The property is in a great , quiet location and the potential is there for a wonderful place to stay .
it’s good value for money and clean and almost comfortable.
It was such a shame that some issues really brought down my rating for the property .
There were no screens on windows or doors and even in the chilly weather flies were a problem.
The oven didn’t work and there was no hairdryer.
The gas heater took off the chill from the air but it wasn’t really a cosy cottage .
The verandah could have been a perfect place to relax - the sun was fantastic here but the area was used for storage with stacked chairs and tables , big plastic bins- it just looked uncared for .
This could be such a wonderful place if someone just stopped and thought about the way it is presented .

It was a peaceful setting. The shower had good pressure and the bathroom was clean. Extra blankets in the cupboards were a nice touch as we needed them (see below)
Half of the electric blanket wasn’t working, which was disappointing considering we stayed in snow country.. luckily there were extra blankets.. the oven didn’t work despite being included in the description as a feature of the property, which was also disappointing given that we purchased some frozen foods for dinner to just chuck into the oven after a long day of travelling to get there.. luckily the grill works..

It was better than we expected. Two rooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two single. The queen bed had a heated blanket. The bathroom was big, great water pressure. Every room was neat and clean. Perfectly located for a weekend in the Blue Mountains without the caos of being in katoomba. Good value for money.
The place was really cold (understandably in winter, but hard to heat up, only kitchen got warmish), and there wasnt much kitchenware, just the basics.

It was clean, good location, value for money. The shower has excellent water pressure.
The beds weren't comfortable. Neither was the couch. One side of the electric blanket did not work at all. The neighbours were loud and dropping some intense profanity which I would have preferred my toddler not hear. There was a dog that barked for one entire day.

The keys were easy to find. The rooms were large and the bathroom newly renovated. There were lots of blankets available.
The beds were comfortable. Extremely affordable. The contact was very helpful.
The keys were not under the mat but were found easily. There was a fair amount of dust in the corners of each room but was otherwise clean. The doona cover was stained. There was only one towel for two of us. The directions were hard to follow especially at night. The person in the cabin opposite had parked in front of the sign which was not helpful.

Separate rooms, space, clean
No tea, coffee or milk. Bedrooms did not have heaters. TV was smaller than a computer monitor.

Stayed one night, one adult and one child. Lovely location, nice and quiet meaning great sleep. Lounge was comfortable and kitchen very well equipped, both nice and clean. Easy to find and onsite parking. Heating unable to adjust but worked. Appreciated that host left linen for child's bed and towels at no extra cost. Carpet clearly vacuumed and toilet/basin/shower clean. Host called to make sure we had directions and to give us instructions which was a nice personal touch.
Not nice to walk in to garbage bin in dinner table - unhygienic. Bathroom floor clearly hadn't been cleaned, dirty footprints and large puddle clearly left from shower. Both bedroom sidetables very dusty, needed wiping before use. Bed heads in second bedroom not attached to beds and bedhead of bed cold used hit child in head. No door handles on outside of children's bedroom so had to get child to close - not ideal. Also no door handle on bathroom door. So-called patio was shared and rundown and had bins on it.

We were very comfortable, and check in was easy and stress-free.
A few tiny things would've made our stay easier - salt, oil and a coffee plunger would be very handy additions.

It was a simple accommodation with everything we needed. A pretty view and great location. Quiet and nice outdoor space for eating.
Some of the power points weren’t working and one of the fan’s was broken, which made it difficult to cool the room. Needs a screen door on the balcony sliding door so air can flow in without the mozzies.
