Wonderful hotel in Galway city, a block from the square.
Great view from our apartment, overlooking the river. Plus had parking, which we needed.
Check in is a little weird - you need to go to another hotel a block away (no parking there on busy street) but it was fine - you just need to know beforehand but we were behind the 8 ball as I imagine they sent instructions but I missed them.
100% woyld recommend this place for short stay or even weeks.

Basic accommodation in a great location with allocated parking. Ideal for our 1-night stay, but the rooms are in need of a deep clean and a refurbishment.

Very comfortable clean and value for money... very central.

Our three night stay at Citypoint Apartments was very nice. The apartment was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. The secure parking garage was a great bonus. Given it's central location, we found plenty of shopping and dining options a short walk away. The only minor drawback was a occasional noise from the street below, which is normal given the location. I'll definitely look at staying there again on my next trip to Galway.

Very spacious lodging on top of a department store that had great views of the city. Just 2 blocks from Eyre square and just a few more to Galway Cathedral

Very nice apartment with a nice view, really enjoyed our short stay.

Great location. Walking distance to the train station, Eyre Square, all the good restaurants and stores in the walking area.

Loved everything about the apartment! Will recommend to anyone I know traveling to Galway.

Amazing Views. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine.
The floor was sticky, and the blinds in the bathroom were filthy.

The property was great. Staff was really good. Communication around check-in and parking was a little disappointing. Beds were just okay. Would stay there again for sure.

Spacious apartment, safe property and nice city views from balcony. Very difficult route and traffic driving to the check in location and then to the apartment. No parking at check in property but secure parking at apartment.

Hotel was within walking distance of Galway’s sights. Kind of a pain that the check in and check out were at a different hotel (more difficult when you are driving a rental car here). The apartment was large and fairly comfortable.

This was a good value. Not a “luxury” experience but certainly clean, comfortable, and safe. My family of four was comfortable there. The communication was very good, and we felt supported. I would recommend these accommodations for the value.

Was a great location to explore Galway. The check-in process was a little confusing, as you check in next door to the actual property, but the staff was helpful and friendly. Very walkable to everything, lots of great shopping, food options, and a very nice apartment.

Place as pretty worn down and no AC. Beds are small and bathroom has a lot to be desired. The property was not clean and had a bad odor. I would not recommend.

Loved this apartment. Lots of space incredible views and an easy walk to everything Galway.

To park and check in at the Western hotel was a challenge without knowing what to expect. Fortunately the Citypoint has someone there to help us on parking.
The room is very clean, got washer and dryer was a big plus and help, otherwise everything is just very basic. I think the property could add a little upgraded items to make it more welcoming, like a nicer bedding. bed skirt….

Good location, but somewhat confusing check in process when arriving by car. The place is just on the outskirts of the city center, but easily walkable with a variety of cafes nearby.

Lovely stay. A bit devoid of property details at check in but very comfy for our group of 4 adults!

Clean and comfortable apts. a few blocks from the Latin Quarter. Safe-key fob entry for building and garage. Easy check-in/check out. Glad to have a w/d mid trip to do laundry , but took forever to dry clothes and left them with a musty smell. Nothing fancy or charming, but the (2) 2/2 apts. worked perfectly for our group.

Lovely apartment and super close to downtown.

Beautiful apartment with gorgeous view. Fantastic location. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Check in and check out is a bit inconvenient but they really did their best to help with it.

We had a lovely stay at Citypoint. While the room was smaller it was well laid out and eaisly accommodated us and our 2 north american sized suitcases. It was central without being too noisy. Easy to walk where we wanted to go.

Great accomodations for a group of 4 - plenty of room to move around! The apartment was modern and clean, with a beautiful view of the city. Location made it easy to get around town; only a five minute walk from the train and bus stations and maybe a 10 minute walk to the Latin Quarter. Would definitely recommend.

Location was perfect for a city stay. Easy walking distance to everything we needed and enjoy a night in Galway. Very clean and well stocked apartment. Easy check in/out.

The property is lovely inside but lacks a few basic items such as a cafetière or a teapot. The door to the street was sometimes difficult to open. Otherwise, it’s in a good location with nice rooms.

Absolutely wonderful property in a key location at the heart of Galway.

Loved the location and city view. I was surprised at how spacious and modern the apartment was.. only thing I didn’t care for was the bed was awfully uncomfortable.. that’s a preference tho.

Great option for a small group, rooms were nice and very comfortable. Great location in Galway. Kitchen was handy

Location and apt was nice. Check in was difficult and convoluted with car, parking and getting to apt on a different location. This inconvenience however, paled in comparison to the lack of hot water for showers. There was ZERO HOT WATER!!!!!
We could not take a shower

The apartment was clean and spacious and location was excellent. The private parking was also a plus. We had a balcony/terrace, but there was not patio furniture, which was a little strange. The check-in process however was confusing and frustrating. you have to check-in at the Western Hotel first, and finding parking while you do this was very difficult, it was also not clean that this was the process, although it may be contained in the instructions provided and I just didn't read through them carefully enough....would be useful to state this in a more obvious way so it is clear - overall a very positive experience with the check-in being the check-in process being the only real issue.

Citypoint was a wonderful surprise, from the warm welcome from Wade upon arrival, the spacious parking, the beautiful apartment with huge windows from which you can see the sunrise in the morning, and the location was perfect: small grocery store on the other side of the road, and 8 minutes walking from the center of town.
Only thing missing was a small shelf in the bathroom to put the shampoo and conditioner on, but this is small details.
We loved it and already recommended it to our friends

This apartment is in a perfect position for exploring Galway. You can hear traffic noise in the living room during the day but it isn’t overbearing. The bedrooms are at the back of the apartment and we heard no noise at all.
It’s large and spacious, perfect for 4 people. There is great kitchen space with most things you would need with a good fridge freezer. This was quite full of purchasable drinks and snacks, but if you are not buying them you can move them out of the fridge for your stay and put them back as you leave.
Marks and Spencer’s is across the road and a brilliant Lidl with a fresh bakery is less than 5 minutes walk.
Check in was explained really well before we arrived, checking in at the hotel and then going around to the apartments. I understand some of the reviews mentioning this, driving from the hotel to the apartments is a wee bit awkward mainly due to the one way system around Galway. I’m not sure there’s anything that could be done to change that.
A few niggles such as no ironing board or anything to dry clothes and towels on. With four adults all showering each day we needed a clothes horse. The apartment felt quite stuffy at times as you couldn’t any windows in the living area.
Overall a great apartment and I would recommend staying here.

Good location, easy walk to all the pubs restaurants night life, but just far enough away to be quite great views

Was unaware the actual registration / key retrieval was at the Western up the block. Not joyous after walking 3 luggage items in the rain from the train. Had to locate that guidance on the apartment lobby door.
No useful shelving in unventilated bathroom - clean clothes and toiletry kit were perched on garbage can cover and windowsill, respectively.
Whether it was the pub across the street or a downstairs neighbor, people were singing at the top of their lungs until 0300. This is not the fault of the apartment owner, but a feature of the neighborhood.
Clean, spacious 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bath. Separate quarters were appreciated after 4 of us sharing a 2 bed hotel room in Dublin.

We have stayed here in the past and had better experiences. This time, the carpet in both bedrooms was very stained. One of the bedrooms has an unpleasant odor. The washing machine did not work. We learned of that when the clothes were soaking wet after the dry cycle. This was an ongoing problem with many communications with the staff and trips to have our same load of clothes dried. The toaster did not work. There was a bare minimum of kitchen utensils. There is still a beautiful view from the living area and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Likes: Comfortable modern apartment located in the heart of the city. Dislikes: Underground parking is tricky to get to. After driving in circles for some time, we called the front desk asking for directions and was told to "Google it." The receptionist hung up on us after asking to speak to the manager. Half of the fridge was taken up with snacks and drinks for sale. The door shelves couldn't be used because the guards had been removed. We could barely get our items in. Half of the dining table was covered with snacks, drinks, and an erected plastic price list. Yes, a price list! Had to run out an purchase a coffee maker because none was provided! No shower soap holder. Couldn't sleep the first night due to a loud hissing noise emitting from the locked utility closet. The next day we reported the issue to the same receptionist that hung up on us. "We'll send someone over right away." Nothing. A second sleepless night. Spoke to housekeeping staff the next day, who managed to get a maintenance person there promptly. Later plumbers arrived to replace a pressure valve, just as we were preparing to get ready for the evening. Water had to be shutoff. Instead of receiving a level of customer care matching the five-star price we were paying, we were met with a defensive and insulting manager who challenged if we ever called. "We can't do anything about something we don't know about. Who did you speak to?" After suggesting compensation, we were given an insulting 50 euro credit.
