It’s the first time that we go into a motel and did not even have glasses to be able to make ourselves a drink we have to go to a store buy glasses some ice and come back down when we try to take a shower there’s no hot water no coffee in the room it is not a 3 1/2 star it’s a Tameze no more than one the floor will not clean we couldn’t walk what are we getting our feet dirty

There was so much noise all over everything rattled and banged, and I don’t know whether they were putting new flooring in at night, but there was just so much hammering and crap going on couldn’t sleep

We had to change rooms 3 times. First room kept blowing breakers, so had no power or heat and it was -40. Taken to next room and would not stay as heater was leaking all over floor as it was freeon. Next room had a night with no water as lines froze. So moved to the last room. Did not receive a refund. Had to book 2 more nights because roads to bad to travel then gave me same price as I original book. Didnt offer anything just not price that is posted.

Room was a good price, place was easy to find.
However, The overpowering smell of some sort of cleaner was gross. Hair in both beds was disgusting. Then the heater wouldn’t stop running. Was so hot all night. Couldn’t open the window because it was screwed shut. Then people banging on doors and yelling late at night. All in all had a restless horrible night.

They was no heating in the room. On that day FSJ was -30C and it was warmer outside then inside the room. I got my refund and left.

No heat in the entire building-small 1500W heaters in each room-breakers blowing constantly-staff obviously sick of hearing the complaints-talked to a worker who had stayed all week and it’s been like this for awhile??? How can a hotel with ELECTRICITY issues be open? There was a water line burst LAST FALL and apparently this is part of that issue.
Also mouldy ceiling in the bathroom and no bathtub plugs so had to use a facecloth to plug the drain to bath.

No heat, space heaters provided. Which would blow the breaker after being on for 30 min.

Drug addicts and drunk people everywhere. Music so loud in the room next to us it was shaking the TV on the wall mount. No staff after 11:00 p.m. available . Found the desk no staff available. I'm a small female and I took my son down to the front desk and pushed the doorbell and stood there for almost half an hour no staff arrived dark corridor not lit with scary people everywhere. Did not feel safe at this hotel whatsoever. At 4:00 in the morning when the music still was not stopping and no staff available to help I called the RCMP.
In fact I called the RCMP three times that night to come deal with the person next door and the drunk woman who was naked smashing on my window trying to get in.
I have never had such a horrible experience in my life I would have rather to have slept in my car.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!
To top it off after a full day of driving I was unable to bathe myself or my children the tub was not cleaned room was unclean and no staff available to even provide cleaning supplies!

Beds were comfortable and clean, but tub and shower were in disrepair, handle fell off of shower, could get scalded if hot water was on full.
Bolt on door entrance didn't work, but secure otherwise.
Overall service was fine.

My room reaked of piss

The room itself was perfectly fine - we were travelling with our 2 small children and we didn't experience any issues with a late check-in, nor was there any noise or other negative experiences at this location. The outside of the building doesn't instill much confidence in the motel but the room itself was clean and fine for a place to rest during our road trip.

it was central to everything we needed, restaurants, amusements, etc

Conveniently located downtown. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Arrived to the hotel and lobby door was locked, attendant was carefree didn’t wear any PPE at time of check in and the room assigned was terrible. Had stained and dated, sink was cracked and appear neglected, I was so disappointed with the room and definitely not staying there again

Booked 2 weeks in advance, tried to call twice with no return call. Showed up at night (late) to find out they were closed for renovations. Was given a phone number on the door to stay at another place which was 1 step up from "slum". Never ever going there again (meaning both places)

I stay in a lot of budget accomodations but this one is pretty poor. The deadbolt doesn't work, the bathroom ceiling fan is hanging on by a wire, the bed sheets have some weird stains on them, and the even the TV doesn't work right. Worst Motel 6 i've ever stayed in!

You know I was gonna leave a 5 start review Because of the guy working the night of Decembre 1st because he is a understanding human being But the owner and lady who works morning does not care at all that my room has no locks on the door, power constantly goes out, my water was brown when it first came out of the tap, the staff is extremely rude and the rooms are not heated I have a space heater to keep warm...

Motel 6 has become a home-away-from-home when we need to remain in FSJ overnight. We receive a personal welcome, and the staff are proficient.

Desk staff was friendly. I expected the room to be not that great for the price; but there’s no excuse for not being clean :(
