Initial receptionist was very good however the allocated room on arrival very hot, it was tired looking and basic, the bathroom had mould in the bath/shower, it had a walkway access for other rooms in front of it & was surrounded by walls so air flow was non existent.
The room had metal shutters, so for privacy sake we had to have them down most of the time otherwise people walking past or smoking in the area outside the breakfast room could look in. This added to the lack of air circulation and heat in an unseasonably hot later September.
A fan was provided and we had it on whenever we were in the room and overnight.
We have been travelling extensively for seven weeks &this by far was the worst property we stayed in.
Probably ok in Winter.
The demographic we saw staying there was older and there is no lift just narrow stairs to the first and second floors.
Location was very good and the saving grace.
Not a property we would want to spend time in.

Stunning views from the windows of the cathedral

Very tastefully decorated, comfortable, clean, as close as possible to the cathedral. Unfortunately I was there during record-breaking heat and without air conditioning it was wicked hot.

It was a great stay. The building was historic. Notre Dame cathedral is just a few minutes from the hotel on foot. The room I stayed has a window through which one can see a part of cathedral. A lady in the hotel reception was so kind that she suggested nice restaurants and bakeries. One disadvantage if any is, because the building is historic and it is prohibited to install an elevator, one has to carry baggages via stairs. Note that the lady at the reception kindly proposed to carry the guests’ baggages to the room. Next time i come to Amiens, I want to stay at this hotel again.

Very close to the cathedral. Nice staff.

Already booked for the second time. Perfect location, super nice staff. Very clean. I like hotels that have an individual concept and each room is different. Good breakfast, good value.

A real gem of a hotel. Our room was beautiful, fabulous bathroom and so quiet. Lovely comfortable bed. The staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. I for got my phone charger and they found one for me to borrow. The location is perfect for exploring the city especially the Christmas market and Cathedral.

We have stayed here twice now. 16th century hotel with a modern quirky decor too. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. It is so close to the cathedral that the views are stunning.

They are not kidding about "cathedral view" from the thrid floor attic-style rooms--you can almost touch the cathedral from there. On the downside, a bit of swewr smell in the stair well, not the best upkeep in lots of places, minimal staff, and the breakfast was poor and overpriced. Warning: no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage it is a real struggle up all those stairs. And you have to load your luggage in from a block away since it is on a pedestrian street. Still, it is in the middle of everything, and if you're traveling light none of that hassle matters.

The hotel was very clean. Masks had to be worn and hand sanitiser used when entering the building. Rooms weren't serviced during our stay but we expected that due to the current restrictions. The hotel was in the perfect place to explore. The cathedral was on our doorstep and it was a short walk to a wide variety of restaurants both in the centre and river side. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Great hotel with friendly staff. The location is ideal even though it would be great for the hotel to have a deal with the underground parking nearby. The place is decorated with taste and the rooms are nice and cosy.

Lovely little hotel with gorgeous view of cathedral!! Service ++ she offered to bring our very heavy bags up two flights of stairs .... so nice and welcoming. Location is amazing !!

The staff were friendly and went out of there way to
Provide breakfast early when we were taking a tour.
Plenty of help with what to do in Amiens.
Decor was quirky very different.

Friendly staff, very welcoming, Lovely room even on the hottest day of the year! Would benefit from Air con ;-) Breakfast was very nice with lots of choice. Ideally situated within walking distance to every thing you need and just around the corner from the cathedral ( which is a must to see) especially the light show at night ;-)

This is a very pleasant, clean and characterful hotel. It is ideally situated for the breathtaking Amiens Cathédrale (our room had a side view of it) and for restaurants etc. The welcome was warm and genuine and everyone was very helpful and polite. Thoroughly recommend.

.This is a vintage hotel near the cathedral. Staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke excellent English. The room was very comfortable, though as there is no elevator was a bit tiring to get to. The hotel has no restaurant, but there are plenty of good bistros and brasseries nearby. the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Fantastic quiet location to explore Amiens. Close to old city and eateries. Easily reached from station. Boutique feel to the place.

Excellent location. The room is cozy but other guests must walk by your windows to get to their rooms. This should be made clear in Expedia listing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Amiens is a lovely place to visit.

Our stay was just amazing with the friendly and helpful staff from we checked in until checked out. The room was perfect to see the view of the cathedral. Moon light will shed on the bed that I was lucky to have it during my stay. Need a closer look to the cathedral? It's just 1 minute away from here.
A must book place for you if you visit Amien.

The hotel is charming and is part of the historic city of Amiens. It is situated within walking distance of lots of good restaurants and bars as well as the magnificent cathedral. The location is quiet and safe and although the hotel doesn’t have its own car park, there are facilities quite close by at reasonable prices.

The hotel is in a good location. We arrived very early (about 11:30am) and our rooms wasn't ready but the receptionist took our bags and assured us it'd be in our room when we got back. We explored everywhere on foot, cathedral is less than a minute's walk and the town centre (shopping area) about 5 minutes away.
We eventually got back to the hotel at about 6:30pm and another receptionist knew exactly who we were and gave us our key. A couple of the lights weren't working as we walked up the stairs so made it a little dark but we managed. It is an old building so some of the steps were a little narrow (husband had to walk sideways as his big feet didn't fit!!).
The room was nice, clean and spacious enough for a weekend. Nespresso coffee machine available. I wasn't too sure how I'd make tea as they gave tea bags but Nespresso only uses pods. We had booked a cathedral view room, and whilst we could see the cathedral, it wasn't the best view...across roof tops and sort of sideways onto the back of the cathedral. The toilet was an odd shape. It was already a small room but they had boxed in pipes or whatever so that made the room into an L shape but with the box in area hitting your knees when you are seated. Just small things that should be thought through.
The continental breakfast was plentiful. There was another Nespresso coffee machine there but only the waitress was allowed to operate it.
Pleasant stay and staff were very helpful.

This was our second stay here and again it did not disappoint. We had a charming room at the top of the stairs in the main building and the only gripe was that I kept banging my head on the slanting ceiling and the shower was interesting (corner bath under the eaves which meant having to sit on the bath to shower!) But it all added to the charm of the place. And the location of the hotel is right beside the Cathedral so is handy for everything.
The staff are very helpful and friendly and we would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Amiens.

wonderful location - right in centre of old town and a great view of the cathedral from our room

Very nice hotel right next to the Cathedral. Helpful and attentive staff, offering advice for restaurants etc. Breakfast nice with some good, strong coffee. The closest parking (next to the Cathedral) was very busy on Saturday afternoon and the closest underground car park was closed on Sunday! (this was mentioned in an email from the hotel so we didnt get stuck fortunately). We found a space in Amiens 2 car park next to the station and only paid 5 euros for almost 24 hours and it was roughly a five minute walk to the hotel.Overall very happy with Amiens and the hotel. Would definitely come again

Quiet season and we had a very good experience at the Prieure. The one way system in the city makes parking a bit exciting but staff v helpful with directions and maps

Hotel staff were phenomenal in arranging local transportation to a WW1 cemetery where a relative of mine from the Battle of Beaumont Hamel is buried. Hotel reception staff were also instrumental in bridging the language barrier between my cab driver and I. The hotel representative even provided their cell number in the even that translation was needed during the drive and cemetery visit

We stayed for just 1 night but were very happy with the location of the hotel and staff were very friendly.
