My friend and I stayed for a girls getaway to celebrate our 40th birthdays (no kids or husbands); The staff went above and beyond with balloons, salt water taffy and more, to help us celebrate this milestone birthday! Not to mention, the hotel is in a great location!! We will be back!!

AMAZING! Everything about this hotel was perfect! It was just a short block from the ferry and was in the middle of all the shopping and restaurants. The staff went above and beyond and I've never had service so great at a hotel. Our room was so cozy and oh so clean! It was perfect! Thank you again and we will be back for sure!

Evelyn is a gem to your established. I told her my husband was celebrating a milestone Birthday the big 60. She surprised us by having a card and a box of chocolate in our room when we returned. I observed her being friendly and welcoming to all the guest in the lobby area. We had a small issue with our room upon checking in but it was quickly resolved and upgraded to our satisfaction that we thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was a bonus touch. It would be nice to add a waffle maker. All the staff members we encountered was friendly and willing to help. We meet Shawya who helped with getting us a tour and offering us an umbrella to use . My daughter loved the umbrella so much that Evelyn give her a new one. We met Audry and the gentleman who helped with bringing our luggage to our room. We loved the location and how it was easily accessible to places to eat and shopping. We would return with more friends on our next trip.

Staff was great. Room was fine, but I unplugged the refrigerator in order to get sleep at night. We booked it because it had a fitness center. Fitness center was great, except I think it should have a sign limiting guests to 30 min. This morning, an entitled guest stayed on treadmill for over an hour. After over 40 minutes, i asked her how much longer, and she said 20-25 minutes. I looked at her incredulously but she didn't care. There's one treadmill, one elliptical and one bike. Breakfast is excellent, really great.

Perfect location for exploring Edgartown and enjoying its many amenities. It’s missing small conveniences like onsite parking and an elevator but more than makes up for it with beautiful spotless rooms, a stellar staff and great breakfast. I’m a solo traveler and it was by all accounts terrific. If you’re mobility impaired it might not be the best choice, otherwise, book it!

Very expensive, due to location, for super tiny room. Checked in on Sunday before summer season and place was almost empty. They still gave us a room on 3rd floor at very end of hall (and no elevator). Some sort of construction below. Pounding and noise woke us every am.

On the positive side, this hotel was right in the heart of the downtown shopping district, walkable to everywhere. The place was friendly and clean. The bed linens were crisp and tight. On the not-so-positive side, the room was very small with no place to put a suitcase. The heater/AC made so much noise I turned it off. The refrigerator also made noise so I unplugged it. The room was not much bigger than a college dorm room, which would have been fine but I paid over $700 for a 2 night stay during the off season when half the stores were closed for the season. I feel the price was about $200 too high for the 2 night stay.

Staff and hotel were very good however this is my second time staying here and again, the TV had two remotes (difficult to navigate) and the connection constantly was lost and regained making it tough to watch any news or show.

Great overall! Wonderful breakfast, clean, comfortable, nice staff, great location. Loved the amenities (beach chairs/towels/bikes/veranda). Didn't love the plastic bottled waters (wish they used a more sustainable option)

The plumbing desperately needs an update. The toilet was constantly draining, and basically non-functional. The staff is not available at night, so we had to use the common restroom downstairs.

We stayed here for our honeymoon after COVID ruined our original tropical plans. We enjoyed MV So much and Vineyard Square was an amazing place to lay our heads at night. We took advantage of the free bikes to bike to some beaches, we played the board games offered in the lobby, and did a lot of relaxing in our cozy bed. The area is perfect, right in the heart of Edgar town. A lot was closed for the season but we still found things to do to take up our week long time on Martha’s Vineyard. We will be back!
