For the price per night we expected much more. Small cramped room, old dingy/stained linens (sheets & pillowcases), dirty carpet complete with a huge spider (see pic)!! Bathroom shower had black hairs (long & short) all over, gross.

Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day.

I have little trouble for self check in because the front door was hard to open. Beside that, I have wonderful time to stay there

Property location was perfect for exploring Stirling.
Check-in was quite stressful. Couldn't park outside, lots of stairs to climb with our luggage, and we were given a door code but not a room number. Parking at Wellgreen was £4 overnight, not £2.50 as stated.
Room was sizeable with a really good view, and facilities were fine, but bed was uncomfortable.
Host was friendly and very helpful when I explained the stressful check-in, and also gave good advice on where to go in Stirling.

We found our small double to be as advertised SMALL, but cozy. Jackie and her staff were accommodating and breakfast was delicious. The location was ideal for those who like to walk around an old walled city and there were many dining options nearby

The location was incredible, walkable to everywhere you need to go. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the room was absolutely beautiful! The staff we met were very friendly and extremely helpful. We’d stay here again in a second!

Our host Jackie graciously helped us with our early breakfast requirement and we were able to get to our flight out of Edinburgh in plenty of time. Great location, but the room needs some updating. Bed creaked very loudly at any tiny movement and the shower had an unpleasant smell unfortunately.

It would be helpful to tell guests in advance that they will have to find parking on the street which is very limited and there is a charge for parking so they have the correct coins to do so.Also lots of stairs to climb to get to your room.

Early on arrival we made a call and Jackie arrived within minutes. Property is clean and tidy and the breakfast which was supplied gave an excellent choice. Property is in an ideal situation for all town centre amenities and on the whole in a quiet area of the town. We arrived in Stirling by train from Glasgow and had an easy ten minute walk from the Railway Station though I would imagine parking would be a problem. The one draw back was the size of the room which was listed as a double with an ensuite and garden view and in truth is a single with a double bed in it. This meant that it was impossible to exit the bed on one side without climbing over the other occupant! I acknowledge some fault in the room selection as the size in sq. ft. is given in the room description but this I missed. This room is also situated by the main entrance door so we were disturbed by other occupants returning late though this is hardly the fault of the property or it's owners as there are requests for residents to consider others. All in all a great City to visit and enhanced by a great day out at the final day of the Solheim Cup at Gleneagles, if you're European of course (and at this point we still were!)

My room was on the entrance floor and very quiet. I loved the bed and pillows, very confortable! There was a little space between the bed and the bathroom wall but this wasn't an inconvenience as it was just a very small part in the way to the window.
The breakfast is very generous and delicious, having a lot of options, including the Scottish Breakfast.
Jackie, one of the hosts, is extremely nice, she was very considerate in asking my food options and/or allergies and explained what to visit and do aside from visiting the castle. I really appreciated she told me about the meaning of my arrival on 11th September, thanks to her I was lucky to watch the Scottish Red Hot Chili Pipers right below the Wallace Monument!
Thank you, Jackie I truly enjoyed my stay in Stirling and in your B&B :)

Great location near the castle and town. Pub right next door. Private bath across hallway was a bit inconvenient but very spacious. Parking inconvenient.

Property is in the heart of Sterling, easy to walk anywhere. Historical interesting building.
Up 3 flights of stairs, impossible for me to carry luggage. Someone helped at check in but no one to help at check out. Rude and totally unhelpful woman owner. Would not stay there again

It wad a full flight of stairs just to get to the property. Then we were on the top floor so we had to climb two more steep flights.

Location is great and the breakfast was delicious. Only downside is parking in the area. We were fortunate that someone was leaving a paid parking space as we were looking for a space. We made sure to check-out in the morning before we would be required to pay again for parking.

Stay was enjoyable. Staff very attentive. Unfortunately there was a mix up with my checkout day and I ended up checking out late. Waitress was very helpful in finding a different place for 1 night. However I just got a surprise charge for L30 on my credit card.

Friendly and a great location. If one does not do stairs , then this is not good. Great location for restaurants. Good wifi. Not all rooms are on suite but you get a privatre bathroom. Good breakfast. Hotrel is right on the castle wall. There is no private parking but hotel owner was very helpful in finding us a parking space and parked his car there until we could park. It just was a short distance. You need to pay to park. He also told us about a parking garage. Check in time is 4:00. We were early and no one was there but we had a phone # and we called and someone came to let us in and helped us to find a parking place. The only thing not listed was the correct gps directions which should list 4 Back Walk. We had to call to get this information. With this information it took us directly there.

Excellent service, breakfast, beds, location. Lots of info about surrounding areas. This B&B is not recommended for people with mobility challenges. Theres a long flight of stairs to the front door and another one up to the breakfast room.

This B&B has only been open for about a year and they are doing a great job with trying to do it right! They are very friendly and helpful. The nice little touches around the B&B to make you feel comfortable show they put in thought and care for your stay.

Check in was a breeze, but there are a LOT of stairs! When they found out we would be gone before breakfast, they told us they'd have a take-away breakfast ready for us in the morning. Walking distance to some good restaurants and pubs, but when we returned the door key would not open our door! The proprietors were very quick to come and remedy the situation though, and got us a key that worked. The coffee the next morning was fantastic!

We felt right at home — the staff are so helpful and friendly. Nice, hearty breakfast. Really good location.
