They also had a very cool cocktail bar "hidden" in the hotel we stumbled upon by accident.

Everything was perfect, thank you!
