Avoid the morning staff, make sure your room is clean first, bring extra pillows/towels.
The beds were comfy and the water pressure was nice in the shower.
The morning person is horrible. Rude, and doesn’t care about the guest. We had to be changed rooms because the first one only had the bed made, nothing else done. It’s “non-smoking” and yet there was a pile of cigarette butts and a lighter on the balcony (that you can’t even get to unless you crawl out your window, so a waste of building time and money). The entire third floor smelled like someone’s pet bird’s cage hadn’t been cleaned for weeks (you could hear the bird). The rooms are falling apart. The electric outlets in both rooms were entirely coming out of the walls. The shower curtain rod wasn’t secured properly so the curtain kept falling down. The pool is “closed for the season”. We got only 2 pillows on our bed, the first night we asked he said he’d bring them up and never did. Second night we asked we were told they were out! On a Tuesday night?

I hope I’m compensated for inconvenience
Nothing. Not even the price!
We were placed on the fourth floor, smoking section, only to find out homeless and recovering addicts were also staying here. Very uncomfortable situation. Checked out within in an hour where I had to pay 3x as much for a room last minute across the street.

Not the worst 😬
I liked the fact that it was relatively close to Salem!
our room smelled like a cigarette upon check in, the a/c was not working and room was very warm! the luggage cart fell apart crushing my foot while not even an apology was offered!

Very poor
I was able to get things I needed right away. And it was somewhat close to Salem.
The halls stank of merijane. And children running up and down the halls. As well as our sleep was disturbed by the next room with fighting and screaming. The floor in the bathroom had extended water damage to the point the flooring was buckling, and the tub was missing pieces. And it took forever to get hot water for showers. The room was very minimal and basic. No frills, for sure. The hotel must be used for extended stays quite often.

Clean comfortable beds and bedding, but disappointed in service and wondered if I had an issue how s
Didn’t eat breakfast. Comfortable sleep.
Only 1 facecloth for 3 guests and our room smelled faintly of stale smoke.Staff person who checked me in was barely civil and did bare minimum…no friendly smile and welcome…the person ahead of me had a toilet that wasn’t flushing…she wanted to know if he wanted to stay in the room until it could be repaired…seemed unconcerned about his problem. Another guest behind me had a key that after several tries still wouldn’t work. I would have expected her to deal with these issues quickly and courteously, with an apology for any inconvenience. The staff checking out however were quick, friendly and courteous. The elevators needed a serious paint job, doors and all. Not a good impression.

Bad
The elevators were really dirty and smelled awful. I stayed on the 2nd floor and even the floors in the hallway were dirty. Part of the floor in the room I stayed in was also dirty and sticky.
