Very sloppy place -- very rundown and not recognizable as a Hilton -- with remarkably careless and "couldn't care less" staff of which there are too many -- even though most are just standing around idle, making excuses/pleading helplessness and doing very little to be of service to the guests. Extremely loud outdoor concerts every night from 7:00 to 11:00pm such that you can not escape the noise and your room practically shakes... Lousy food, poor presentation, and inconvenient hours if you want to eat anything but hot dogs and French fries during the hours that management deemed ALL the restaurants should open...and since there's effectively NO Room Service and no shop onsite, you're stuck eating hotdogs and fries between the opening times of their restaurants. If you're looking for a rundown place with bad furnishings and poor, dim lighting that budget-conscious families who let their kids run around screaming, in between the ridiculously loud entertainment, you'll be fine.

The service was worse than awful. Before making the reservation, I read plenty of comments complaining about the service. I thought, "Perhaps these bad reviews are the result of isolated situations," but unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. The entire personnel, not just one or two people, had this very bad attitude, long face, and total unwillingness. They even neither said hello nor goodbye, the essentials.
This will be my first and last stay at this hotel. And by the way, dear hotel staff: don't bother writing back with apologies, etc. when it's clear you don't care about your guests and providing acceptable (not even fair) service standards.

No bourbon at the ALL Inclusive bar. Limited selections of food. Staff does not understand English.

We stayed 5 nights at Mangroves Corendon. Parking is free onsite - you have a front lot with about 10 spots (we lucked into a spot here a few times) and a larger parking garage that you share with the sister resort. There is a gate to get in and out which is nice so you feel safe. The resort was beautiful - our room had a comfy king bed and was very clean… we had a great corner room with a view of the water and resort. We sat on the balcony most nights to watch and see the performers at night. The food and drinks were good, and really enjoyed how fast and friendly the service was. Dushi sushi- the sushi menu is very limited but was pretty good. Nothing spectacular but was nice to not eat the buffet. Ristorante Siciliano- we were a little disappointed that they were out of quite a few items on the menu which limited us to a few options overall. I’d check with them before you commit as we left and went to the buffet to get seconds. The buffet has lots to offer and was really quite good (I’m a fairly picky eater), I really loved getting a fresh made omelette in the mornings and even the pasta station at night. Seafood tavern was closed the whole time we were there which was a bummer.. & we didn’t eat at the BBQ place either. Lots of great places for pictures & you can use your wristband to wander to the sister resort next door which had a very nice upscale outdoor bar that we really liked. Slides were fun!! The resort was very close to Punda & would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful and there was a unique culture. All of the staff members spoke multiple languages and they were kind to us guests. I have seen some reviews where people complain about the wait time for getting drinks and it can feel extended but it would be the same at any bar with several patrons. Jahwi was the best! He was engaging with the guests and kept the mood upbeat during the entertainment nights, plus he was a really good listener and friend to all guest. I will add this review to google as well. Could not recommend this hidden gem more.

The property could use se work, food options were available, however it was the same things everyday with the exception of a few rotations,it would be nice to include cultural/ local cusine as a dining option. I was stuck in my room because the lock would not open, noone answers when you hit 9 for the reception from the phone in your room. I saw rat on two different occasions at the main restaurant. My blinds would not close all the way and TBH i didn't even call anyone. I feel these are things that a guest shouldn't have to complain about just make sure minor things like that are working. I wouldn't stay here again.

The resort was clean and very safe to walk at night. We had no problem making reservations with the app that you can download upon arrival Many people say the beach is rocky which it is on one end the other end is perfect so water shoes can be recommended but not necessary. They don’t offer much of a nightlife, There is a centerstage where they do have entertainment and karaoke, but that’s it. Food was good what I said exceptional no, but it was definitely good and you will not go hungry.

Beautiful relaxing vibe, rats on the property at night that are huge l, noisy construction and they ran out of washcloth and hand towels and did not replenish them for 4 days

The location of the resort is convenient and beautiful. The downfall is this is consider an all inclusive and it takes Way to long to receive a drink whether you’re at the bar or pool bar. Even with giving staff tips, they aren’t eager. The rooms were nice and clean but the food area and bar staff was not. They would touch their face, nose and money with the same gloves they use to prepare drinks or food.. and then to touch the top of your straw you’d put your mouth on. We’ve been to multiple resorts and the energy just isnt there. Entertainment was poor as well.

Everything was good except the birds around the food. Birds carry diseases and it’s just very unsanitary. I had to duck as I ate bcuz birds are flying right towards my head. Very uncomfortable dining experience.

The Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort by Hilton was a wonderful experience due to the fact that the foods were delicious at the Italian restaurant, Sushi restaurant, and at the Breeze which is the La carte restaurant. There were a variety of selections at the Breeze. As far as the room, it was nice but the partial view of the ocean was blocked by the palm trees. That was my only complaint. I had a great time. The hotel is very close to downtown area either by foot or the short bus which will cost you $2 or 2.50 their currency. Taxi is too expensive.

The hotel was very nice. We ate at the main restaurant for our stay and didn't bother with reservations. The food was very good. Only downside is the pigeons. They are all over if you don't get in there early. The beach was really rocky on one side. I would advise swim shoes. A little noisy if your room is near the main pool area. I would stay again though.

Great beach
Great food if you can find reservation
Limited entertainment
Short staff in all areas
If you will arrive before 4-5pm good luck to get your room.
Good luck getting your room cleaned before6-7pm with you fight for it. My pillows smelled bad, I asked for replacement, supervisor took it and never came back till the second morning when I asked for. I slept with no pillows.
Beach towel, good luck to get it, we were told, there is no more for the day. They are getting washed.
We could not find cups or plates in open buffet and you will be servicing yourself, for drinks , utensils napkins….etc as there is no one to service you.

Everything was good. We did have a small issue with the shower not draining the water fast enough and cause a little overflow and it did take them 2 days to get to it but over all it was good the food can be better and the restaurants was a little hard to book but then we found out if you book ahead with the concierge you will get the reservations other then that we had an amazing time, the staff was very helpful about events around the area and where to go so I will definitely be back thank you!

The resort was good. Confortable room, good food, nice sight. The only thing I didn’t like it was that beside the good taste good it was cold. I mean I like a least warm food
3.0 / 5.0
Our stay start off bad, we had to wait until 6.30PM to get a room, which was not cleaned.
Dinning is very bad, Many times, NO Glasses, NO Cups, NO Juice, NO drinking Water, empty FOOD trays. There is no one on the floor to make sure all these are fill to serve. Me and other had to ask the cook for more and had to wait for10 mins before these trays, juice is fill. Entertainment is just not good, most night you sit by the bar and just chat with your partner.
We were there last year and was so encouraged to go back this year, but what a disappointment, WE WILL NOT GO BACK, WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME.

I don’t recommend this place at all.

The staff was very friendly, unless you were showing up to eat…be prepared for attitude if you are 2-3 minutes early. They were late checking us in. It wasn’t until we asked for a manager that we got a room. Food…meh. After dinner activities, almost non existent. Our room was exactly as advertised in the pictures. But it stunk like mildew. I would visit curaçao again but would pick a different resort.
2.0 / 5.0
I stay paid for the penthouse and the pool in the room was dirty there were died bugs in the penthouse pool. There wasn’t a filter or jets for the mini pool so bug were died init, there is no room service, the food was mediocre, the karaoke night was good, I booked an excursion and the lady who booked the excursion texted on what app me to say it was cancelled. I never received the text I woke up early and nothing. It was so disappointing.

As a frequent traveler & a native of Jamaica, I do have to say Mangrove hotel was very nice overall. I picked this island because I wanted privacy from over saturated tourist islands and curaçao was just that! One down side is the service; (not that they were bad) tourism at this pace is fairly new for the island so improvement will come with time especially because the effort of wanting to deliver good service was there. I will definitely be back and I do not say that often.
3.0 / 5.0
The rooms were clean, staff was friendly but food options were very limited. The sushi restaurant and the restaurant on the water seemed beautiful but unfortunately we couldn’t get a reservation. I think the restaurants were way too small to accommodate such a huge hotel. We had the buffet for lunch and dinner - very basic food.
3.0 / 5.0
As I see many have mentioned, this resort is not a 5-star property. A lot of the fixtures in my room were rusted, my pillows smelled of mildew and there were other weird smells in the room. The door to my room didn't have a security latch -- it had clearly been removed. I was told maintenance would come and install one for me and it took them 4 hours to come (it was after 10pm at night). Once they got there, they realized they couldn't install once because the door was warped and wouldn't allow for it. I'm glad that I brought a security device that I had purchased on Amazon to provide some peace of mind, as I was traveling solo. If you want peace and quiet, you won't get it here either. The entertainment at night is SO LOUD. If I wanted to go to bed before 11pm, it wasn't an option. The restaurants on the resort all require reservations. The food at the buffet is pretty bland and it can be very hard to find seating sometimes as tables aren't cleaned off fast enough after people leave. The view from my room was probably the best part of my stay but not enough to make me return.

An overall very pleasant stay.
Kids had a blast at the waterpark.
Rooms were clean,
Modern and very comfortable. Housekeeping staff was pleasant and helpful
The beach is simply breathtaking!
Julia and Allie were so accommodating and friendly!
The Harbor restaurant was awesome-
Food was delicious and the service from our server was outstanding!
However the following are the negatives:
1) most staff were not helpful and pleasant; there were a few outstanding ones but they were in the minority
2) food options were limited since it was difficult to get reservations at the speciality restaurants
3) buffet was the main available dining option but clean tables were difficult to find- the clearing/ cleaning wait staff was very limited-
This became unsightly as the leftover food/ dirty dishes encouraged lots of pigeons and flies to the dining area.
4)premium Drink options were limited; Bar service terrible.
The coffee/ juice/ water was good as there were self service options throughout the resort
2.0 / 5.0
Definitely short staff. This wasn’t the same experience I had 2021. Need better service at the buffet area. More food options especially more staff.

Great Resort. Everything we needed. Only bad was Friday night entertainment.

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I had to share our experience. Let's start with the property - I give it 4 stars for cleanliness and modernity. The rooms are furnished with a modern touch, and because of that, everything comes across as 'new.' However, for a hotel being so new (I believe opened in 2020) the room had a lot of damage to the walls, for example, and the toilet seat looked like it had endured through a tornado. Doesn't matter to me. The grounds were clean-ish and still well kept, with the exception of the kiddie area in the waterpark, where there were loose tiles (my child picked up a small piece) and some spaces where there was broken meshing that a child could easily get their foot caught in and get hurt. Additionally, it was probably the least maintained space - moderately dirty with strewn napkins and pieces of paper and trash, cigarette butts, etc. and was obviously not cleaned up at the end of each day/might because all the trash and mess was still there each day of our stay.
None of that even really matters to me, but more so, is that we have never, ever, in all of our trips, encountered such rude staff. Let me preface this by saying we are Americans and it's in our culture to tip, tip, tip. We tip for everything! Towels. Drinks. Leaving a table tip for the clean-up even thought it's an all-inclusive. It didn't matter if we tipped or not! We were met with blank stares, little to no thanks at all. No good mornings, no hello's, nothing.

Review
I booked this vacation back in February when all the reviews were pretty good. Felt it was worth the money based on the reviews. As my vacation drew closer I noticed the reviews really had plummeted and I hoped they were just random and maybe ppl just sweating the small stuff. Well they reviews were right, this place is not worth the money. 3 star at most and that’s being generous. Check in is at 4pm and my family and several others were told their rooms would be ready in 20 mins at 4, several times after we were told additional 25 mins. We ended up waiting with several other annoyed guests for over a hour and half. One of the employees told me to my face that she herself wouldn’t stay here. The rooms were clean but no trash can or tissues or toilet paper in the rooms and the outlets will shock you. The grounds and hotel need a serious deep clean and repair. Every beach chair mat is filthy covered in stains and mold. The clean towels have stains on them. There are several craters in the pool. Big areas of missing tiles. There is so much more I can say…

Ren was great at the water park bar area. Servers from main pool need to pay attention to the customers and not their phones and talking among themselves.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 5 nights for a much needed relaxing vacation.
Likes: The property is small, not too much walking require to the restaurants or beach. The beach is amazing. Beach water is clear and clean. We saw fishes and turtles, which was awesome to me (lol). They have more than enough lounge chairs and cabanas. Had no issues with the room. AC worked great. Bed was comfortable. Housekeepers were always available if you needed anything.
Dislikes: FOOD. I am not a fan of the buffet restaurant. Food lacked taste. The Italian and BBQ restaurant were good. The restaurant service was not good at all. If you needed utensils, the waiters will point to where they were and you had to get your own utensils and napkins. To my surprise, a lot of the staff were not pleasant. No good mornings or smiles. I am use to the staff being pleasant, smiling and always saying good morning, good afternoon, how's it going, etc....
At the end of the day, It's what you make out of it. And we sure made this trip a relaxing one which was what we were aiming for. Even though this is a family resort, you barely heard kids screaming or running around.
