The outlets in the bathroom were not working. So when needing to use the blowdryer, had to use a plug in the room which was an inconvenience. Also in the shower there were hair strands. And on the bedding as well. The room didn't feel as if it was properly flipped over. When checking in we went to eat immediately and saw this after. Called the front desk but it rang and we gave up. Really unhappy with our stay.

Oh my goodness the air conditioning did not work. We were burning up every night in our room. However the front desk lady Lynette I think. Black lady, with Corn rolls to the back is bomb! Very friendly and informative.

Very friendly check-in service. Nicely updated property feels very clean fresh and hip. Only complaint is that my room was facing the freeway, which was a bit loud. I would stay again.

This was our first stay here for a mommy/daughter night out and it was a great experience from start to finish. Upon check in because it was our first visit, Imani at the front desk, waived the parking fee and gave us complimentary access to the 9th floor lounge. Every individual at this hotel was so kind and went out of their way to ensure we had the best service and stay. Small things from individuals greeting my 7 year old daughter to the woman in the lounge offering us complimentary chocolate cake. Breakfast was just okay at the lounge, but still there were a good amount of options. Next time we'll try breakfast in the restaurant. I will definitely be back. Keep up the great service!

I felt as if I was in a jail
Cell. They made us stay in our rooms because there was an event there. The guy Dan that works there even put his hand in our room to shut our door.

The hotel is ok. The front desk staff, apart from the first night, were generally impatient. When I repeated my requests or questions more than one time, the front desk cut me off and said they got it, and that I didn't need to tell them again. Additionally, the cleaning staff forgot to clean the room on the last night of my stay. The restaurant service and food were good. Overall, the worst part is the front desk's attitude, which is very impatient and irritable.

Hotel and room were fine. Breakfast service opened late, no lunch and had to walk about a mile to a dinner. Dinner me u was limited but OK. Had to Uber everywhere as I didn’t have a car. No access to any stores. No morning coffee in the lobby. If u belong to the Marriott club u can access the 8th floor lounge for breakfast. But as a non-member - good luck. Better choice is the hotels in Secaucus.

Convenient location, especially if seeing a show at MetLife. Clean room and common areas. Staff friendly and helpful. Only small complaint was the sewage like smell at night when we got back from the concert. Only noticed it as we stepped out of the elevator on our floor. Didn’t smell it anywhere else.

The cleaning staff knocked on our door at 8am. Checkout wasn’t until 11am. It was inappropriate to wake guests up 3 hours prior to check out.

The Reniassance is my goto hotel near New York. It has a beautiful view of NYC. The area is quiet, safe, close to the highway and New York, where I go regularly to do business.
The staff are some of the most polite and professional people I’ve ever encountered in the lodging industry. That includes the front desk, bar & restaurant and Executive Lounge.

The room was very comfortable and clean.
The only downside was the close proximity to the highway. Even though I was higher up, highway sound still came through.
That being said, I still slept very on a very comfortable bed.

One of the best hotels to stay in near MetLife, Stadium, New York City, and other attractions. The staff on all shifts Are the most professional and attentive of any hotel that I have stayed in in a long time

We stayed at this property for a family vacation 3 days 2 nights and it was pretty good. Tiffany at the front desk went above and beyond and was very courteous and welcoming. Anybody looking to stay with a kiddo, def should look at this place. 6 mins from American dream and MetLife ideal for games or events. Only bad part is extra for parking overnight should be included with stay imo.

Been staying here for years. Neither better nor worse than it’s been. Housekeeping comes by daily and does a good job. NJ Transit to Port Authority just across the street, very convenient.
Overall better than other options in the area.

I liked the breakfast options although it's an extra fee it's worth the price. I didn't like the connecting doors in the rooms, we had to get our room changed in the middle of the night because the room next to us was making noise it and it almost sounded like they were in our room.

I will book here again! My three young children and I had a very comfortable stay. After a day at American dream, the Renaissance is a quick 6 min drive.
The staff were all friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable, quiet, and the thermostat was easy to use! Cute little downtown with shops and restaurants is a 5 min drive.
