Spark is clearly recently renovated, but is very lacking in the housekeeping department, and the continental breakfast could be the worst Ive ever had. No knives (plastic or other) to cut your bagel or spread butter. Brittany was great, tried to help correct some of the problems.

It was a nice hotel. I appreciated that the floors were not carpeted. I would say that my only complaints were that there was no coffee maker in the room which seems pretty standard. Also, the shower gift cold after about a minute or two which was very disappointing. For this reasons, I gave 4 stars. I would only stay again if the water temperature was fixed.

The hallways and room smelled of mildew. Room is a nice size, but smelled mildewy. Other than that, all was good.

Staff was friendly & helpful. I know the breakfast bar is complimentary however the first day it was ok for something quick the second day was exactly the same however less from the first in it due to people eating the first day. It was not replenished. Paper supplies were & condiments. Fantastic coffee all the time though. Everything else was good especially service at front desk was excellent.

I was returning home, and I had left late from the beach...so by the time I got to area, it was after midnight. My 8-year old was begging me to stop and go to sleep, and I was getting very tired. I stopped at one hotel and was very rudely told they had no room, so I decided to go on hotel.com and see if I could find anything. Luckily, this hotel was close by and had availability. I booked my room and showed up ready to go to sleep...but alas...hotel.com sucks! My reservation was not for that night. If it hadn't been for the most wonderful, amazing, friendliest, and just very patient woman behind the counter, I would have cried. My warning...don't use hotel.com to book same day after midnight. This woman worked tirelessly to fix her system into giving me a room without me having to pay another night...and it wasn't easy! But I got my room and had the most comfortable sleep there could be! I will definitely be visiting again!!!
Also...this hotel has just undergone renovations for its new name change and WOW!!! Don't mind the little bit of dust because if you do, you will miss out! The rooms were so clean and still had the new room smell. The paint and decor was fresh. Loved it!!!!

I am not sure whether the fault lies with hotels.com or the property, but we booked our stay over a month in advance and upon our arrival, discovered the property is closed. The only reason I did not rate it 1 star for all services, is because there was a refund issued for our stay.
I do not know if the hotel is renovating and re-opening or what the situation is, but we certainly won't be attempting to stay at this location in the future. While we are thankful for the refund, having received no notification of the closing, and had to find another property after having driven to town.

It was one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed at. It was under renovation, but room was dirty and mattress was very old. Walls are paper thin and can hear everything in the next room. They had the TV on all night. They did not have my room selection and did not offer to reduce my room rate. The breakfast was bad with no selections available and the OJ was colored water! The coffee was made awful as well.

Everything about this hotel from the beginning was horrible. The hotel manager (I am guessing) was extremely rude for me for no reason. The hotel room we got both beds sheets were dirty. The manager handed me new sheets and told me to put them on myself and they will send room service tomorrow. The inside of the bathroom looked like they started construction but did not finish. Our stand up shower had hair and other dirty things in it the installation of the shower head was very poorly done and just not up to standard. On top of that the bathroom since started leaking. You could hear everything from the rooms next to you. On top of that there was no breakfast being served and the hotel as a whole smelled like cigarettes and mildew. The pool was being “remodeled” but it looked like no one ever used it and that was an excuse. I booked for the whole weekend and ending up staying one night after booked another hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE. 1/2024

I didnt like the fact that it says that they have a pool and hot breakfast and they don't. It smelled like Marijuana through the halls and my room wasn't properly cleaned. I only booked this hotel for the pool and breakfast and i didnt get either one of those so i would not recommend this hotel nor would i ever stay there again.

We stayed here for a single night and didn’t feel safe. The manager was encouraging us to hurry up and bring our things inside since it wasn’t the safest area. It’s currently being remodeled and tbh has a long way to go in that case. Our bathrooms toilet and sink were leaking. The towels were old and scratchy. This isn’t a place to sleep in if you catch my drift.

The property was great. The bad experience was through expedia. Expedia did not put my reservation through to this location. I had to wait over an hour for the final outcome to be that I had to get another reservation at the location and cancel the one I got through the app. The hotel was good.

Arrived around 3PM and checked in. Went to room, room had not been cleaned. Back to desk and given another room key - that room had NOT been cleaned either. Third time assigned another room and that was o.k. Went out and when we returned that night, neither key would work. They still had us as being in the first assigned room. Reprogrammed keys and o.k.

It was ok for the money. My husband said the breakfast was great but the room wasn’t the best. Mold in the bathtub n the door for the bathroom wouldn’t shut all the way. The room was large n looked like there was once another bed or sofa on one side of the room but it was empty. N the front desk clerk didn’t know how to change a credit card in the system so they came n knocked on his door n asked for his card again after speaking to the manager. I work at a days inn at the front desk n that is one of the first things you are taught. It just seems strange that you would be the only one working n u don’t know the basics for checking in a guest.

Upon arrival I was made to feel uncomfortable the with the interrogation. He insisted on getting my svc dog credentials. I was in a manual wheelchair he gave me the second to last room farthest from front desk.

My room was never cleaned after the last guest was here. Bedding was on the floor and trash still in the room.My sister had a room near mine and hers was never cleaned either and also had what appeared to be cockroaches scatter when we opened the door. The only positive experience was the front desk guy, he was nice and apologetic.

Checked in and room was not clean. Food left in fridge and used towel hanging on bathroom door. Also after checking in someone tried to buy 150 in credit cards on line with the card I used at desk. Had to cancel the card. Went back to complain and another lady had exact same charge made on her card after checking in. Left and went to very nice doubletree next door. Hopefully can get a refund from Expedia or baymont but not holding my breath.

Lots of garbage in the parking lot including cigarette packs and used condoms. There were also some of the biggest anthills I have ever seen so my husband had ants crawling on his shoes just from the short time unloading a suitcase from the trunk. Large bug above our room door that I was told was a “stink bug” but looked like a cockroach. The entire 2nd floor smelled of stale marijuana and the doors were so thin I could hear people snoring as I walked by. Very outdated bathroom. Breakfast consisted of a waffle maker, cereal and muffins. Even the coffee was bad so we ended up throwing it away and went to a nearby restaurant.

The aesthetics were great upon entering the facility. We were more than disappointed to find that the pool was not available for use. (After speaking to management we were advised WE missed a footnote about that). The hotel was clearly making some updates. The room we stayed in was not the most prepared for guests as none of the lamps nor the fridge was plugged in when we arrived. The cleanliness of our room left something to be desired, but it wasn’t enough to make us leave. Breakfast offered options that fed our family well and the eating area was well maintained.
We normally stay at a Motel and know what to expect however, we were excited for an upgrade and disappointed.
* Management has done a fine job of talking through our issues and we are awaiting the final results from them. We are hopeful our next stay will be remarkable.

Nasty .. i could make a wig with all the hair that was on the ironing board .. bed was stained and nasty, the sprinkler had a rag wrapped around it on the ceiling. Base of the shower was black from the nasty floor, after taking our shoes off and was walking around the room our socks was black on the bottom. Hand prints all over the head board

I was charged a 50.00 deposit for possible damage that still has not been refunded. It has been 6 days.
Wifi was unusable it was so weak.
One side of the toilet seat was unbolted.

Only one entrance unlocked forced a long and tiring trek to my room,{I'm a senior}
Previous occupant's hair was still on the bathtub rim.
