I was not able to stay at the hotel because it was oversold and my reservation was not honored. I spoke to the front desk at about 10:45 PM on Fri, 12/6/24, and the front desk host said he no more rooms left because the hotel was oversold and that there was nothing he could do to help me. He was sorry but did nothing else to help me find a hotel for the night.

I usually stay with Holiday Inn express locations. It was a first time to visit Memphis! Did not realize the area was not the greatest to be in. The hotel has a gate to park your car in. They were improving with painting the walls. Check in was smooth and fast the ladies were respectful and nice! The breakfast could have definitely needed some work. However I believe the employee Mrs Dottie? I think her name is was SUPER SWEET!! She made conversation with everyone as it was a tourist area with Graceland near by.

The staff here was amazing! The front desk ladies both at check in and when leaving were very friendly. The lady that worked at the breakfast area, I think her name was Ms Duffey was also very friendly.
The breakfast was good,
The pillows are wonderful!

Very clean, very friendly staff, location is right down street from Graceland. They even offer a shuttle to save you money on parking at Graceland

The hotel was under construction, the toilet broke in our room and flooded the bathroom, a construction worker came in to our room in the middle of the night and had a universal key to enter every room in the hotel, the electricity went out in the entire building for several hours, and was completely dark. They had Halloween decorations in massive amounts all over the main lobby that was inappropriate and embarrassing. The elevator had a button that was sticking out with a spring behind it (code violation)!

No the lectricity when we came and we were not told about it since they dont have electricity since 9am. They expect us to stay in a very hot room and no elevator. They never offered an alternative.

Staff was so friendly. Safe gated parking area. Awesome shower pressure!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and courteous the staff was! Very impressed! Although there was a maintenance cart in my room upon arrival it was immediately corrected and the front desk person apologized for the inconvenience repeatedly! Will definitely stay again!

Room was in desperate need of a handyman that actually knows what he’s doing. There were paint blotches, rust stains, holes in the wall…

Provided a$10 shuttle which made getting around very easy
Nice place to stay and close to attractions

Overbilled twice, had to call and complain twice so I could get my refund. Cleanliness was below average, pool was dirty, dead cockroach on the floor in the breakfast area. Friends (in another room) had people walk in on them in the middle of the night. Would definitely never stay here again.

When we first checked in they were cleaning so we didn’t think much about the strong chemical smell. We were then gone until late. When we got back it still smelled terrible. My husband has cancer and the smell was so strong it made him sick!! It was so late and we had so much stuff it was pointless to request a different room. It was also so hot and wouldn’t get cool. So at almost one AM I was going to our car to get the fan. I won’t be back even though the front desk staff was super sweet!!

Expedia confirmed 2 queen beds but the hotel gave us a king and said Expedia should not have confirmed the room type. The ceramic floors were very slippery I was sliding across them in my running shoes, it was as though they used lots of soap and didn’t rinse afterwards. The smell of carpet chemicals in the hallway was very very strong. The carpets had huge bald patches. After I checked out the hotel charged me for the room claiming Expedia’s credit card was declined and put the onus on me to get Expedia to provide a new credit card, which I did and Expedia confirmed everything would be fixed. Five days later nothing has been corrected.

Definitely needs updated.Close to Graceland but our room needs the carpet replaced, big hole in room was plastered but not sanded or repainted.Door frames need to be painted.

Quick visit. In and out in 12 hours, but location worked for us.

The hallway smelled like sewage and musk. I gagged the entire walk to our room. Check into the room and it smelled worse and was filthy. Picked up the phone to info the front desk, the phone did not work. Had to walk downstairs and inform the front desk. She was nice, she gave us another room. Again the hallway smelled like sewage and musk. Another guest had a complaint as the lady from the front desk was walking in the hallway spraying Odom spray to mask the smell. New room sheets are dirty again. Pick up the phone to inform the front desk the phone does not work again. Walked downstairs again to inform the lady the front desk. It is after 10pm, she was working alone and had a line so I asked for sheets so we could sleep they had no more rooms. We slept on clean sheets on top of the dirty sheets on the bed. The day of check out Housekeeping knocks on the door at 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am. Do not disturb was hanging on the door. Was told ppl check out but leave the sign on the door. Regardless if they do, check out is at 11am so they need to wait til 11 to knock. We told the front desk the night before we wanted a late checkout at 12p and he said okay.
I was promised 10,000 points due to my horrible experience, I have yet received. I have called corporate to make a formal complaint. Still waiting on my points. The hotel is screening my calls, they refuse to allow me to speak with hotel manager.

The smell from the sewer problems was horrible. Made it hard to sleep and was reasy to leave asap. Not to mention it couldn't be healthy breathing that in. I told the lady at the desk and she took a spray can to our floor as if thay was gonna help

Easy check in at 10pm .Safe and Secure parking lot lots of cameras and a parking lot gate.Went to the room unlocked the door and the tv was on and someone was in bed ! A little unnerving for both of us .
Went back to the main desk told them what happened got another room .It could have been so much worse!
Hotel is going thru a renovation but overall was a good stay .

I really like the shuttle service, very convenient. The hot breakfast was surprisingly good with biscuits and gravy, they kept replenishing the food. Ms. Duffy was so nice and Albert the front desk person was very welcoming. I would stay here again!

Stayed at this Memphis location because it’s close to Graceland. The accommodations were comfortable. I liked the chaise in the room. Bed was comfortable. Only negative was that the shower was very slippery and there’s NO handrail or non-slip bathmat. Be careful. My husband almost slipped backwards in the tub.
Breakfast in the morning included eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, the regular breakfast fare, and a pancake machine.
Parking is gated. Need a room key to enter the gated lot. Safety… the hotel and grounds is safe. Area outside of hotel grounds is sketchy.
Staff at hotel. Very nice. Exemplary of Southern Hospitality. You will feel welcomed when you meet the team members there. If visiting Graceland, definitely stay here!

Beds were pretty good and the breakfast wasn’t bad. The room, however, smelled horrible and the humidity was uncomfortable. The mildew smell never left and the sheets stayed wet.

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and appreciate its location relative to the area's main attraction, Graceland. It is a great place to stay for the Budget minded Traveler. Staff is generally polite and friendly and do their best to be helpful. Miss Duffie in particular is amazing! The shuttle service is greatly appreciated, especially due to the relatively dangerous travel between the hotel and Graceland. Breakfast is free and the dining area is a great place to meet with other guests. Rooms are relatively well kept; however, they are beginning to show small signs of neglect. The guitar shaped pool is clean and inviting, and the secure parking lot behind the hotel is welcome.

Nice room, close to Graceland with free and frequent shuttle. Was told not to walk alone in the neighborhood so I walked only in the daytime. Close to a very good pizza place.

The bed was OK. Hotel was OK. Staff were nice. Bathroom was not well kept.

We reserved two rooms. First, the room key didn’t work for one of the rooms. When we finally got a new key, the room smelt like weed. There was trash under the bed. There was hair all over the bathroom. There was rust on the trim of the door. There were several puke stains on the carpet in the hallway. When we were in the room for around 10 minutes, they gave a stranger a key to our room. They were able to just walk into our room while we were in there. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever been to.
