Bad Room

Priced at under $100

2nd time staying here, a loud buzzing mechanical noise kept me awake the whole night. Also found this long pieces of hair on the bed. I have short hair. Checked in past midnight, Service desk agent was friendly but absent minded, had to call him to get wifi password since he didnt even give it to me. Will most likely not stay here again. I posted a Google Review where I recorded the noise that prevented me from getting any sleep

Good.

Overall the value for money was good. The room was clean and amenities were good. On the subject of cleanliness... more attention is needed on the corners in the entry, main area & bathroom. The easily reached floor areas are clean but the corners are dirty.

Howard Johnson in FSJ is a Great Stay!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and very well kept. Our room had almost like a "modern 70's" type vibe thanks to the paint and textiles used in the decor, and I absolutely loved it! Checking in and out were both a breeze. Super friendly staff. Over-all an excellent experience. Will definitely stay again!

I actually cannot think of anything that I didn't care for.

Location was good, staff were friendly and helpful

Feathers in the bedding! I am highly allergic, left the location very itchy and developed hives after getting back on the road. I won't stay there again and all my friends with feather allergies now know and won't stay there either. I highly recommend advertising the feathered bedding so you don't get any others like me disappointed in their stay.

Was disappointed. Booked a room and when checked in the front desk give me a room that was not clean. Bathroom was disgusting the garbage was still in the room from the last tenant and the room had a disgusting odor to it. I complained and was given another room that was clean. I have stayed at this Howard Johnson on several occasions and everything was very good. Hope that this was just a one off. Please improve.

For the price, the place was just fine.

It wasn’t a nice big hot breakfast like most restaurants so I was disappointed in that. But the little bit of food that I did have, tested fine. The location was great.

Like I said in the previous post, no big hot breakfast! No swimming pool either.

Best in town for clean and affordable!

Friendly, affordable and clean. Solid bed with clean white crisp sheets. Socks stayed white after walking on the carpet in the room, lots of space, updated rooms. Denny's and a pub are across the street and a liquor store beside.

Didn’t have breakfast. Main reason for staying was to be close to the hospital and it turned out we were there for like half an hour then went to have a baby
