The hotel has a great location, but it is very noisy and the bed is not too comfortable. I think I would only stay here just purely for the location and fair price.in addition not great for a light sleeper. Road is quite noisy.

We stayed in a King room which, for a NYC hotel room was relatively spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room had everything we needed, with the exception of coffee provisions.
The staff were all super friendly and helpful.
For us, the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do and see in NYC.
Would stay here again.

Check-in was easy and the customer service was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The shampoo and conditioner was excellent and I enjoyed the robe and slippers being available. The elevators were working the entire 3 night stay and were quick to arrive. I enjoyed the location which was pretty quiet without a lot of foot traffic or tourists.

Friendly service and good location

called to request a late check out and was told "you need to get out now". Staff member repeated "get out" multiple times and called the room before check out time to threaten charging a half day fee if i was late.
I travel for work and have never been spoken to so poorly. Manager on duty was not receptive to my complaint and instead repeatedly told me their policy instead of listening to my complaint surrounding the way i had been spoken to.

Location, location, location. The Nolitan is the perfect location. This is our second stay at the Nolitan and we would have to say we felt this stay was lacking. The room needs serious upgrades, ripped carpets, non working lights, spotty WiFi. Cracked floor tiles and the pillows/bed were less than comfortable. Front desk staff and kind/attentive.
If you are looking for a hotel for a short stay within walking distance to Little Italy this is the perfect location. However for the price point we would not return unless we knew the rooms were improved.

We initially had an issue with a very noisy air conditioner and after an attempted to fix this, we were given another room and a bottle of bubbles as compensation for bed night's sleep.
We would particularly like to thank Sarah for resolving this issue.
Would stay again.

If you’re confused about staying here based on the other reviews like I was prior to booking then read this in its entirety and you’ll be able to make a better informed decision.
If you’re expecting this place to look like the photos then you will be disappointed. The hotel looks like it has not be updated in any way since it opened. The furniture in the room was dusty, mismatched and the pillows were flat as a piece of paper. If you’re a fan of modern hotels or updated hotels then this was not be for you.
If you’re traveling here for a long period of time and plan to work using their WIFI then don’t even think about it. I stayed here for almost a week and from Day 1 it was unreliable.
PROS: This hotel is in a great location. You can conveniently walk to a lot of local diners, bars and shopping. The balcony and the staff were the best parts about this property.
I personally would not stay here again, but thank you to the amazing staff that were always so helpful.

Unkept, well overpriced for value, many tv channels ESPN etc. were unavailable because hotel has not maintained or paid their subscription...

Initially when we arrived we were shocked at how small our room was even though we had chosen the better option.
Also first impressions were that it appeared dingy and not super clean.
Upon making some requests at reception for extra towels and pillows and for some things to be fixed (a faulty ironing board) we returned to find everything corrected and our room cleaned.
Really for the price it was fine and I love LES so once we got out and about and found our groove we were quite happy.
Great deli across the road , Russ and daughters just down the street .
Easy to get to subway and to walk to some great areas.
Biggest problem was no where to put suitcases.
But we had a balcony and loved it .

The location was good front desk helpful
The halls were dark. The bed was comfortable. And room had an interesting industrial design but was adequate. i had trouble finding outlets next to bed. Regulating thermostat and with tv remote and signal.

The location of this property can't be beat! Right in the heart of great food and shopping and close to multiple subway lines. Our room with a balcony was awesome! The higher rooms facing Kenmare have a fabulous view of the Empire State. The room was clean and a good size for NYC. Room came with ironing board, robe, fridge and a yoga mat . Only bummers: lobby furniture was worn and the free bikes were broken and supposedly awaiting repair.

wifi was on and off, which made it difficult to complete work. A few days there was no coffee. some furniture was worn, such as side tables. AC was great and Beds were comfortable. Loved the Aveda products. Great location. Manager was gracious to discount due to wifi and coffee issues.

Great experience, staff was super nice and helpful, my room was great. Best sleep I’ve had in months actually.

It’s a decent place for an overnight stay, convenient location and a straight subway ride from grand central. The bathroom set up is very weird, but that’s NYC hotels for you. The mattress though, unsure if you can even call it a mattress. Paper thin and thin pillows to go with it.

Underwhelmed by the location, size of room, and limited amenities. My child wanted to return home the same night… says a lot..

Don't be fooled, this pig has lipstick all over it. From the ever-absence of the front desk staff, to the concrete slab of springs as a mattress, this property puts the 'NO' in "Nolitan." My back is still stiff as a board, days later.

We had a great stay here! We absolutely loved the location and all the great bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel. It has a very awesome vibe and we will surely stay there again!

I loved the location. This lively neighborhood has a variety of restaurants, delis, expert coffee shops, clothing boutiques, scent shops, and bakeries.
The hotel has seen better days but it was comfortable and stylish. There was a bit of trouble with the TV. Someone needs to know how to re-start the server.
The housekeeping staff was excellent; quick, prompt, and effective. (Best I've seen since 2020.)
Overall, it was a great experience.

They simply miss the details. Ironing board was broken. Light over vanity was burnt out. Mini bar was not stocked. Front desk staff was pleasant but glued to their phones.

Very good, reasonably priced hotel in Nolita. The balcony rooms are great, but try to get one on a higher floor for a better experience. Staff were friendly, the lobby was comfortable and the morning coffee was excellent. Rooms were average-sized for NYC. Very quiet, considering the location. I was hoping to check out the roof top bar, but it was closed for construction.

First, great location. Lobby is cool but the room was very dated. Not the level of boutique hotel I expected.

The location of the Nolitan is fantastic. There are lot of pros for this hotel: You have restaurants, shopping, walking, people-watching, the subway, and easy taxi/uber snags at your fingertips. My room was clean and comfortable. The shower was nice. I was grateful to have a room with a balcony to take advantage of the weather while having some privacy.
My number one issue on the cons list is their wifi. I needed to work from the hotel for two full days and had to use wifi from my iPhone in order to have reliable video calls. This was a major issue. I called the front desk and they said there would be an engineer bringing a wifi extended to my room in thirty minutes, but he never arrived.
I would not feel comfortable suggesting this hotel to anyone who is working while traveling.

Excellent location. Right next to a multitude of wonderful restaurants and shops. Excellent deli across the street btw.
