This is a beautiful hotel, and the grounds are tranquil and well-kept. I was unable to try out the restaurant, which came highly recommended to me, but I am sure I am back and then give it a try.

Very nice lady working front desk

No elevator and the restaurant was impossible to work with as far as any type of service. Two bar tenders just about got in a fight. Went down the road to get dinner

I have been here before, love the area. Only have dinner 5 days a week, but Food is very good. Cheap toilet paper. Still no elevator or bell hop. Tough on old people with bad knees.

Wonderful stay all around.

Had a really hard time originally deciding where to stay. Theres just too many options in the area …as are rafting companies. In end, the decision to stay here was the best ever. All was Fantastic. Great staff and checkin was flawless. We utilized the pool which was so great after rafting! The resterant was so good that we ate there both nights. And after dinner to go across the street to Tommys bar which is also part of the hotel - just fun. We lucked out with this hotel and lucked out with the rafting company Endless River which was just up the street so that was also super convenient and not far away. Great Job!

This was an amazing place to stay. I wish we had more time to explore more of the area. The front desk was very friendly, she even gave me directions to the most scenic ride to the resort by motorcyle. Unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed but that is no fault of their own. They still allowed a limited menu for us and they didn't have to do that.
Great place to stay!! Staff go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one.

The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, quiet, and stressless. I so enjoyed my stay. When making the reservation i informed them of the purpose of the trip, when i arrived, checked in and went to my room there was the birthday cake waiting. My friend loved the cake and thevstay. Excellent place to relax. Ill be back.

Such a peaceful, relaxing and nostalgic place. The food in the restaurant was just as great as the lodge. We are anxious to visit again for a longer stay.

The property was very pretty. It was mine and my husband’s anniversary. I had mentioned it when booking and there was an Anniversary card in our room when we got there. I would recommend this property.

I would have easily given this review a five star if it were not for the plumbing issues in our room. Not exactly sure if it was the toilet or the piping issues in the hotel but we had much difficulty flushing the toilet. Had to use a plunger every time we used it and sometimes that did not even help. We did let the front desk know but at that point nothing could be done so we just dealt with it. Everything else was wonderful, especially the front desk clerk Amber. Wonderful customer service. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountain. We were in the hotel part and it was very quiet. Only one restaurant, Rivers End, was in the area, and it did have delicious food. Others were about 15 minutes away. Breakfast offered at the hotel was a sausage biscuit and coffee. Rivers End Restaurant served breakfast Saturday and Sunday only so we ate there one morning and it was delicious. Not sure if we would stay here again due to the plumbing issues but hopefully they will get them addressed and resolved.

Amazing little stop on our way to Gatlinburg this year! Very clean, great view, comfortable bed, and a wonderful staff! Definitely a place I would stay again and recommend to anyone passing through this area. Thank you!

The property was great except for the shock that there was no central heat and air. We arrived around 5pm (in Nov) to a freezing cold cabin. Once we got the wall unit and space heaters going, it eventually warmed up. Otherwise the cabin was really nice! It had a beautiful view! One small thing, we would have liked TVs in the bedrooms because we like to fall asleep with it on.

We stayed in a king cabin. Nice and cozy. Could use some updating but great view and comfortable for a weekend.

Too far from Bryson City. No elevator only steps in lodge. No place for breakfast beside just sausage biscuits. Problems getting TV to turn on and raise or lower the sound on it.

Was pleased with everything. Only thing was room was never cleaned so had to ask for new towels. And suggestion, to add a shelf in the shower to sit toiletries and a bath mat.

This is an older property and could use some updating but it was great for our stay.
One thing that could be done is to provide tissue in each unit.

The property itself was very nice, however, our room was very musty and we had no toilet paper in the bathroom. The front desk was supposed to be open until 8:00. We went back at 7:30 because we could t get anyone to answe the phone and the front desk was closed. So I had to go to the women’s bathroom I. The lobby to take a roll of toilet paper. Not cool.
