Well it’s a bit run down and needs some updating . Reasonable clean , carpet shabby . Still that old mountain feel . With even the old slide open chute at the front entrance where they would have slid in your continental breakfast back in the day . We would stay there again .

Stayed for 3 nights but did not recieve any housekeeping. Had to ask for clean towels as there was no where to hang them up to dry. Had to ask for rubbish to be collected.

Would highly recommend staying. Rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable.

Functional accommodation situated a short walk from town centre high street.

Spacious room , comfy bed and pleasant surroundings. Only issue was the outside lights coming on at 5am which shone into our room thrthe curtains. Apparently this is for the tradies who stay during the week and leave early. Understand that but it would be nice if the timer was adjusted on the weekend.

It was a very cozy accommodation that was well appointed with heating any comfortable bedding.

Comfortable and clean. Not a new motel but very clean. Sound of road traffic may not be suitable for light sleeper.

Clean and comfortable room (if somewhat dated and dark) but traffic and train noise was reasonably loud.

The property is very dilapidated and looks untidy externally as well as needing some major work inside. I had a delux room and curtains were hanging of windows in disrepair, gardens unkept and a general appearance of untidy. I did have clean linen however many areas were dusty in the room on sideboards in main wardrobe and around doors and windows. Having no opportunity for any food source was not advantageous. I had stayed at the same place 48 years ago and I am saddened to say nothing had really changed except the disrepair. I was very surprised to see in the office it had been given 4 stars by what if and one the award for 2923 and 2023 not sure why. Probably use it as a last resort would. be my advice and Wotif.com you need to review your rating. ☹️☹️

The drive in lane has a dip scarping the bottom of the car, the curtains were broken and not even hanging up properly. The noise from the highway. The sheets and the carpets were not looked clean. We tried to make a cup of tea and the cup broken.
This place needs more attention and looking after.

Very tired old motor inn. We weren't hoping for much, but for over $200 a night, we would expect a kettle that worked at a minimum.

Blackheath motel was comfortable and convenient for a one night stay. Reasonable size, comfy bed and handily located for pubs for dinner. Tiny bathroom with very ordinary shower but suited us well. Luckily away a tiny bit from highway. Thought dark wood added a bit of character

It’s an older property with awkward parking spaces to get in and out of. They could have some milk in the fridge and a few more conveniences such as dish cloths and detergent for washing up, given that we weren’t offered cleaning of the room in our 3 day stay. That said, there is a microwave and toaster; and I’m sure the polite staff would have offered more services had we asked.

Sadly I have been so disappointed in my 4 day stay here
The room did not look freshly clean … when I checked the bed it looked like it may have been slept in
I had to request that it be made with fresh sheets
The bathroom had not been cleaned at all .. there was still rubbish in the bin
While both these problems were rectified it made my stay here very uneasy

Excellent hosts but unfortunately i had little sleep. The motel is located on a very busy highway, which also has a very busy railway line next to it. The chalets have single glazing which meant the roar of traffic and trains was mafnificent! I had to pop in my noise cancelling ear buds in the end which was not particularly comfortable to sleep in. If you are not bothered by road and rail noise then this motel is well located. Not really any need for the 8 notices taped to the room either, everything from telling you what can be placed in the toilet through to warnings not to leave lights on when not in room.

Disappointing condition of outside space, deluxe room good and very good bathroom. The property just needs a big tidy up

Property was very noisy at night with truck noise on highway.
No cleaning was done to room unless I asked. I spent 7 nights there & it was cleaned once after I asked.

The location, size of the room, cleanliness and excellent shower.
We would have liked to have two dessert spoons to go with the two cereal bowls for eating our breakfast.

Very friendly, helpful hosts & a very comfortable stay, just one night each side of a trip to Central Western NSW. We liked the original dark woodwork in the room, and appreciated the bathrobes in the deluxe room and electric blankets as the weather was cold. Nice thick white towels in the bathroom, and fresh milk for tea & coffee was appreciated. The price was very reasonable for a holiday weekend.

I liked the old world charm of the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was terrific as the Inn is only a 5 minute walk to the village.

Some confusion at check in due to wotif paperwork. It clearly stated. It clearly stated balance due at hotel $0. Deposit processed for whole amount. Man at reception insisted nothing had been received. We had to look at our bank account to see if a payment had been made. He was correct. Not a good start to our stay thanks to wotif.
