Great place, good food and good service. Only thing is that the check in takes too long

The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon was amazing. Id like to thank the following Workers, Ella, Yannick, Timo, Muhammed, Marvi, Mary, Yulis, Rachelle, Omer, Hamed, Zheno, Miangelica, Annika. Their kindness, hospitality, and friendliness made our stay amazing and we appreciated how pleasant they made our stay! We would LOVE to return again soon and look forward to seeing them all again. What a beautiful location, exceptionally beautiful resort grounds. The beach, the views, the palm trees, the food, everything was spectacular. The rooms were always cleaned and fresh, AC worked great and the workers were always happy to help. Definitely the best all inclusive resort we have visited!

Was amazing!! Everything is exactly like a dream!!

I did a lot of research on where to stay in Curaçao. I came across this resort and after reading the reviews I went ahead and booked it. I am so happy I did! The selling point for me was the fact that we had access to both hotels. If that wasn’t an option I may not have liked it as much. The resort is truly beautiful, filled with so many places to sit and relax. I liked staying at the Rif because it is fairly quiet. The main hotel is a little more lively, so I loved that I had the option to experience both. There are several bars, and one of them is open 24/7 which I loved. When you walk into the room you are greeted with some lovely snacks and a bottle of wine. The hotel had the air conditioning on blast the entire time which is amazing because it was so hot outside. The employees were all very kind and helpful. If someone didn’t know the answer to a question they wouldn’t stop until we got one, which I truly appreciated. The pools were amazing, and there is a private beach which was another selling point. There were several food options. There is a buffet that is open during breakfast, lunch, and dinner hours. To be completely honest, the buffet was very standard. I’ve been to a hundred of buffets just like this one so I was hoping for more unique options. They do have several restaurants to eat at, you just need to make a reservation the day before. That is the only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars. All that being said, I still would highly recommend. Just book it!

The multiple food selections

Nice hotel, but still under construction.
The construction noise was disturbing, loud drilling noise every weekday.
Housekeeping services were disturbing too - trying to get into the room no matter what, even when do not disturb sign was out or in late afternoons when we wanted to have a nap they would wake us up by keeping to knock on the door until we opened.
Great selection of food.

Should have entertainment at pool area during day. Should have food options at pool n ppl coming around to take orders for food n drinks. Pools are too deep for ppl who can’t swim.

The property is upscale & looks nice. However, the food options are not the best. The only 2 options I would recommend is the buffet & bbq restaurant. I tried the Mexican restaurant & it was absolutely horrible. I booked a swim up room because it stated on their website that it’s adults only but that was not the case when I got there. Also, the beach & pools all close at 7pm which is a bit too early. Lastly, there’s currently construction going on which starts quite early in the morning & it’s loud so you can’t sleep in late.

I had a wonderful time overall. The hotel could improve on guest activities greatly. Live music & karaoke were offered but not not much else. If you like to sit and listen to music (sometimes live) and drink at night, this place is for you. The excursions or tours offered through the hotel were also limited for guests looking for more of an adventure beyond food and drink tours. The Adventure tours with the off road Jeep and ATV were the same, just different vehicles. However, I would recommend them. They both were great but you only need to do one of the two. You'd do better setting up your own adventure or excursions online with local vendors. The resort is walkable to town and shopping. It is safe but always use caution.
It is very hot & all hotel activities are outside. This means you eat & drink outside, etc. You may get a breeze or two.
There are no lifeguards on the resort so enter the lagoons and pool at your own discretion.
Reservations at the other on site restaurants were difficult. They were always booked no matter when we called.
I have to agree with prior guests in that I experienced rudeness of 2 female staff upon check out. Their lack of customer service skills reminded me of being in the States. They do not appear to enjoy their jobs and will make you feel you are bothering them just by being in line. Eventually a male employee checked me out within minutes and provided me with a cab to the airport, He was very kind and I wish I remembered his name.

We had wonderful experience staying at this property. Food was excellent so was the beach and the service.

Beautiful property, happy and helpful staff, lots of food and drink options

The resort itself is lovely but the customer service was very poor. Room cleaning servive with minimun. In my 7 nights, sheets was not changed once and the room was only cleaned one day. We had to ask for the trash to be taken out. The overall staff morale seemed low so they were not willing to assist above and beyond something you would expect from this type of hotel. The food options was alos limited, the same breakfast, lunch and dinner in the main restaurant daily.

I have never been to an all inclusive and I wouldnt again. If you go to this one and stay there the whole time you are missing out on Curaçao. The beach area is the worst I have been to on the island, I didnt bother swimming. The food was very average and the island has so many amazing restaurants. We were woken at 7:20am by rennovation works. The staff we interacted with were lovely but some of the hotel guests were just so loud and had obviously been making good use of the free bar.
All in all disappointing for a Hilton hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the RIF, it was relaxing. The staff was very helpful and polite. They were very slow on delivering anything we asked for to our room. I would recommend your property to my friends.

I stayed with my fiancé and it was the best all in clusive hotel we have ever stayed at. People were nice. Service was nice..the food options were nice especially the sushi and the buffet had a variety of options not to mention the 24 hr room service was top tier. Thank you Rif!

This was my second time at the Rif. The room was nice and comfortable. The pool was very nice as well. For an all inclusive I thought the food was very good. The bars had name brand alcohol. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again!

Service at this resort is lacking tremendously and staff is not very friendly. I have been to many all inclusive resorts and this was the worst yet. No one says good morning. At the buffet no one comes around to offer you drinks. It’s pretty much self service. Around the pool and beach there are no waiters to bring you drinks so you have to continue getting up. There is NO SWIM UP BAR. Also, they are doing construction at the hotel so you might get woken up by some drilling and saws. Beach is a man made beach. Very clean but not natural. My stay was from 8/10/24 to 8/14/24.

hotel was very nice and clean, staff is friendly

The service at this hotel is simply awful. 99% of the staff are always unfriendly and in a bad mood, with no sympathy or willingness to help. The room cleaning is unbelievably poor. They don’t even replace the used glass cups. They don’t vacuum the floor. They don’t restock the minibar, and only through restocking you can get bottled water in the room. Room service orders are either not delivered or arrive with delays. The elevators are constantly out of order. The information is incorrect, even in the app you use to place orders (e.g., a Japanese restaurant that requires a reservation, yet the app explicitly states that it doesn’t). The buffet service is just a huge, chaotic mess of people. It’s overcrowded. The beer, even in the various bars, is always warm. There’s a shortage of glasses, food takes a long time to be replenished, there’s no ice, the restaurant’s exhaust fan doesn’t work, and the place fills up with smoke. On top of everything, they even charge you to use cabanas on the beach. The positive points are: the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The private beach is pleasant. The water park is also nice for kids. And the food, despite all the chaos, is good

The place overall was not bad, but it started off on the wrong foot because the fire alarms kept going off the first two nights at 4 o’clock in the morning multiple times so it was very disturbing. On the second day, the power went out for a few hours. And they were doing construction the whole time we were there so we were woken up at 7:30 AM every day by banging and drilling so we didn’t sleep well any of the nights. However, the pool area was pretty quiet. We enjoyed the massages we received on the beach and the food was OK so overall, I would give it three stars due to the ruction disturbance of the fire alarms. Also, the staff is not that friendly here they barely talk to you unless you engage with them first

It was clean, friendly staff, plenty of food options at the buffet, quiet, walking distance to the town and shopping area.

Very pretty. Felt safe. Staff were nice. But the construction noise paired with the fire alarm waking me up at 4 & 6 am on multiple days was very annoying
2.0
The second phase has floors 0-4, the entire 4th floor is not completed and currently under construction from 8am-5pm M-F ( jack hammers, drills etc)
There is no sound barrier between the rooms you can hear everything next door both sides and all the way down the hall
I wasn’t made away of the construction when booking ( they have at least 6 months of work to complete). I also wasn’t going to write a review but Expedia sends an email daily asking for one so I figured I must be helping someone choose there holiday spot!

The hotel is nice and i think it has potential, however the service was not good at all, in my opinion they are very understaffed.if you go to the buffet dont expect to get a mimosa or a drink with your dinner. Not silverwearplace on the tables, and most tables are dirty. The harbor and the Mexican restaurants was very good and the service there was so much better. The turkish guys by the beach bar are amazind Onur !! They really good at what they do and work really hard to provide amazing drinks and service. The food was very good.

Beautiful property, bad sewage system, bring your own alcohol because it’s watered down on the property, 3 properties in one, some of the staff are rude, hand to ask on 4 occasions for housekeeping which never came until I spoke with management. Overall I would not return

Loved this hotel!!! The views, cleanliness, and food were on point. Would love to return. It really felt magical
2.0
The staff and service could have been way better. Some lack unprofessionalism, some not so pleasant and engaging. The food was always cold. It didn’t matter how early or late you got there. They have the food in a heating tray and it’s not heated. The restraints take forever with the food. They tell you 15 minutes and it was over an hour. You are making reservations for restaraunts that’s not even worth making reservations for. In the evening I went by the beach and you see about 4 rats running around chasing each other. There are no activities through out the day. The night time activity was okay with the exception with one of the workers recording and blocking everyone’s way as the performance was going on for the entire performance. They serve the same good everyday. People would leave their plates and cups outside their room to be picked up and it would be there for days. It is like they supposedly clean but do not take any of the cups, plates or anything with them. Besides that the resort is nice that’s just about it. They are doing construction building more rooms an did not have enough staff to work. I have had way better experience at another hotel then I did here. Would I stay here again. No I would not.

Beautiful resort! Highly recommend staying on The Rif side so you have access to both resorts. Everything food related was delicious.

Check in and checkout was fast and easy. Rooms were clean. The food at the buffet could be better as well as the other restaurants. Dinner time lines are super long to enter restaurants. The staff were amazing. There was some construction going on which woke us up out our sleep. We saw a rat in the lobby.
4.0
Property is still kinda new (The Rif) so the construction is still going on and kept waking us up in the morning and the afternoon. The rooms look good, better in person. Restaurants are cool. Beach is cool. Nightly entertainment was good. The 1 quiet pool was 5ft something which was bad for my 5ft wife that can’t swim. Usually hotel resort pools are 4ft. But overall I would recommend just as long construction is done.
