We loved our stay here! The beds were comfortable! The room was big enough for us. They were very accomodating. We were able to check in early for $40 pounds extra but so worth it sincexwe wanted to freshen up because we landed at 7am. The staff helped with booking taxis when we needed them and held our luggage and passports so we could tour a little after check out. The only down side might be location away from tourist spots and dining but we used the bus line right outside which got us exactly where we wanted to go.

Lovely area and also excellent Italian meals in your restaurant.
Will definitely stay again
4.3
Excellent service.approachable staff. Great property
4.3
The property was not as advertised at all. Amenities are advertised that do not exist.
Additionally, they do not respect privacy signs on the door and entered without permission when we were out. They did not do anything to rebuild trust.
4.3
Very good all round.

Nice but unremarkable

Staff was great! Room was good for the 3 of us. Liked the area.

Absolutely terrible management! UNSAFE and the staff is absolutely despicable. Do not stay here.
I’ve stayed at dozens of Marriott properties around the world but this was the absolute worst, I couldn’t believe it has the Marriott name. The property is OK and decently situated, but the area around it has gone down. Our room view was a council flat garden with homeless people encamped with all their belongings.
Room windows are sealed shut and it is SUFFOCATING. It was just us (mom and daughter) and at 10 pm at night 3 large men from management came knocking on my door, looking me up and down in my pyjamas and screaming that someone on the floor is smoking, is it you??
I said many bad smells have been coming through the exhaust system (since all windows are sealed shut even on the low floors) like bathroom smells (bad farts and intense poo smells) and also cooking smells.
After they left I was outraged because they should have CALLED instead of entering my room at 10 pm at night.
The reception manager was downright vicious and tried to gaslight me, saying he will check cctv because no one came to my room. I told him to check and also show me, where he backtracked.
I am writing to Marriott Bonvoy to look into this property. Something really strange is going on here.

Reliable Marriott experience at a fair price while staying in London. Easy access on Bakerloo line to central locations within 10-20 minutes. Easy access to St. John's Wood and Maida Vale. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms small but comfortable.

I stayed here for 1 night with my family, whilst enjoying some of Londons tourist attractions.
Lovely clean hotel, only a 5 minute walk from the tube station. Our train arrived early but we were still able to check in to our room. This made a huge difference, thank you for accommodating us.
Our room was very spacious with 2 double beds. Breakfast was also very nice and set us up for a day of sightseeing around London.
I travel to London a lot for work and I would 100% stay at this hotel again.

I stayed at the hotel 8 nights Staff were great , clean hotel, the reason I am giving 1 star because of the bed was so terribly uncomfortable I was not able to get even one good night sleep.

Great place to stay!!!!

Great staff and quiet stat

Spacious room for the 4 of us. Executive lounge was part of the main restaurant. Wasn’t sure at first, but it actually works very well. Seperate area cordoned off with help yourself food, cooked in the restaurant, and beer, wine and soft drinks. Lots of attentive staff as well. Free access to the gym and pool next door, and they were very welcoming of hotel guests.

Friendly and welcoming

Welcomed by reception team, room clean, comfortable and cosy. Great shower with l’occtane toiletries. Coffee machine, hairdryer, iron etc all in room. Parking available on site at extra cost but no spaces so we had to park on nearby road . Great stay overall
4.3
We do not like the area near kilburn train station
4.3
Close to two different rail stops, but inconvenient to sight see quickly. GREAT room. Water pressure in showers were amazing.
4.3
I checked in to be told that I had been upgraded to the top suite in the hotel and breakfast included! When I got to the room it was essentially the same as I had booked and I had already paid for breakfast! The room was actually a disabled room and the shower height was around 5 ft and I am 6 ft 1in. The showered floor was uneven and the bathroom flooded when taking a shower.
I complained but they were not too bothered. If I had been told I had a disabled room and would not be able to enjoy a normal shower than I would not have accepted.
Plus it was definitely NOT and upgrade.
4.3
Beautiful trendy rooms, also very comfortable. The entrance looked stunning with the hanging birdcages, was the weekend prior to Halloween, they decorated the foyer and all staff was is theme, fantastic.
4.3
Check in was a disaster. Due to computer systems being down took 2.5grs to checkin. I had to keep asking for update. No backup plan which could have been so simple.
Lovely hotel shame about first impressions
4.3
After a hiccup relating to the air conditioning, or lack of it on our arrival and a subsequent 3 hour wait to be reallocated to another room our 8 day stay was faultless. Staff could not do enough to ensure our stay was pleasurable. Room was large and clean with a plentiful supply of teas/towels each day. We would probably return to London by car in future however after a disappointing train journey to and from Cardiff - cancelled outbound train so a delay in reaching Paddington followed by the return home train having no catering facilities. The daily parking charge at the Marriott in Maida Vale being the only thing stopping us staying there again. A pity.
4.3
Excellent room size, super clean.
Perfect location for our visit.
4.3
Clean & good size room. Two single beds that were very comfortable. Silent.
4.3
The hotel it self is really nice, room was comfy and decorated well. However there was a black waste pipe that was visible in my room. This had water running through presumably form the rooms above from about 4am. This woke me up and I couldn’t get back to sleep.
I raised my concerns with management at the check out desk, they didn’t seen overly bothered and said they would investigate. I let them listen to a sound recording on my phone to assist in my explanation. I offered them my email address, they weren’t sure why they would need that. I said so they could follow up, so they handed me a scrap of paper and I wrote down my email address.
For £260 for one night I’d have expected a lot better.

Very nice hotel, I loved the automated room features, specially the shower. The rooms are very clean and nice

consider less than 4 stars hotel
Clean enough
Nice staff
4.3
Great state overall. Great location, room was immaculate and updated. Only issue was service in the restaurant
4.3
Nice clean hotel, comfortable beds and pillows. They had chocolate and water for us in the room when we arrived. Really nice toiletries in the bathroom. Only thing weird was one side of the hotel was posh area, other side was a bit questionable. Was close to the train station, but didn’t feel safe to walk to it at night. Breakfast had a lot of choice and was good quality
4.3
Great Property and friendly staff
4.3
Great overall quality for a four star hotel. Very modern, spacious rooms, clean, excellent service, good security, very nice restaurant and bar area. At the intersection of St John’s Wood, Maida Vale and Kilburn, this is a hotel for those with family, an event or other purpose to be in this primarily residential area.
