On the seafront, great views and very cheap. Old building with no lift but didn’t smell old and tried to modernise with furniture and big en-suite with a great shower. Very clean, plenty of room and comfortable bed. Owner very friendly and helpful. Would stay again and recommend. Only minor issue was not much parking, but free on esplanade after 6pm

Ground floor apartment was excellent. Lots of space, with separate living room and seafront seating areas. Great value for money. Very clean and well maintained. Parking easy and food, drink, shops, buses within 5 minute walk.

Overall our Family Room stay was okay however had to shut the windows at night due to traffic noise and the odd drunk vomiting across the street Our ajoining rooms were very clean and practical our double was a bit small
I personally feel that this hotel due to its location could and would benefit from being licenced and serving food
The sea view and sunset would attract Some of the surrounding pubs were a bit intimidating with stag parties etc We enjoyed our stay we would stay there again

Great seaside hotel. I was met with a smile and a "How are you?" I had a single bed room with en suite. It was perfect for my stay as I was only there to have dinner and sleep--golf excursion.

Lovely sea view, newly decorated room. Property is old with plenty of character and it was an interesting journey up to our room! Owners very friendly and helpful. Limited parking at the hotel. Free parking on the seafront between 6pm and 9am. Four hour tickets purchased before 6pm roll over to the next day.

Great position on the seafront, loved the sun room. Staff were great and my room was brand new, just redone. Loved the freedom of no catering, but things were provided if you brought food in.
My only problem was the stairs, im 72. My room was right at the top and the last three steps were tricky But staff took my bag up and brought it down. All round a pleasant stay and would go again.

The staff were very helpful, the location is ideal especially for older guests who can walk very easily into the town or cross the road to the beach

Friendly and helpful staff, immaculately clean rooms and facilities provided in common areas like fridge, freezer, microwave and cutlery. No food available however balcony seating and tables for takeaways etc. Directly across from the beach and near shops/cinema/restaurants. My daughter and I really liked it and wouldn’t hesitate in returning.

The room was fine but had dust on tv door frame and the drawers had tea stains on them. The shower was fine. Bed was comfortable and clean. It had everything that was needed for a couple of nights stay. Location was very good. Could do with having a parking permit for the sea front included with price as we had to pay for parking when we first got there although it wasn’t to expensive a permit would be better. Overall not too bad a place to stay

Lovely hotel. Great location.
10.0
The hotel is in a great location right on the sea front with east access to the beach and close to restaurants, the arcade and shops to pick up snacks and essentials. Although parking is limited when the hotel is busy, we were able to get a space out front and there are plenty of alternatives across the road and round the corner. Check in and out was easy and the room was comfortable and clean. The highlight for us was the Italian restaurant that we were recommended up the street. We didn’t have any issues during our stay so didn’t need to contact staff, but those we did see were friendly and approachable.

Great hotel right on the sea front. We stayed for two nights and the room was comfortable and quiet. The overall decoration was simple and furniture quite basic, but everything was clean, tidy and worked well. The staff were friendly and made us most welcome. I would stay here again.

Lovely hotel right on the sea front with shops, bars, cafes and the pier within a few minutes walk.
The host was very welcoming and gave us a map highlighting local amenities. Small car park on the front but free/cheap parking very close if you are unable to park.
Our family room was spotlessly clean and modern.
Would definitely stay again.
