Check in process was easy. Staff was nice. Breakfast burritos were the highlight. Hotel was easy to find, but the room was not comfortable to stay in. There was heavy smell of animal urine before entering the room and inside the room. There was oily hand prints on the headboard.

i was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness - nothing rundown or used-up. pleasant!

Great for the price. Breakfast is always the same burritos, but they are pretty good. One of our sheets had a stain😣, but easily replaced. Noisy neighbors at night made for an interesting experience 😅.

Real surprise for the price! This hotel is no less by all standards than any of $200 per night. Clean, friendly, well designed and furnished.
This will be my spot when in Santa Fe, no doubt!!

Clean and comfortable, fantastic breakfast burrito!

This was a great room for the price point. A little far away from the downtown area, but we had a car. The room was clean and pleasant. It was also fairly quiet. We would consider staying again.

Lots of traffic noise during the night. Our door made a lot of noise as it stuck everytime we opened it. Bed was comfortable, could use some softer pillows. Headboard banged against the wall whenever you sat or repositioned yourself while trying to sleep. No coffee creamers or regular sugar for coffee! Breakfast burritos were good. I would not stay here again.

Had stayed here a few years back and was not impressed but needed a relatively cheap room recently and this one was about the best option location wise and I couldn't have been happier with the updates they've made. Rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was good. Ended up staying a second night because everything was great!

Everything was good. I would recommend to family and friends.

Breakfast is made fresh in front of you. The hotel, while older, is nicely furnished and close to all the things. But it’s service that really wins my 5 stars. A handwritten note from house keeping, the cook making breakfast, the front desk helping with local suggestions, a shuttle to the local sights. It was the little touches that I loved so much

Great stay

The staff were kind, the breakfast was delicious, and there was plenty of parking. We came late, so we got stuck on the ground floor, which was dark, but not too bad. However, there was this consistent sewage smell that would come up quite often in the hallway and sometimes in the room. Also, the property is smoke-free, but you can tell there used to be smoking allowed. The room smelled like old cigarettes. The building is outdated and could definitely use a refresh, but for the price, it was worth it.

Positive first- the staff were amazing! We were traveling with my Father who has some physical limitations and everyone was so helpful and kind. The breakfast, including the staff who prepared everything, were amazing. The reason why i did not give a perfect review was something beyond the control of the day to day staff. My father uses a walker so we reserved a handicap accessible room. There were grab bars next to the toilet and in the shower and a shower chair was in place. The towel bar is hung over the grab bar so on the first visit to the restroom, my Dad didn't even know there was a bar. If you've never assisted someone who requires it for safety, you wouldn't think to hang the towel rack in a different place. The other difficulty we encountered that a standard walker did not fit between the two beds or to the side of either. I am a nurse and I was able to make due, but it could have been a much greater challenge for someone alone or without someone able to assist. I would definitely stay here again because of the amazing team of employees.

The room was not clean. There was mold or mildew at the edge of the tub surround. We saw this after settling in. Something had been spilled or dripped on the window sill and not cleaned. There was dust on furniture supports.
The ramp/ stairway areas are dangerously uneven.
The furniture had gouges and scrapes everywhere. The tile job in the bathroom was awful. The paint/ stucco finishes were poorly executed.
Breakfast is served in a locked room. Why?
The hotel has easy parking and is in a convenient location.

A bit noisy from kid running up and down hallways at 3:00 AM and dogs barking

One night stay on way to Arizona. Big parking lot for truck and cargo trailer. Hot Burrito breakfast. Would stay there again.

As a local needing a stay for a couple of nights, I was quite pleased with this hotel. Reasonably prices, pet-friendly, and free breakfast burritos! What more do you need?

This hotel was an older hotel but it was clean and had everything we needed. We were comfortable for the one night stay.

It is a cute hotel, decorated well modern southwest style. We arrived about 8:30 pm. There was no one at the front
desk. There was a computer kiosk type thing to check in with. We had never done it this way before. It really seemed cold and impersonal with no person there to greet us. The breakfast was ok. Breakfast burritos, with cereal and muffins.

Wonderful! Clean!

For the price of the room it definitely was not up to quality. The facility took a $100 deposit which is fine but their refund policy is 3 to 5 days. I would never stay here again.

Hotel is maintained. Yet restroom is little out dated. Room smelled like cigarette i did notify front desk, nothing was done.
Beds not the best, but I'd say need updating soon, pillows were small and not fluffy at all.

Room was in poor condition and carpets stained/dirty.

We have visited Santa Fe several times. This was our first with Coyote South. We were pleased with the accommodations. We will stay there again.

Check in was easy and simple, the hotel was good for the price although both my drains in the bathroom sink and tub were clogged and overfilled as the water ran. The stucco and paint were messed up around the bathroom and my window did not lock either.

For the money, this hotel is a diamond in the rough. Continue what you do!

The breaksrsts was not good it made me sick

This is basically a slightly redecorated old motel to give it some Santa Fe feel. Nothing special but fine for a quick overnight stay. Easy on and off the interstate.

It was ok for the price. We don’t like the bed which is very soft. The breakfast is good.

The hotel has thick wooden doors on all of the rooms and they are loud whenever they closing them, also you can hear the people in other rooms.

Just a quick overnight. Coffe in room good. Coffee in lobby not so good

I was passing thru and needed a place to stay overnight. I had arranged the room online the night before. My only complaint is the way Mt onboard navigation led me to the place. Way more difficult than it should have been. I know that coyote south has no control over that. Room was excellent and reasonably quiet.

Was a great basic place to stay. Was clean and you can see the owners are making a good effort to repair it, maintain it and bring it up to be an incredible icon. It has potential and the owners see it! It's safe, the burrito breakfast was perfection and it was a wonderfully pleasant stay.

Other than the beat up furniture and the black wall + dark carpet, the room was comfy and convenient. Full breakfast served, plenty of parking, shuttle service to Plaza needs lead time & doesn't run after 8 PM. I didn't have much interaction with staff during my one-night stay there.

We had an amazing day. Everything was perfect would highly recommend.

Very nicely renovated older hotel. Really like the online checkin/out. Quiet. Excellent breakfast burritos! Would stay again

Coyote South suits our needs. It is "bare bones", but the price is right. Close to most of Santa Fe (downtown, restaurants, breweries, grocery, etc.), which is nice.
