A fabulous one night stay. Everything was exceptional from the customer service to the dining. The room was spacious and well equipped with signature spa products in the bathroom. Would highly recommend.

It’s hard to describe perfect. I’d have to really think hard to make up a fault. I’ve traveled a bit. I’ve never had a positive emotional response like my stay at Dwarika’s Hotel. If you’re a fan of history, architecture, culinary arts, music, dance, sports, customer service, etc. this is for you .

From the moment we got in to the moment we left, you could not fault anything. The service was amazing, the room was phenomenal and a great choice of restaurants. I really loved the turned down service, knowing when your back from dinner everything is ready for you for bed. Recommend anyone going to Kathmandu to stay here.

We celebrated New Year’s Eve here.
Stay at his hotel made our time more comfortable in Kathmandu.
Staff was very nice and accommodating. Food was also good.
They accommodated our request to transfer some parts of our stay to their resort in Dhulikhel which was also very nice.
Dhulikhel resort although could not accommodate our request for late check out on last day as our flight was late in the evening and that is the only daily flight.
That was the only bummer.
We were unwell during our stay and could have done with extra rest on the last day before taking the long flight back home.

World Class property with outstanding hospitality! Definitely the best in Nepal!

Amazing hotel under all perspectives. Pure traditional style and design in the most upscale way. Like staying in a palace.

This hotel is everything! I would live here if I could.
First, the hotel itself is stunning. The founder set it up as a restoration project to save traditional Nepali wood carvings. Theyve used those items to build a gorgeous set of buildings around a courtyard. It's so peaceful compared to the area of Kathmandu right outside the doors, it's like stepping into another world.
Second, the service is incredible. They upgraded us, gave a short tour of the hotel, and one staff member, Sumit, even taught us how to play the Nepali national board game. I mentioned that I wanted to buy coffee to take home and they sourced a bag for me so I wouldn't have to leave the hotel. The day I checked out I had several hours to kill - they arranged a room for me to freshen up in before I left for the airport.
The experience was worth every penny, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu.

Exceptional service. Staff are helpful and even brought a complimentary cake to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The Taran restaurant is excellent for breakfast, so many options and selections for foods! However, the dinner items were underwhelming. Also, the door to the kitchen is noisy and distracting when dining. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in well maintained living museum to conveniently get around.

Dwarika’s is the perfect oasis of quiet, good taste, and a wonderful swimming pool (which unfortunately closes at 5pm). We enjoyed strolling on the street outside to some shops and simple, cheap restaurants for some Kathmandu experiences.

Amazing place, an oasis in Kathmandu! Staff is very welcoming and accommodating. We had a wonderful time here! Hotel restaurants and stores are fantastic too.

The property is very unique - elegant, gorgeous, full of heritage elements. The suite is spacious and classic, with beautiful antique woods and crafted window frames everywhere. Staff members are most friendly and attentive; they made me feel valued and welcomed.

Welcome to paradise in Nepal - once inside the dusty hustle and bustle of Kathmandu is gone and you are placed in the traditional Newari world of days gone by - splendid service, food and hospitality! Worth the money unlike a lot of things these days …..

Great time and amazing staff. Crazy out on the street but a courtyard oasis once inside the hotel. Not in Thamel where so many hotels which for us was a big plus. Cheap and easy to get around in taxis. Kathmandu's most outstanding hotel by far.

It is a truly amazing hotel with friendly staff. The hotel in itself is one of the best attractions in Kathmandu.

Nice and clean hotel with lots of amenities offered beyond the room, and a unique way to help preserve Nepali culture, architecture, traditions, and history.

Dawarika’s Hotel in Kathmandu is my favorite hotel in the world. It’s not just a hotel, it is a special Nepalese experience and is an oasis amidst the chaos of Kathmandu. Built in the Architectural style of the Newari people, the hotel is a historical and cultural destination in itself. To you that off, the staff go
above and beyond to make your stay spectacular and to make you feel at home. The rooms, courtyard, smells and sounds all combine to make this a very special place. The food is great too, especially the 6 course Newari meal at their Krishnapan restaurant.

This is a beautiful hotel. The architecture, furnishings an design of the hotel is breathtaking. Service is excellent. My 15 year old daughters and I had a wonderful 10 day stay there. Ram Prasad Gajurel who was one one the mangers was extremely helpful to us. We will always go back.

Beautiful location, service was slow (food orders for lunch especially).
Water cane out brownish, hopefully they can fix that.
Otherwise, probably the nicesg hotel in KTM and Nepal along with its sister location.

We loved this hotel -- its beauty is legendary, a precious piece of the old Nepal that (in Kathmandu) sadly seems to have disappeared. But it is the staff -- especially those who welcome guests at the door -- that makes this place even more special. Their thoughtfulness, kindness, and resourcefulness are quite extraordinary. We stayed only one night en route to Bhutan. On the way back from Bhutan we had a lengthy layover. And so we returned for lunch and relaxation in the courtyard. We had used all of our cash in Bhutan and the ATM at the airport wasn't working. So we hopped in a cab without a Nepalese penny -- the Dwarika's concierge paid the cab at the door and let us add that to our lunch bill which we could charge on our credit card. Whew! Love those guys.
