Amazing experience at the Solaria B&B The hosts are absolutely lovely and the hotel is away from all the cities' chaos. Very quiet beautiful view, access to pool and spa. Our favorite stay in our honeymoon to Italy. The hotel is quite far away from the city (20-30 minute drive) and there is not a large amount of buses available (one at 11h30 am), so longer stays or those without cars may find it difficult to move around.

Believe the reviews! This place was awesome. The host were the sweetest and so helpful. We didn’t have a car and as the listing says, it’s a little ways from the city center, they helped us with the bus (which was easy) and even a personal driver to pick us up. Great breakfast, great room, amazing service.

We were looked after like royalty here ! Angela is just the most incredible lady - worth the trip just to meet her and sample her cakes. There can’t be a better lemon drizzle cake on the planet ! Be prepared to put on a pound or two !!

This was tucked away from the crowds and traffic, very peaceful. They treated us like family, the sweetest owners, ensuring everything about our stay was top notch. The breakfasts were phenomenal and we will definitely return.

We have just left our lovely stay at the Solaria. Emilio and Angela are the perfect hosts, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome, give you advice if you require it on where to visit. The breakfast’s are fresh and home cooked by Angela which is absolutely lovely and her lemon cake is the best cake I have ever had and will miss it each morning! I can’t rate this property enough for its relaxing atmosphere, beautiful views, welcoming hosts and would definitely like to go back in the future! Thank you

Beautiful, peaceful and serene property and breakfast was amazing . It is away from the loudness and liveliness of the Amalfi coast and offers tranquility. With that said nothing is really within walking distance. You will definitely need a Vespa/ scooter to get to places. The owner is great at coordinating for you! He linked us with a scooter rental service which was great, they even dropped off the Vespa at the property!

Our stay at Solaria was absolutely wonderful! The location, though not central, was great for quiet relaxation, and amazing sea and mountain views, whilst remaining reasonably accessible to the coast by public transport. A special mention must be made of Angela and Emilio - they are beautiful souls and their warmth made our stay extra-memorable. Oh, and the breakfast!

Emilio was an amazing host, he was always helpful and giving options on how we could get around, and where we could eat in the area. He has a very friendly manner, and his wife provided a very excellent breakfast with many options to choose from. I am very satisfied with my stay at Solaria.

First of all i want to say that staying at solara felt like home. We were literally treated like family. I will definitely come back. The food was sooo good every morning we would go out the room and find everything ready by angela and antonella by 730 am sharp. Everything was fresh and so delicious. Angela would make different cakes and pastries every day with such love and kindness. Let me not forget about the view of the hotel its breathtaking. Emilio was also very helpful with restaurant recommendations and places to visit around the area. Also its very easy to communicate because they speak various languages. Dont even think twice to book a room here. Ohhh and on top of everything emilio helped us with a parking ticket. Dont even think about any other room in amalfi. Thank you for the beautiful experience.

The nicest Italian people you will find in all Italy!!! Services were amazing, breakfast was incredible and delicious. Would definitely stay here again. Room service was amazing we left and came back to our room being tidied up, clothes folded, items organized. Look no further than here!

Emilio and Angelica are the perfect hosts. So welcoming, friendly, fun and helpful. They want you to be comfortable and to enjoy their home. The breakfast is delicious, Angelica bakes fresh cakes everyday - they are amazing. The property is a little remote - but they tell you this - and the price is reflective of this. For us it was the great base to explore the Amalfi coast, we had a car so did not feel stranded there. Pool area is very nice, perfect for a few hours of relaxing after a busy day hiking or sightseeing. We stayed 4 nights, just note that their plug sockets are not the standard Italian 2 pin - not sure why - so this was a bit challenging, and we had cold water a couple of mornings. Despite that their hospitality made you overlook these things

I had the most incredible experience staying at Solaria. Amazing homemade breakfast, kindest hosts, and a beautiful location/amenities. They helped us arrange rides to and from the port and gave extremely helpful advice for our trip. When we left, it felt as if we were family! 10/10 stars, we recommend Solaria to everyone!

I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Especially if would would like to spend the mornings and nights away from the hustle and bustle of the port and super busy tourist areas. The hosts are incredible and helpful. Breakfasts are amazing.

It’s a heavenly tranquil place tucked in the mountain 10 minutes from very busy and touristy Amalfi. The host Emilio and hostess Angela put their hearts into the B&B, and treated their clients like family members. On the beautiful property they thoughtfully created many little tastefully decorated corners for private use or social gathering. The breakfast was no doubt the highlight. Angela set the bar very high for any B&B to match! Her homemade cakes were to die for. Sitting on the deck overlooking Mediterranean Sea while enjoying the sumptuous breakfast and chatting with the gracious and knowledgeable hosting couple was a very enjoyable experience that my husband and I appreciate very much! Kudos to Emilio and Angela for their efforts to create such paradise for the travelers to enjoy. We look forward to going back…

Best place to rest and relax on the busy Amalfi Coast. Emilio and Angela hosted us in their wonderful B&B and treated us like family. Most wonderful people I’ve ever stayed with. They helped us navigate the area, made an amazing fresh daily breakfast (more like a brunch) and even helped when the weather took a turn and I was without a coat. This was also the best rest we’ve ever had on a vacation as well. Super quiet up in the hills of Amalfi and set apart from the noise of the downtown, yet it still has its own uptown community to explore if you’re adventurous. We also were able to enjoy their hot tub after the Path of the Gods hike. Wonderful experience.

The little property is gorgeous. However contributed to the charm of the stay was the love and sincerity of the host and hostess. They were simply the kindest and warmest persons we have met on this trip. It was hardly a biz transaction but a friendly encounter. We woke up to big smiles and a big breakfaat prepared by the hostess. She took care of every details wigh much sincerity and love. She went extra miles to send us to the restuarant, saving us some bucks. I highly recommend this place

My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Solaria! Emilio and Angela were the best hosts we could have asked for and made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable, fed us a gorgeous breakfast every morning and helped us to navigate the confusing bus system. They also gave great restaurant suggestions in San Lazzaro which is just a 15 min walk up some (very steep) steps. Everything was clean and perfect!

The owners were so helpful with every aspect of our stay. They told us the best ways to get around town. My wife has allergies they made sure the breakfast was food she could eat. They’re all around good people. This property is a little out of the way it takes about 25 min drive from the Amalfi square or an hour bus ride. But beautiful views while ur there.

Emilio & Angela were the best hosts EVER! Highly recommend 10/10, if I could give a higher rating I would. It is important to do your research before booking because this spot is about a 15-20 minute drive to amalfi and is out of the tourist area. Each morning Angela and her assistant made a homemade breakfast from their garden and was great, they really made us feel like family. It was my wife and I’s honeymoon and couldn’t be any more happy with our visit. It is very quiet and peaceful with great views. Agerola is about a 15 minute walk right up the stairs and have great restaurants. Do recommend renting a scooter to get around as the bus is not reliable and taxi is expensive. Overall great stay at solaria and you will not be disappointed

Solaria is home in Amalfi Coast. Nice & Cozy B&B. Very comfortable room with Amazing views. Emilio, Angela, Domenico, & Antonella make you feel so special with great support, effective suggestions an recommendations for visiting main landmarks. Food was absolutely delicious; a colorful display of best of Italy in every dish. We look forward to returning to Solaria soon.

You have no idea how beautiful the place is and how incredible and attentioned the hosts are. You'll fall in love with them, we were a couple looking for a nice relax time to work and enjoy the vue and we were so happy. The hosts are "above and beyond" what you could ever expect. Highly highly recommend. Super nice and close to amazing restaurantd, town of amalfi and more. Believe me, worth it

The hosts are wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts are amazing! Bed and pillows super comfortable. It is about 20 minutes from Amalfi, even though only about 2 miles away. The only thing that bothered me was the 'housekeeping'... Our stuff was completely gone through. We put our laundry on the bottom of the wardrobe to come back and find it hung up, except our underwear. I put my suitcase next to my side of the bed and it was moved. My toothbrush was moved to a cup by the sink, which I really don't like it being touched. Our vitamins/supplements were moved each day. Chargers onto of my briefcase moved.... I'm sure they were trying to be helpful, nothing was taken, I just like my things to be gone through by anyone.

This hotel is run by a lovely old couple. The owner will kindly guide you about transportation in English. The lady makes delicious cakes every morning. You have to take a few buses to get here (tovere) from Amalfi, but you can enjoy the hospitality that goes beyond the trouble of getting there.

Beautiful property. We had a room with a view and balcony. Nice and comfortable bed Beautiful, cooked breakfast with fresh ingredients like farmed eggs, fresh tomatoes , mozzarella and fruit. Beautifully serves coffee and tea. Little hard to get to as it’s on the hill but there is free parking if you are traveling by car. Better to arrive before sun set. Nice restaurant close by 10 min by car. There is no pool as described but a hot tub, however didn’t get to use it.

We had so many issues arriving to the hotel (ferries being cancelled, difficulty with finding a cab) and our hosts were so accommodating and helpful. This high-level of hospitality lasted throughout our stay which only helped to accentuate the coziness and beauty of Solaria, we stayed for 3 magical nights and regret not having booked for longer! And if that isn’t the best looking cappuccino which I ordered each morning as part of the breakfast !
