La Pasión Hotel offers an exceptional experience with amazing service and stunning rooms. The architecture is beautiful, adding to the overall charm. The breakfast included is delicious, making mornings delightful. The linens are luxurious, and the bathroom amenities are top-notch. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

Wonderful hotel! The staff were lovely. Our only complaint was it was a little loud in the room from all of the street noise (honking mostly), but there’s not much they can do about that—that’s the trade off for having a convenient location. We also recommend that if you are going to a foreign country that YOU LEARN THE LANGUAGE. At least the basics. This area only recently became a popular tourist destination for Americans, so there has not been a reason for the people here to learn English, but it’s not their job to. Very few people here speak English, so don’t come here expecting Cancun because you won’t find it. It is a beautiful country with a beautiful language that is worth exploring if you put in the time to prepare.

The property felt a little dated and in need of a refresh. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The lack of AC in the common areas and no elevator was a big negative for us.

The bed was very hard, especially if you are a side sleeper, the rooms from the first floors lack of some noise suppression as you can even hear the transactions of the street vendors on the other side of the wall, the stairs to the pool and breakfast area are very narrow, the bedroom door lacks of light, which makes it difficult to use the key at night, the breakfast options are just ok, but the ladies of it, makes it a pleasant time. The hotel also lacks a generator, the city lost power twice on two consecutive days and we had to stay in complete darkness for like 2 or 3 hours which with the city temperatures was not pleasant, there’s only tv’s in the rooms and they are apps driven, so no local channels, the room’s phone is for decoration purposes, we couldn’t contact the front desk nor my friends on other rooms unless I used my personal device, but Tatiana at the reception is great, so thanks to those Ladies I mentioned my stay was good.

This was a beautiful boutique hotel. Our room decor was nice and has a rustic feel. The open air shower was amazing. The pool on the roof top was perfect for a swim to try and beat the heat. Location was everything! Close to anything you may need. So many bars, restaurants, clubs, shops, street food etc. But most of all, the staff were amazing!! I can’t talk enough about how they took care of all our needs, and did it with a warm smile and fun attitude. All the staff we encountered became our friends by the end of the trip. They were the best!

We were upgraded to a bigger Room Which felt like an apartment. The challenge was getting the suitcases up the very thighs stairs but very thankfully the staff help us. The view for the pool is very nice and the breakfast very extensive.

I especially loved the wonderful breakfast on the roof in the morning, surrounded by flowers. I also loved the rooftop pool where you could enjoy views of the city and listen to the birds while cooling off. The building is very handsome and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property is very unique in its style and the rooms are lovely and large but unfortunately they started with construction each morning when we were trying to sleep. For this reason I’m giving a poor review. We did enjoy the rooftop pool though.

Great location of a fabulous property. Rooms are specious well equipped and well maintained. Service is wonderful as well as serviced breakfasts. Staff is very much friendly, helpful and willing to help with a smile. Beautiful decor and comfortable rooftop pool. Highly recommended if you want to stay in Cartagena Old Town

Amazing service by Front desk staff Who helped us book our tours. Everyone was very hospitable and always smiling. The hotel is centrally located and close to everything which was a big plus for us. The rooms were beautiful and old. If you like that the vintage atmosphere this is the place to be. The breakfast was very good too.

Beautiful old style boutique hotel, great pool on roof top. Very well located, in walking distance to all the sites and great restaurants. We had an Executive room, very spacious, high ceiling..totally worth the upgrade. Very friendly staff. Tatiana and Ali were wonderful, very helpful. Could not have been nicer. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful hotel! It’s close to many dining options and many other things to do. The executive room was roomy and spacious! The hotels in the walled city usually have issues with hot water, but this hotel has really hot water! I had an awesome stay!!!

The bathroom shower was open to the outside, wit h vines hanging over the shower ! The room itself was rustic/ posh, and had 15 foot ceilings! Great air conditioning also. The manager’s were very helpful also.

Just what we needed! Small and quiet boutique hotel with lots of attention to detail. The staff was extremely courteous and eager to assist with all our needs. The rooftop area has an amazing view and the pool has a great size for what you can usually find in this kind of hotel. Five stars all around!

Ladies at the desk were great, excellent English and great recommendations for bars and restaurants! Room was clean and outdoor shower feature was really nice. Great location. No minibar but there was a 24 hour grocery store a 2 minute walk. Highly recommended ❤️!
