Loved our stay. Our room was ground level and walked directly out to the sandy beach of the pool. The pool is incredible for infants and toddlers and older children. They can wade in the shallows and play in the sand. The pool also has pool toys available for everyone to use. Our 1 bedroom apartment was beautifully clean and fresh. It felt modern and had everything we needed for a great stay, including lots of kitchen utensils to cater for ourselves. We also used the gym during our stay and it has all the basic weight and cardio machines you need to do a proper workout. Highly recommend - we'll be back.

Peppers is a great resort but rooms are a little tired but this did not affect our stay too much

This is a $500 a night hotel and the property standard supported that. But what I wasn't expecting were the screaming and unsupervised children from morning until dark. At one point I felt obliged to complain about a particularly bad incident only to be told "..well, it is school holidays you know!" Yes, I did know, but that and the price of $500 per night were contradictory. I am sure ppl will think what a grump I am - but really, it was not good and certainly impacted our own enjoyment.

Very good pool area, needed a bit more music, but understand it’s close to rooms area.
The Gym needs more weights, towels.
Breakfast is good, but not much variety if you stay for longer period.
Bed and pillows, wasn’t the best for us. Bathroom doors didn’t close properly aswell.

Solid beachside choice outside Cairns. Very large suite with all the amenities including full kitchen and laundry room, large terrace with hotter, etc. Nice pool. Separate by a road from the beach, but with the beach in full view, not truly a beachfront property by US standards. Quite affordable by US standards especially considering the size of the suites.

The best family holiday we have had

Room accessibility was poor due to lack of lift access. Views from room were poor with limited sighting front and back due to trees and car parking. More in-house dining options would be of benefit.

My third stay (probably last) at the property. Specifically booked the penthouse Jacuzzi room, and was upgraded to a pool room but the pool was unusable because it's too cold in winter. Very disappointed with that as I would have just booked the base room to be unable to use the facilities.
Also the 'beach club's vibe is gone, 2 X bar tenders had barely anything to do and prices exhoborant (4 pina coladas are $96) so I can see why.
Was told there would be a bottle of wine and drinks vouchers in the room as Accor Silver members. They weren't in there. It would have been better not to say anything if they are not across delivery of these.
I think this might be the last time I'll book which is disappointing as the property has so much potential, and my first stay before COVID was terrific.

Room was large, and location next to the beach was great. But rooms really needs to be updated. Breakfast was closer to 1 than 5 stars. No local produce and limited selection. Waste of money.

Unfortunately we had to cut our holiday short due to a family emergency, we were happy to have credit/new dates for the remaining nights, but unfortunately Expedia or the hotel would not honour this so we lost 3 nights accommodation!

We had a wonderful stay and was warmly greeted by manager Trent when we arrived. The pool and garden's are lush, big and beautiful. Yummy breakfast to finish off our overdue staycation. Thanks Peppers.

We had ants in our room, lights that didnt work. And had a number of people come to our room to fix these problems. I had my 50th birthday make up gifts over $350 worth with me. That were stolen from my room. Never stay here again.

Staff, breakfast, pools and grounds were lovely.
The room was a major let down and expensive for what we got, an Ocean Spa room with a dirty spa and balcony, hardly an ocean more a view of a dirty marquee top.
There was sand or something rough in the bed when we slept when we first go in.
The bathroom light lit up the whole room so could not be used during the night and there are no block out blinds available only venetian shutters that were set at one angle.
We were staying for a special occasion and this was quite a let down.
When i mentioned my concerns at check out, I was just told to write a review, seems like a strange way to keep guests returning by inviting poor reviews.

Very well located but the service is just ok - not helpful and not flexible with rules, even when can flexible to give a very good service without create any problem for the hotel.
Parking, not easy to find the hotel garage.

Unfortunately this hotel really is for families with young children. There was only one pool operating which was not disclosed on Expedia’s website when booking and for the price paid for accommodation was unacceptable. It was like swimming at the zoo at times which wasn’t enjoyable or relaxing. There also seemed to be limited staff although very helpful, and the Buffett was ordinary to say the least especially in a hotel of this calibre

Facilities were really good. Room was ok - outdated bedroom/main area, patio was covered in bird poo..

A very nice experience staying at Peppers.
Many lovely family members in the Beach Pool.
Our room keyed alike suite was to a good standard with a few maintenance items of little consequence being present.
4.0 / 10.0
The place was very tired. Well and truly in need of renovation with the plaster in our toilet room even bubbling off. The bedroom air con didn’t work either and nobody there could repair it. The penthouse outdoor area hadn’t been cleaned from the guests before us. The furniture was very tired as well. Mould in the corners of the shower. It just did not give a good vibe of cleanliness, mainly due to its age and lack of maintenance. It is definitely not worth what they charge but if they can get away with it why not I suppose. It’s very comparable to an average caravan park cabin.
Pool area is pretty good but still, I’ve stayed at a Big 4 park that’s better again.

Great location on a patrolled beach. Short walk to restaurants, cafes, shops, pub and surf club. Relaxed pace and casual vibe.

Lovely large complex very centrally located on the Palm Cove esplanade. Outstanding pools. Downside is the rooms are quite tired. We stayed here directly after staying at Peppers Beach Club in Port Douglas where the rooms have been refurbished and the difference was stark. We wouldn't stay here again until the hotel is refurbished. Also some small oddities - like only one chair on the balcony which was a little strange for a room obviously designed for a couple.

I was so excited to stay here but I was let down. No bathroom towels and when I called to request them, I felt like I was being questions of that was true.
The complex was very noisy, serenity pool was not quiet due to the music and kids screaming coming from the main po. Overpriced breakfast, just go up the street to the cafes.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay although the resort is very large and we felt more suitable to families rather than mature aged couples. It was quite noisy at times. The staff were helpful and the room clean and spacious.

The place is dated and it is really due for renovation.

Shocking. For Eg the only switch on the bedside light was at the power point. One of the worst managed hotels I have stayed in after decades of world travel. A disgrace. I want my money back.

Lovely resort with everything we could have needed. Clean room that was well equipped. The main pool was lots of fun with the swim-up bar, but during school holidays it could get very busy and noisy - this was when we enjoyed using the Serenity pool which was very quiet, relaxing and out of the way. The day spa and massages were also relaxing and soothing. We were already aware that there were no lifts to the upper floors, and this wasn't a problem at all (the staff offered to carry our bags up, but we were fine on our own). The resort was in walking distance to multiple restaurants, and a short bus ride from a Coles. Will hopefully be back again.

Service was amazing and all staff we spoke to were helpful. The hotel is well designed and very comfortable rooms. Is getting a fraction old but is well payed out. We used the carpark underneath with no issues.
