A lovely place in a quiet village. Everyone was very nice, service was great, morning breakfast was fast and tasty. We arrived for check in a little late and entered through the pub… The bar tender was also the concierge. We stayed in the carriage house and had the company of a very friendly pair of cats! Relatively close to Bru Na Boyne if your intent is to see Newgrange and Knowth.
Only things you should be aware of:
The nearest gastro pub is a little over 2 miles away.
Don’t be put off by the drive through the dodgy end of Drogheda, Termonfeckin is a lovely town

Stafff was quite helpful, but there was no staff to turn keys in to in the morning. Had to find one of the waitstaff. Also, never could get the wi-fi connection to work

Interesting place to stay. Note they only do breakfast

You have to call reception to get through a gate to the property. A seemingly grumpy lady came out and let us in. A nice young man checked us in but the information he gave us about local restaurants was incorrect.
The TV in our waterside room work on and off (bad signal?) and the WiFi was nonexistent which was very frustrating.
The room was clean and had all the usual amenities except face towels (flannels or washcloths).

Flynns has lots if charm, has been beautifully renovated and the staff is gracious and charming. It’s the perfect location to explore Newgrange and come back and be close to an expansive beach at Seapoint.

Unfortunately we were not there long enough to appreciate all the Flynn has to offer. We arrive at 8:30 PM and it was getting dark. We entered through a door from that parking lot that leads through a tavern that has a heavy smoke smell. No one was available at the reception. We were able to get our key and sign in. There is only a narrow stairwell and hall which was challenging to manage heavy luggage. We were able to park in a beautiful gated courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious enough for our short term need. Overall the building is charming and the location is wonderful. A rural, quiet location about 45 minutes to the airport

Very good one night stopover on our way South - all staff very friendly and helpful, room fab and location perfect. Talk to me about scrambling those eggs though… 8-)

We very much enjoyed our stay with Flynn’s of Termonfeckin. We were warmly welcomed by the whole team. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful, served by friendly staff.
Flynn’s is a great base to explore Ireland’s Ancient East. The only challenge is that there is nowhere to eat in Termonfeckin which is a shame, it’s a lovely, historic town with a beautiful beach. Having to drive to next town for a meal is a disadvantage and the choice is limited - however we loved our fish and chips at Clogherhead harbour with wonderful views.

I stayed in the cottage, which on the main floor has a kitchen with frig, oven, sink, dishes, and the sitting room, dining table, with TV and pullout couch. upstairs was a good size bedroom & attached bathroom; very comfortable queen size bed and great water pressure in the shower. i wouldn't call it luxury boutique but the cottage was comfortable with a private entrance. breakfast was great, the location was very nice, walkable area, as well as a nearby golf course; excellent private parking, and it was reasonably close for access to the motorway and many sights as well as to Northern Ireland.

The property was ok but not great. It did not live up to the high rating posted on Expedia. Much of the property is dated. The dining room was closed. The bar area smelled heavily of cigarette smoke and the promised breakfast was not available until after 8:30 AM. Too late for those needing to make an early morning flight. The value of firms like Expedia is that they provide honest up to date reviews that people can trust. Expedia failed to do this!

The photos don't do the property justice. It is gorgeous! One mile from the beach which was also lovely. The only negative was that there was no dinner available so we had to walk to a market for sandwiches. Otherwise it was perfect, including the family of ducklings under our window.

We had accommodations for our family of 4, which was perfect. Our girls had their own bedroom with twin beds. We had a very comfortable queen bed. There was tea and coffee in the room. Rooms are arranged around a courtyard. The beach is a 20 minute walk, or a 5 minute drive. We had to leave before breakfast was served and Mrs. Flynn was lovely to get us fruit, cereal, cakes, and milk for us to have in our room. Lovely hospitality!

Amazing stay at Flynns. Staff are brilliant and very accommodating. We travelled with our dogs and it's one of the best dog friendly hotels we stayed in. Will definitely be back!

This beautiful hotel is a hidden gem. It was formerly the village pub and has been converted to a hotel but also enlarged significantly. There are cottages at the back of the hotel within a gated courtyard. There is a nice pub in the hotel as well, and Jonathan the barman/receptionist/breakfast chef is a very nice person and really helpful and friendly.

We loved our stay at Flynn’s! It is a lovely, quaint, clean facility, a bit off the beaten path. It was the perfect place to start our visit in Ireland.

The property was very clean and very nicely set-up. There was ample space and the second bedroom was setup with two separate twin beds. The morning breakfast was fantastic, especially the fresh local yogurt. You could tell the owner/operator took pride in their place and he was very pleasant to speak with and offered great advice on local places to eat. The on site bar was also a great place to end the day with a night cap.

Rooms were not ready at 3:15 for a 3:00 check in...seemed to be confusion with my 3 rooms booked...ended up not checking into property and forfeiting the entire booking and headed down to Dublin and stayed at The Westbury instead

Little treasure in a unique location. Impeccably designed family room. Plenty of space, comfortable bed and nice reception area. Only complaint was that we looked to be the only guests and the continental breakfast selection was very sparse compared to our other stays. Overall a very good choice to stay

Very friendly service, very clean, location perfect for us as we needed to be near Drogheda, breakfast was fabulous. Room was spacious and beds were very comfy. The only difficulty we experienced in Termonfeckin its self was lack of phone coverage. I'd still stay here again though. Loved it.

We arrived in Flynn’s of Termonfeckin on the Saturday the 3rd around 5pm. We like to relax for a few hours in the bedroom before we go out for a meal. We were buzzed into the premises by an unfriendly woman. On entering the premises it was freezing cold all the radiators were turned off. It was a very cold day outside 0 degrees .The woman brought to to our room and it was freezing cold as well , the radiator was not working. She told us she would check what was wrong and would come back to us. We sat in the freezing room with our coats on and after a half an hour my wife went to find her and had to walk through a busy bar. She asked her what she was going to do about the room and she told her she would send a heater up to the room. I also informed her that our room was booked with a river view . Our room has a small back yard view. She sent a heater up with a young lad and she came to to our room a while after that and informed us that our booking was not a river view. I showed her my booking and she told me that she did not get this information from Expedia. She also told that the rooms with the river view were more expensive than what we paid, and none of these rooms were available. I told her that I would take this matter up with Expedia on Monday. The portable heater in the room was not good enough and eventually she moved us to a room that had heating on. The time was 7pm which wasted all our relaxing time. All through our stay the only place that was warm was the bar,
