We had a lovely short stay at the Mason Arms. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food in the pub and breakfast were fantastic. Room was clean and spacious, and we were delighted to find robes and slippers offered.

It has always been a good place to stay with excellent meals. The landlord and staff always make one feel very welcome and now with the extra covid regulations are doing a very good job and are very thorough with the extra cleaning etc.

Very nice place. Even though bar was shut in evening on a Tuesday, staff were all too willing to help

A truly lovely place to stay - couldn't fault anything - hope to return again soon.

My stay at the Masons Arms was for business. I was impressed by the cleanliness and professionalism of all the staff who clearly have worked hard to implement a robust Covid-19 action plan that is effective, comforting and sensible. Great Work.

Easy to find in a nice rural village. Staff were most helpful and pleasant. GREAT food - highly recommended. The Odcombe micro brewery is located in part of the Inn building and produces several very good real ales.

We were in town for a wedding up the road, so chose Masons Arms to be close by. The staff was great, the area was quiet and picturesque. Every person we met who was also staying were return customers or locals, speaking to the type of business they ran. Great time!

Great pub with character. Good food and drinks. Micro brewery beers. Good rooms and service.

We wanted to stay two nights as we were attending a family wedding close by. However, the hotel could only offer us one night, which we took. The hotel was a gem of a place in a very pretty village. The rooms, staff and food was outstanding and faultless. The breakfast choice and quality was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay and would loved to have stayed longer.

Comfortable room with ensuite facilities and a good parking area situated off a quiet country lane. Pub menu is small but interesting sadly they werent able to provide much of a selection for someone with special dietary needs even though wed emailed ahead to check they would be able to cater for us!

Stayed here during a business trip. Staff were very friendly and room had free WiFi, food was good and real ale from the micro-brewery, ticked all the boxes. One small issue with room was resolved immediately, excellent customer service, very attenitve. Highly recommended.

Nice friendly staff and lovely food. However, Wifi didn't work in the room so you had to go to the bar. Lighting in the room and the bathroom was so dim that you couldn't see to read or put makeup on. All the lights seemed to be very low wattage. We could hear the TV in the room next door and then kept being woken up by the same person snoring!!
That being said we would stay here again, as these were all relatively small irritations.

The hotel was pleasant enough and in a nice location, for the price paid though it was not good value.
The room was good but being on the ground floor meant leaving windows open was a security option, this made the room quite hot.
The restaurant was pleasant but the food quite bland for the price, also expensive at £22 for a 10oz steak.
Would I recommend this, yes its fine but as stated quite expensive for the room and restaurant.

Room and bathroom were lovely and dinner and breakfast where as good as it gets.

We stayed at the Mason's Arms as it's just round the corner from Brympton D'Evercy estate where our friends were getting married. The owners and their staff were great hosts and made sure we had everything that we needed. The room was very nice and spacious, with a good-sized bathroom. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. If you stay here, do make sure that you try the food (amazing for a 'pub') and the beer from the microbrewery, also located at the Mason's Arms. A beautiful village that it's set in, too.
