Several pictures does NOT match how the hotel looks like. The hotel appeared to have had financial problems as furniture have been sold. The room shown did not match the room I was giving. The cleaning I ask for did not vacuumed. The empty cans of soda was not removed, they could be used as a "kind of tips".

Nice sized room with a comfortable bed. Not much in the way of storage. No air con so it was very humid at times as Berlin had a heatwave at the time of our stay. Karlshorst S-Bahn was a five minute walk away and there were a number restaurants on the main drag that the hotel was situated on. Unfortunately, the main road was extremely busy with traffic, trams and emergency vehicles. The trams in Karlshorst run 24 hours a day. With no air con the window had to stay open. I had ear plugs so it wasn’t the end of the world but I’d recommend taking some. In summary, for the price it was a good place and the young chap on reception was very helpful and pleasant.

Did nor respond to our request about dogs staying. Forced to stay somewhere else at 7pm in evening. Fortunately the other hotel was significantly better. Still £100 out of pocket. Rude receptionist

Subject: Complaint Regarding Check-In Delay and Staff Behavior*
Dear Hotel Management,
I am writing to lodge a complaint about my recent stay. I received my room keys at 2:10 PM, but the room was still being cleaned, causing a delay until about 2:25 PM. When I initially requested an extended check-out due to this delay, the receptionist responded harshly, stating that “You need to understand that the previous guest checked out at 12 noon instead of 11 am, and we cannot give an unclean room to a guest, hence the delay.”
While I understand operational challenges, I believe such issues should not negatively impact new guests. I eventually received a check-out extension to 12 noon, but the tone, manner/language of the receptionist were unprofessional.
Upon check-out, I was told by another receptionist that I cannot directly contact management but was shown a notification that he sent to them regarding my complaint.
To improve guest experience, I suggest:
1. Ensuring rooms are ready by the designated check-in time.
2. Training staff to handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism.
3. Providing customers direct contact details of the management so that they can raise issues directly to management.

There was a lot of dust on the paintings in the room. They hadn't cleaned up all garbage from earlier guests. The room was really(!) warm, and if we opened the windows we couldn't sleep from the noise from the cars just outside. No a/c. We couldn't pull the curtains up, since they didn't work. The sheets were clean, and the staff seemed friendly.

Okayish hotel - you get what you pay for I guess.
Room was decent size with a nice desk and chair for working.
The shower was confusing initially - shower head on one wall but the controls were on the opposite wall, not something I am familiar with so it took some playing around but was fine. The shower head was very dirty for a hotel (completely covered in limescale) and put me off showering to be honest.
The view was good and lots of nice shops nearby, walking distance to bus/trains. Lots of happening in the area so very good location.
All good, just didn't like the bathroom much - could do with an upgrade.

Nice cheap room. We used it to sleep not spend a lot of time in the room.
Clean and nice.
Nice soft bed and good pillow.

If you are looking for a really cheap place to stay and yet reach the important places in Berling, this hotel is not a bad choise (35 minutes to Alexanderplats). However, due to its price there are a lot of workers, a lot of smoking (the smoke reaches even your room!) and my bed was really hard, felt as sleeping on the floor. On the 3rd floor it gets really hot event by 27°C so you have to leave the window open. Not a good solution because the street is really busy and you wake up at 4h30 due to traffic...

The room was clean and ok, but very small with the shower placed inside the room and the only window was in the bathroom.
The hotel is in a great place, near public transport, shops and restaurants.

First of all they didn't have my reservation. I booked comfort twin room but they gave me single bed room saying that they don't have my reservation even though I showed them reservation on Expedia. They charged for 2 Croissants even though I ordered 1. There was mistake in the final bill and took 105 Euros extra from me and I don't know when will I get it back. The only good thing - the room was okay compared to the price.

Poor service , had lost my booking, no breakfast available, no evening meal available, no tea facilities, uncomfortable bed, rude staff, shower not working, dirty carpet, fire alarm drill without notification or reassurance that it was just a drill.

It took 3 attempts to get me a room (first one wasn’t ready, second one looked like the door kicked in so I didn’t feel safe, third room was the first room now ready) which was spotlessly clean though very sparse. Flat screen tv, comfortable bed, wardrobe, table and chairs, large bathroom with a balcony and the bed was made and room cleaned every day. Good room temperature too. If you’re looking for a budget stay, purely to sleep this is for you. There are no tea/coffee making facilities and although it says you can buy breakfast in the restaurant below this wasn’t available during my stay. Staff were friendly but didn’t offer information freely. I found out through other guests you could pay to have WiFi though I didn’t do this.

SLEPT ON A PARK BENCH THANKS TO MANAGEMENT! They changed the lock on the late night entrance without informing guests. I had to sleep on a park bench at 3am on the 2nd night. All they needed to do was inform guests and issue them with an old key and a new key. Was the most dreadful experience of my life when staying at a hotel. Also, the room entrances have rotten door frames and so you can enter locked rooms. For this reason the hotel needs to be shut down. The location is not good either if you really want to experience the city.

The hotel is nice and quite. It didn´t take much time to go to the city center of Berlin.

Walk in and the receptionist was having an argument with a women and then rolled her eyes at me. Put in a disabled persons room with toilet about 3ft off the ground with rails and walk in shower, stained leaking ceilings, broken blinds in bathroom so people can see in, old towels, stained toilet paper, no soap and loud couples every night. If backpacking on a budget fine, if not avoid. Didnt say a word or make eye contact when checking out.

Abysmal room, the lock was broken, shower broken, WiFi didn’t work that you had to pay for. The staff were not very helpful. And when we had to check out at 3:30am, they key to the night door didn’t work and we had to scale a 10ft fence to get out of the hotel! Luckily we managed to get out a fire escape to the back of the hotel court and the taxi driver had to help us get over this fence. Luckily we’re both agile enough to get up and over but anyone older wouldn’t have been able to have gotten out and wouldn’t be able to get out the hotel until 8am when the staff are back and we’d have missed our flight! Would not recommend this place at all.

I did not pay a lot for my 3 night stay and only used the hotel for washing and sleeping. The bedroom and bathroom were very basic, the towels were rough, some items were not attached to the wall properly. The blind on the window was broken, the carpet had stains and the door was paper thin, meaning noise carried easily. Having said all of that, I knew I was opting for pretty much the cheapest hotel in the area, so none of this was really an unpleasant surprise. The location is very handy (for me at least) being a short walk to the train station and with nearby supermarket / cafe etc. Staff were friendly and the room seemed pretty clean. As far as Im concerned I got what I paid for.

Internet, you need to pay. Place is safe and surrounding place to buy things & food is affordable as comparing the city area.

For the very cheap price that I paid, this hotel was better than I was expecting. Everything was basic but was clean and worked.

Good hotel in quiet area of former East Germany. Staff are professional, although they don't seem to be too friendly, this maybe the remnants of Soviet Union rule? No problems though.
