To start, this is not one of, this IS the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was absolutely disgusting. I booked two nights with two queen beds and a pull out. Firstly. They’re not queen sized beds. They’re full size. Secondly. There were holes in the carpet, tears in the sofa, mildew in the bathroom, mold on the ceilings. They spray painted the top of the stove and the paint was all over the counter. I was charged 1,800.00 for Friday to Sunday stay. The first night I was there I searched everywhere locally for another place to stay. The staff was rude and inconsiderate. At one point I asked for an extra pillow and the man working the counter just walked out from behind the counter, walked into another room and then handed me one. Don’t even get me started on the smell. The smell was musty and disgusting. Imagine listing your hair on fire and then placing that burnt hair on a plate of over cooked chicken curry. I am furious that I spent that amount of money for such a disgusting atmosphere. Zero point in attempting to get my money back or a portion of it back because we all know that’s a waste of time. I went to the front text when I was asking for a pillow and the guy was being confronted by another person because their bathroom light didn’t work, her hair dryer didn’t work and the guy at the counter told her that she was crazy for thinking someone would repair those things for her on a Saturday. At 900.00 a night, save your money. Sleep in your car.

We stayed for one night to have some extra time in Salem over the weekend. It was a great stay no problems at all, the place could use some upgrades especially to the carpets other than that we enjoyed our stay and bonus it was per friendly!

The rooms were not clean here. The carpet had a very musty smell and was obviously stained and sticky. Needs a good deep cleaning. Bed was comfortable.

The room smelled weird and the floor felt sticky (even with shoes on). The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. It was a cheap price for a one night stay, but I would never plan to have an “extended stay” at this place. It had a two burner hot plate in the kitchen that’s seen better days. The “complimentary” breakfast in the lobby was the worst prepackaged muffin I’ve ever had.

This was to be a smoke-free room, but the room had a constant stale cigarette smoke smell which was especially strong in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was not much, and one of the mornings the coffee was made in the (clearly labeled) "HOT WATER" caraffe.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed. Hotel was generally dirty and worn. the light in our bathroom did not work, so they had placed the desk lamp from the room in the bathroom. When we asked for a different room, we were told repeated that they were fully booked even though it was apparent that they were not. Horrible staff and facility. Avoid this location.

I was VERY disappointed in this hotel absolutely nothing like the pictures you see online for booking site.. The room was absolutely disgusting. The couch, curtains, headboards all had holes in it, stains all over the rugs, caked on food on the stove and mold all over the bathroom. I could not believe the condition of this room. I plan on writing to the company as well as Expedia on the horrible conditions we endured at the stay. I would NEVER recommend staying here to anyone!!

I was expecting a budget option for the area - but I was very disappointed. I woke up in our “non- smoking” room thinking someone was smoking next to me. The hallways have a gross smell with a periodic air freshener dispensing - but the combo is off putting. I stepped on the elevator with a person that works at the hotel and they physically gagged with the smell. The breakfast was grab and go but was so modest. It had pre packaged muffins and breakfast bars. They didn’t even have water. The staff was fine and I am thankful that our floors in the room weren’t carpet. For the cost, I was shocked at the condition of the rooms - most notably the smell.

Room was very stinky, had a mold/musty smell. We had 3 pillows for a 4 person reservation, hotel didn't have any more pillows. Breakfast wasn't actually Breakfast, no milk for oatmeal. Shelves had stains, very outdated, rips on couch, floor was very sticky in room, outlet cover was broken exposing electrical. Bathroom tub was dirty. Kitchen stove was dirty. Very dissatisfied and want a refund.

When we first arrived, the front desk manager stated that the elevator wasn’t working which was fine with us however; in the room there was multiple insects on the bed and in the floor and when we complained and decided to leave they only said that we were still going to be charged. Never again!!

Spartan at best. Kitchen had no supplies and when you asked for them you had to go to the lobby even though the info card said they would deliver. Breakfast was a joke - coffee/tea and oatmeal. The laundry took coins or card though the lobby said coins only and did not have any detergent. The last morning had no hot water for the shower.

BEWARE! Do not stay at this property! The room was filthy. The rug was covered in visible stains, there were what appeared to be blood stains on the sofa bed, bugs in the bathroom, the room smelled of smoke (for a non-smoking room), and the staff were rude. We walked into the room, took photos, went to the front desk to request another room and we were told there were no options. We requested a refund based on the expectation for a clean room, and we were told "talk to Expedia." Expedia denied our request for a refund, saying the property manager makes that call. What a joke. Expedia and Extended Stay both were horrible to deal with on this issue. There was no way I was staying in that room with my child. We walked out. We do not recommend Expedia or Extended Stay.

It is a great place for a longer stay. If you get there later in the evening for check in, after 7pm, you might have to wait a bit. When I checked out, I asked for a receipt, was told it would be emailed to me and almost 9 hours later I have not received it.

My family and I checked in late at night and the lobby was clean and had a pleasant odor. I wish I could say the same for the room when we walked in. The room smelled musty and the foul odor from the hallway was seeping into our room. Thankfully my wife had packed cleaning supplies for our 2 week long trip. The countertops were filthy, the curtains in the room smelled like mildew. My wife and I cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen area and the cleaning wipes had black residue on them. Needless to say we left after only being there for 8 hrs.

We enjoyed our stay in the assisted/handicap room with cooking/refrigerator. Such a bonus to be able to NOT have to eat out every day. Great option at this location!! Super helpful staff and much appreciated the open/handicap bathroom amenity!! Only thing I might recommend is a few more options in the "grab and go" breakfast and two options in coffee - decaf and regular. There was only regular. Maybe toast, bagels (flavored) cream cheese, butter and some fruit or different juice(s)??

Room was filthy. I took pictures of it as we walked in. Stains all over the carpet and couch. Cigarette or drug burns o. The counter. The toilet seat didn't fit the toilet bowl. The whole room smelled of urine, it's the carpet , like an animal had urinated and it was never cleaned. Door locks didn't work have the time. Toe nail clipping under the bed. All of this can be over looked, what can't be overlooked is the drug needle I found und er the mattress on the 5 night. I made it aware to the man at the front desk. I was threatened to be kicked out caused I spoke to another guest about the needle. I called the police and they came and got the needle. I have made a claim for a refund, and I haven't heard back from anyone yet. I was told to wait 2 days, this is the 3 day. I checked out early and paid to stay at a clean hotel.
