Original room was on the ground floor right across from the cooridoors for people. Mattress hurt my back and was very thin, tv did not work, showers were VERY tiny for adults, nightlight on one side did not work, and you could hear everything from the lobby, elevators, and all the other rooms. Since the windows looked right into a walking space, you could not leave any curtains open for any lighf without giving up your privacy. Even if you could manage to squeeze into the shower, you could not raise your arms to wash your hair. I gave up and opened the shower door to discover the bathroom floor had lots of water. I went to the desk to inform them of the issues and was just given towels to try and make the floor not slippery and dangerous. The sleep in this room was the worst ever due to issues. We changed rooms the next day after lots of resistance from the hotel. This room had a bathtub instead of the tiny shower and even had shower caps, which did not exist in our original room. This room had a thin mattress, but it was slightly more comfortable than the first. This room was the same size, but just laid out different. The room was still very noisy as you felt you were a part of every conversation in other rooms and in the cooridoors. We, at least, got some light in this room, but the tv only had five (at most) working channels. We voiced our concerns about the two rooms not being anywhere close to how they were advertised and met with silence.The hotel ignored every attempt

Enjoyed the stay. Good water pressure for shower. Internet good. Standard room small. girl at front desk nice. Close to center city and Christmas market. Nice time.

Stayed here for one night. Lovely stuff and the hotel felt true to the original old town aesthetics. Walking distance to everything you are in riga for and a 2min walk from the bus stop that will take you to and from the airport

The hotel had facade construction going on which was not nice. The elevator never came to our floor (6th) regardless how much you click and wait I was not given the room or a similar one to the one in the photo

Difficult stay. Was given room 316. It’s located in the staircase. Very strange. The WiFi did not reach that room very well at all. Often had no WiFi. The room was much smaller than I selected on hotels.com. Was moved to the room type I book for the second night. It was the size I had booked. Wi-Fi worked well. This hotel needs to update all its traditional rooms. They are feeling very dated.

Fine stay. The location is perfect. Backyard for parking. Politely employee in the reception. The hotel and rooms is what the title says “old” - but there is everything you need. Breakfast was horrible.

Nice property but over priced. Room was too small, I could not place a chair between the bed and the desk.alao, the room location involved taking the stairs to get to another elevator. In addition, the staff manually entered my credit card information in the system as a security deposit for mini bar usage. I wouldn't stay there again.

An amazing hotel, helpful and kind staff. The location of the hotel is central and convenient to reach both bus station and the airport. We will definitely back when we visit Riga again.

The hotel itself is very nice. My room felt small but was perfectly fine. The hotel makes use of the existing architecture and retains some original features. The location is excellent and feel very safe.

Got a room on first floor, people from the street could easily see in. The room smelled wired until AC was turned on. The counter top in the reception was so high so the people working there didn’t greeted you when you came in. Paying for breakfast was unnecessary. Nice pillows and blanket and great with the iron in my room.

Fantastic price for good-size rooms and extremely-walkable distances to interesting old town landmarks. We barely had to use any public transit to get around it was so well-located, so it was extremely convenient and a great value for an interesting old building!

Breakfast was excellent, as was the desk help. Might need a little refreshing, as the bed creaked with every move, and the carpet looked as it’s seen some wear. But overall, thriller with my stay.

No access to bed from sides and had to crawl in from bottom, tiny shower and very little room to move, shower seal worn and flooded floor, no sachets of coffee anymore, tiny tv with 3 stations not worth watching, breakfast average. Won’t use this hotel again.

Average hotel in a great location just at the outskirts of old town. Walking distance from bus/train station as well as all major sightssl. Do not expect a four star hotel though. Rooms and service are good enough but breakfast is a disaster.

Just fine. Walking distance to the old town, shopping center and bus terminal. Breakfast is ok. The room is clean. Noise can be heard from the flushing of water pipes. Also the noise from outside. They have earplugs ready in the room when we checked in though.

Good location, close to old town. We were a group of friends, booked 5 rooms. Some rooms are very small, in two of them the fridge was not working. No cleaning or change if towels or removal of garbage during our stay. It seems that you need to ask for the service. We found dirt and garbage (empty bottle) under the bed from previous tourists. Breakfast was buffet, good variation but same products every day. It is ok for a short stay but not for longer.

Just a basic property parking was available but not easily accessible do to large cobbles… quaint but you need to carry your luggage as the cobbles will make it impossible to roll luggage ok for me but I think elderly folks should stay aeay

Great welcome, friendly and helpful staff with excellent English. Hotel and room corresponded to expectations, cozy and traditional, and well located in center not too noisy. Mattress needs replacing but other amenities fine. Would return again!

Everything excellent except the room stank of fresh cigarette smoke the entire time, I stayed 4 nights and it was as if someone was smoking in the room while I was out. Nearby hostels had young people constantly who screamed into the nights. Tub had a leak somewhere at the bottom and flooded the floor constantly. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall atmosphere is okay. Location is good.

I wasn't as close to things as Expedia said, but still pretty close. The staff was nice. You can here theough the walls on the new part and it sounded like a ghost. Lol. I would stay here again. Breakfast was okay.

Overall I like raw hotel a lot , it’s nice and in a convenient location. The big disappointment was the Wi-Fi not working in the new part of the building , no one fixed this or seemed to care that much even though the room stated Wi-Fi included. It was a shame there was no bacon over the 3 days for breakfast.

Shower very small, for 100 kg man and 1.90 tall not much place, Bed in picture after booking and in room looks tottaly diferent, room is quite small, but i like reception and service. Stayed 1 night. Thanks

This property wasn’t 4 Star property..!! Table in room was broken, Cop bored ripped and damaged everywhere.! Breakfast was not to bad but the butter, marmalade, jam was put on each single jar bad hygiene..!! Only 2 small sugars put near coffee matching again every one once was touching with their dirty had as keep coming to pick one after other as they was still eating their breakfast disgusting.. !!! I reported to the receptionist and tell them I won’t have breakfast tomorrow but they sims doesn’t bother to them..!! Over all the locations was brilliant very handy to public transport and old town..
