Although my experience was average, comparing this visit to other Residence Inns, I would have to say I was somewhat disappointed with the breakfast offered, as well as I had to continue to put water in the toilet tank in order to flush. We were only spending one night and we discovered this issue after we had unpacked and got settled. I am sure we would have been offered a different room however, the site was full as a home football game was being played and we did feel like packing the kids up to go to another hotel so we just dealt with it and did not report the issue to hotel staff.

My granddaughter loved the pool DAILY lol, the library where she printed coloring sheets, the fitness room, and the all day access to coffee lol.
As long as she was happy, I was happy.

We love staying here because: we can set the thermostat to our liking. The staff is friendly & professional. The rooms are large & comfortable.

Our room did not have hot water for 2 days. We were told by staff that it would be taken care of by maintenance 3 separate times. We were out and about quite a bit and came back to the room after 11:30 pm each of those nights. We finally were offered to switch rooms on the final night to a room with hot water. Tuwanna was the staff person who finally got something done and she was great. The rest of the staff just dismissed our complaint and request. I feel like i should receive a full refund for this room given the fact that we had to take cold showers for 2 of the 3 days we were there!

The room was decent. Only complaint is I wish we were able to go lower than 68 on the thermostat. There was 5 of us in a room which made it hot.
I will like to say Ms. Nae at the front desk was soo enjoyable. As someone who works in the hotel industry, she was very respectable. Every nice. My kids loved talking to her. I would give her a 5 stars.

This property is showing its age. Carpets are stained and bulking, the bedding is older, kitchen appliances are dated, etc. For a non-game weekend, it is close enough to campus which makes it desirable. You can walk to Starbucks, Whole Foods and other restaurants which is a big plus. Also a plus, unlike the numerous hotels located on I-10, this one does not have noisy traffic all night long.

To start is was a awesome location around good restaurants and coffee places. Friendly staff (seemed like the same lady all weekend though at the front).
But the A/C must have went out on our floor and mostly in our room on the final night. Outside or room our floor was muggy feeling compared to the first floor. Our room thermostat was set to 70 but said 74 and seemed to be like 80. We notified the staff and she said she would get some one there, but no one came by the time of our check out.
I would recommend the hotel due to its location and over all accommodations. It was just a bad night experience that I felt I shouldn’t have paid full price for. I feel like something could have been done to at least make it up.

We’ve stayed here several times and the service has gone downhill every time. This last trip, on our last day, WE were blamed for THEIR housekeeping not touching our room for 5 days. When my husband politely notified management of this and other general issues around the hotel (the men's room off the lobby was out of soap the entire time we were there), the general manager was completely indifferent. Then housekeeping knocked on our door seconds later to confront us and said since we’d been getting towels ourselves, they didn’t need to touch our room. They said they’d clean the room for us on our last night (wow, great for the NEXT customer), but when I asked for something more tangible, like a comp’ed night, the GENERAL MANAGER told me that wasn’t within her capability and it was all just a misunderstading. Unbelievably piss poor service, what happened to the “customer is always right” (even though we flat out were right in this instance)?!?

It quiet and comfortable. However when I arrived after dinner, every handicapped parking spaced was occupied with vehicles with no handicapped parking permits. Luckily I found a parking space near the side entrance near my room.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Had two issues. When the compressor in the refrigerator came on it sounded like a jet plane taking off. The noise extremely loud. Ultimately, I had to turn the refrigerator off at night in order to sleep. I reported the issue to management but the problem was never addressed. Also, and I understand it's a residence for long term stay and housekeeping doesn't occur on a daily basis but we were there 6 nights and the garbage was only emptied and clean towels offered once.

Will stay again. I have never been to a
Marriott and been disappointed and this location was no exception.

The hotel is convenient but that’s the best thing I can say about it. Very dated , unkept, and the staff would not answer calls or offer assistance. Had people pounding on the floor above all night and staff did not address the problem or allow me to move rooms. 3 1/2 hours sleep at a huge cost of 400 per night due to other hotels being occupied

My wife and I booked a room at the hotel to celebrate Valentine's Day, mainly because it had a fireplace in the room. After checking in and unpacking, tried to light the gas fireplace and it didn't work. When notified of the problem the desk clerk replied "Oh,none of the fireplaces work and haven't for many years". The website advertises the fireplaces with pictures of them glowing with flames but they are all a lie. Don't waste your money looking for atmosphere here. Also the suite had many forks, 1 tablespoon and 2 knifes in the kitchen drawer. Glad we didn't want to cook and dine in. The free breakfast was pre packaged items and the only thing served hot was a pot of oatmeal and coffee. The coffee was good.

Even though pet friendly, thought the $75.00 charge was high to just have my daughter bring her dog over even when she wasn’t staying with us. Not sure if that is a per stay charge or a daily charge because we only stayed one night

Really, the only drawback was that guests down the hall were frying fish and it made our suite smell like fried fish. Not in a good way. The location was great for walking to restaurants. We love Zea Rotisserie nearby.

4th floor has periodic hot water! My husband both had to take cold showers because the water after running for over 15 minutes never got hot. Magically everytime maintenance came up to check on it; it got hot.. they blamed it on us being on top floor, smh. $300 a night for cold water

The suite is nice but it had a weird smell in the room like something died. I Lysol & sprayed sir freshener which helped. I have to call the hotel because my receipt total is not what I was charged on my credit card statement. Overall it was a decent stay & met my needs for my son’s birthday gathering.
