Decent hotel in good location for subway links, World Trade Centre etc
1.5 / 5.0
I used to love this hotel for my work trips, but they have taken away so many amenities. You can't even get a cup of hot water to make tea or instant coffee with... their response? "Use hot tap water." However the house clearers are very friendly and professional.

Location is great, but the hotel itself was flattered by the photos it's using! Rooms are worn and public areas not particularly tidy or in great repair.
However, beds clean and very comfortable, great view.

Didn’t like the mood llighting. Found it very disorientating.
No coffee in room. No restaurant in bldg.

I recommend when checking in customers be notified that their room cards needs to used for the elevator and to power electricity in their rooms. I stood in the dark because I could not figure out the power situation. Had to use the flashlight on my phone to see what to do.

This was a very nice hotel. Check in was easy and having to swipe your card for the elevator is an added protection. Check in is on the 5th floor and then a separate elevator for the rooms which was confusing for some people but an added safety precaution so people from the street or bar could not make their way up to the rooms easily. The first floor and fifth floor were very dark which does not feel safe late at night or early morning. A bit expensive but not compared to other hotels in the area... A great area close to everything so worth it.

Not sure where to start. When we arrived, 2 hours earlier than their check in, we were told there's a 50$ early check in fee which i paid however with the key they offered a flyer that talks about holding bags just for 2$ a bag....that would have been 42$ cheaper. We took bags into the room and went on to explore righ away since we had a tour scheduled with in an hour. Once we got back to the room it was around 9. Went to take a shower and it smelled stale and like theres mold growing, sure enough there was a big mold spot on the ceiling and smaller areas around it. Called front desk 3 times, no answer. Next day we mentioned it at the front desk, we were told they are sold out and well need to talk to the manager , he'll reach out to us 8-9 am. Next morning we didnt get a call, called myself. Manager said he needs to see whats available and will call back. After 20 min or so my husband went to the front to see whats the deal. He said the manager didnt even come out to talk to him about the issue. We were moved to a different room, higher floor, which was nice however there was still mold on the ceiling, less but pressent with little fly like bugs flying in the shower. Also the new barhroom had a matted wall from the shower to the room. Very odd veture to have when you are traveling with 2 older daughters. No privacy. This was aweful experience, decided to continue with the room, mold might be their issue in every bathroom. Didnt want to miss out on planned activities.

Good location in the downtown

View is great. The room definitely has flaws in the finishes. Bathroom arrangement is not great, toilet doesn't give enough room with sitting normally with the toilet paper holder infringing. Water pressure for shower was great. Tv remote was very fussy using netflix.

Everything was fine except there was inefficient bathroom mirror lighting . I had to shave in the dark.

I was happy with the hotel and room, but was very unhappy with the attitude from the front desk staff. We arrived early so I walked up to the desk and simply asked if there was any possibility of checking in early. I knew the odds were low and a simple, “I’m sorry we don’t have any rooms available” was already expected. Instead I was ignored for some time, then received an answer with an annoyed tone and look. Made me and my travel buddies feel very awkward and upset. We waited in the lobby until check in time, but kept on getting weird looks from the staff. Made us feel very unwelcome.

Excellent service

The hotel was pretty average, it doesn’t look like the pictures online and it’s a very dark, depressing hotel. The bar wasn’t in service and it just seemed really outdated. The lights can only be turned on using your keycard but we had trouble keeping them on so we just used the lamps. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, me and my 2 sisters slept comfortably in it. One of the receptionist tried to charge us an extra $100 for late check out, even though Jose said it was only $50 up until 1 PM. It’s cool for a quick trip but I probably wouldn’t stay again.

Amazing views, very pleasant staff, bedding was super comfortable, housekeeping was a doll, located just steps from one world observatory. Missed having a bar and food in the hotel but other than that, highly recommended!!!

It was dirty, noisy and the hotel didn’t even sell bottle waters. I paid for 2 nights in advance and only stayed for 1 night. I‘m so angry. I lost my money. The Marriott right next door is much better.

The hotel was good except there was a funny smell in my room and I could hear people in the halls really well

It was a pretty good Hotel overall. Needed some work here and there. They have a bar, but is empty they need to open the bar at the 5th floor so guest can enjoy a drink or two. The hallways smelled like someone was always smoking. The hotel is located in a beautiful location, but does need better customer service.

I stayed this past weekend with my life partner for our anniversary. Everything was clean. The view we had was gorgeous. The staff was kind. We had a ton of food and shopping options because everything was walking distance. We had a picture perfect view of the freedom tower and of the reflection pools. We had an overall good time.
