Apartment clean and comfortable. In a good position near restaurant, shops ect. Lift was great.
Code to get in worked when finally found Halifax House.
No signage to say Halifax House and no number, given , only name of road.
Several people had same problem while we were there .
Wifi never worked and we really needed it to arrange new travel plans after an accident!

No wifi all weekend.
Fan on bathroom not working.
Uncomfortable mattress.
Very small bathroom.
Overall clean and reasonably comfortable.

I loved just about everything about it.
Coukldn't work out if window was able to be opened so did get a bit stuffy the day I forgot to pull blind down (that may have been me)
Oh and perhaps a word about the lower part of Blackwall being closed? but all round excellent

The host was fantastic had brilliant communication, the property was clean and stocked full of items which made our stay so easy ,we was on the second floor but there was a lift so easy access,I would just be mindful of others living in some of the flats as they can be slightly noisy over the weekend but other then that it wasn't a bad stay for the price I paid

An absolutely beautiful facility. Very comfortable.

All started well with good communication from Shane (management agent). He even allowed us an early check in. When we got into the property it was incredibly hot and no matter what we did it wouldn't get any cooler. The thermostat was broken so we Contacted Shane and they offered to send someone but this would be at 11pm and with a young family this wasn't appropriate. So we ended up wrapping a duvet around the radiator to block the heat. Lucky we had the kids in the rear bedroom which was cooler.
We had also brought their duvets to make it easier for them to sleep so meant we had one spare for us to do this. The blinds didnt block out any light in the bedroom so had to make shift a curtain using a throw.
Bathroom floor tiles were loose, toilet was wobbly also the radiator in the bathroom was also on full so added to the stifling heat.
Sofa bed incredibly uncomfortable had to be moved each night as no room to extend this out it had to be moved so it didnt block the bedroom.
Next morning contacted Shane to say we were going to eureka and if someone could fix it that would be great . He said he raised it and someone would be out. This didn't happen came back to another roasting room even though we had the windows open all day. Made it unbareable so spent our time out of the room but a nightmare to sleep. Tried to contact shane multiple times and heard nothing back at all.
One of the worst stays I've had. It is not suitable for a family and would not stay here again.

Absolute dump, nothing like the pictures. Old, tired and unclean. We had to leave after a day and go somewhere else.

Pictures very misleading, advertised as double bed & 2 singles pushed together.
Blinds in bedroom part dropping to bits, toilet not screwed to floor, shower head fell off every time used general condition of hole apartment tired & not clean.
Communal area run down & very noisy.
A big disappointment.

Nice apartment, well equipped in a good location.

Fantastic stay! Will most definitely be staying again. Thank you!

It had all the essentials, small and cosy with pleny of towels and linen. The onely issue was no toilet paper on arrival
4.1
Clean and tidy, comfy bed and all basic kitchen items provided, including washing machine which is great for longer stays. Plenty of parking nearby. Check in easy and good communication from owner. Bathroom could perhaps do with a little TLC (wobbly floor tiles) and communal corridors, although clean and tidy, are a little soul less. Overall a good place to stay for a few nights if you need to be near the centre of town.

Comfortable apartment. Nice facilities . Easy to walk to train station and main shops . Good communication with property manager . Would go back there when I return to Halifax .

While the interior of the apartment was fine, the externals (inside of the building, until you get to the door of the apartment) felt like they could use some love. Due to the lovely weather it was uncomfortably warm in the apartment (even though we had the windows fully open while we were there), and the vertical blinds didn’t do a great job of shielding you from the sun.
With that said, it was fine for a couple of nights stay.

I was staying in Halifax for 10 nights and wanted to stay in an apartment so I could cook etc. rather than a hotel. This place was perfect. Great location in the middle of town, short walk to all the main shopping areas and train station.
The apartment itself was lovely and just right. Very well presented, a nice kitchen/dining/living room, bathroom with shower and bedroom. Really comfortable with everything I needed. The kitchen had a fridge, freezer, cooker, hob and microwave, all cutlery I needed a washing machine. It was very clean and I had lots of bedding and towels to last.
Check in was easy (contactless you are sent codes to access the building and flat). I had good communication from Shane who was my contact point and found them to be really helpful when required.
I had a great stay and would definitely stay again when visiting Halifax. I was very impressed.

In general the accommodation was okay. The main let-down was the condition of the kitchen, which was not thoroughly cleaned and food debris left on the worktops. Also the corridors were a little worse for wear with a very strong smell of cigarette smoke.

Great location, a short walk from the town centre. Secure building with paid parking not far from the building. Great comms with the owner beforehand.

Fantastic comms with Shane from the moment of booking even though it was New Years Eve evening. Couldn’t have been more helpful
I tried to book again for New Year’s Day but unfortunately they were sold out.
Will definitely be staying again, highly recommend!

Thought it was too small for 4 people . Very narrow room and when bed settee was pulled out no room to pass.

The sink drain pipe was leaking, did not realise until we opened the cupboard ans saw water ovefrflowed from a plate under the pipe. THere was TV reception during the weekend we were there, hence was not very happy with that situation

Stayed for one night while in the area for a wedding. Really great little apartment. I probably wouldnt stay here if I was planning to spend much time in the apartment, as theres not much space for spreading out. As a place to sleep and get breakfast though it was brilliant. Comfy, clean and well featured. Nicely located as well.
