It brought back happy memories when we have previous stayed before
Not offered a cooked breakfast which was included when we stayed before with the continental breakfast option.. disappointing when u pay for a breakfast and only offered the continental one ..
3.6
location is very good for all attractions
breakfast service was very poor for the room rate .. poor buffet ..understaffed dining room
complained by email directly to hotel on my return but no response.

Staff were pleasant. Location excellent. Ability to leave bags for a while was appreciated.
Tired decor. Cracked tiles in bathroom , unclean carpets, untidy- things hanging about below stairwell. Breakfast was really poor. Buffet area was badly set up and all products cheapest quality . Fresh fruit was tired, the area was not especially clean and hot food and coffee just terrible. It felt like a really poor motorway service station in 1980's.

The property was good and close to the town centre
There was no evening meals available and the breakfast was awful… I also didn’t get the room I paid for which was disappointing too
3.6
There was a full size bathtub and the bed was comfortable.
Having to pay 15.30 pounds for one night to park just behind the hotel when on Booking.com it said there was on site parking available. Only after booking the room, did I get an email saying there was limited parking and we would have to pay for parking.

Sowas ekliges. Schade die Bewertung wäre wohl deutlich besser ausgefallen.

La ubicación
La ducha poco funcional. El techo se caía. El radiador de las toallas estaba ardiendo. No había agua fría. La cama está mal hecha. Las ventanas no se podían abrir bien. La TV no funcionaba. Teníamos una ventana sin cortina. Y desde que sale el sol con la claridad ya no se podía dormir.

Lovely facilities and very clean . Staff were great

Lack of staff in breakfast room
And no dinning

The location is very good for city centre everything within walking distance
The “ungraded” room was dark only one side table lamp , the carpet was very worn , the bed lumpy and abit of dust about

Weekend of extreme weather. Roads had been closed through roadworks. I called the Hotel and they spent 10 to 15 minutes on the phone to guide me and my family through the road system around Stirling.
The staff were very good.
Even though the radiator wasn't working properly in the bathroom It never overshadowed our stay. The bathroom was space was large. The bath itself was very large which makes a change from some other Hotels we have stayed at. Room lighting was a little poor in the room.
3.6
Was lucky enough to get one of the room that was like a little offshoot from main building which offered duel views of the garden. Was so quiet.
3.6
we expected the room to be a little nicer consider the beautiful exterior of the hotel. It was ok not the best but not the worst.
Room was dated
3.6
the bedrooms are nice and clean. has a luxurious feel to the rooms and reception.
breakfast was awful- the milk was sour. we complained and the staff agreed and changed the milk. the hot food in the main, was not cooked to order but had been cooked some time before order and was hard (bacon, potato scones, sausage) like cardboard. coffee was undrinkable as it was so strong and stewed.
3.6
Large room, king size bed , nice view, great shower, modern and up to date premises

LOCATION WAS PERFECT SUCH A LOVELY CITY
I went with my family to this very nice looking hotel.
My two girls had to sleep on two very uncomfortable fold up metal beds, one of them was broken!
On check in I didn't notice, the broken one.
I complained, but as it was time for bed, we decided not to ask to move.
In the end I had to sleep on the broken one, In the morning, I woke with a very sore back...
Never again!

Nice friendly staff. I like the bar area.
The breakfast is always good.
Very Comfortable bed.
The rooms are starting to look a little tired.
Carpet was worn through in my room

We stayed here on our wedding night, and the staff arranged to have a congratulations dessert in the room, which was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our stay here.
The shower was too hot. I felt like a boiled chicken, and the cold tap was fixed, so no way to make it cooler.

The staff were extremely helpful anytime you need to discuss anything with them. Our meal in the restaurant on Saturday evening was delicious, best we’ve had for a while.
Could do with a little more room.
3.6
Great city centre location, excellent breakfast.
Standard King size room slightly on the small size (huge bathroom though)

Very friendly staff, very good breakfast, really good beds. Felt right at home. Very nicely located!
The bath wouldn't empty, the doorcards didn't work at times, the blinds wouldn't all work.

Breakfast was of good quality, but no square sausage…
Can’t fault the staff, however the hotel is a little tired around the edges.

Shower was Great, and staff were nice.
Every single other thing was terrible. The room was dirty as the floor had not been hoovered. The inside of the drawers and wardrobe were dusty. The toilet flush button was broken and there were holes in the wall. Had to keep windows closed as it was too noisy with chimneys and air conditioning unit outside the window. The room was supposed to be an accessible room but the bed was only accessible on one side as there was only 16inches between the bed and a desk on the other side. This meant that the desk could not be used as there was no way of getting a chair under it. The bedding had blood and oil stains. A curtain also had oil stains and there was blood on the toilet seat. There was no bottled drinking water available in the room and we had to ask for this. We asked for the room to be serviced and it was hoovered but the Hoover cannot be working as the same hairs were still on the floor as were there when we arrived. Please get a new hoover as we seen the state of the Henry hoover that the housekeeping staff were using, and it was held together with parcel tape! The food was awful the menus were bits of paper which were often covered with sauce or stained with something. I was served oatcakes with my dessert instead of shortbread! When this was rectified, the shortbread had been browned! So just tasted burnt! The Poatched Peach Posset had been tainted by something it was in the fridge with. The sticky toffee pudding was really dry. Breakfast was not much better. The bacon was only cooked on one side and the scrambled eggs were very overcooked. The buffet was a joke. This is supposed to be a 4 star Hotel but I would struggle to give it 2.
3.6
The location.
The staff were very approachable and helpful.
The room was uninspiring and basic. A 3* room in a 5* hotel.
We like to have a hot drink when we wake in the morning and before bed but the complimentary drinks were poorly maintained. We had to request further clean cups for the day and there was no milk provided unless we asked for it at reception.
When you flushed the toilet in the bathroom the water frequently continued to run and you had to flush again to stop it.
The bathroom sink was extremely slow in draining away.
There was limited information readily available regarding local services and attractions. When we asked if there was a bus service that we could take to the castle no one knew if where/when or even if it was possible
3.6
Comfortable bed, nice lounge area. Staff really nice
Paid for upgrade. Picture of the room on website wasn't what we were given. No milk in room, plug in bathroom sink not working. Bacon at breakfast was well overcooked

Didnt try the food as the nenu wasnt for us
Better menu would stop people eating out

The property is ideally located near the centre of Stirling.
Totally lacking in atmosphere,we were advised to book a table for our evening meal,on reflection didn’t need to bother as we were the only two diners!

Great looking old hotel, with a nice reception area and bar. Massive bathroom with a big bath. Comfortable bed. Good tea and coffee selection in the room, good sized tv and strong wifi. Excellent value for money and a really quick walk into town.
Bed was on a little platform which was a trip hazard, especially since the room lights were pretty dim. Bathroom sink had a crack in it. Bath taps were not easy to turn, and water temperature was not very hot for a bath.
3.6
Lovely friendly staff . Helpful and respectful at all times . Really good breakfast service was excellent
