Excellent location

Paid for junior suite and was the smallest room on the floor. Shower was extremely tiny and no bathtub.
4.7
Crowded location in Venice. We stayed in room 8. Directly outside the room is a second receptionist desk and while in room 8 you can hear every conversation, footstep, and phone ring. As well as the clinking of kitchenware down the hall. I’m not sure why the hotel decided this was an appropriate location for a receptionist desk (or room). The gondola tours going up and down the alley are extremely loud throughout the day. This was our first time in Venice, and as an American I’d categorize it as the Times Square of Europe, so maybe getting around the noise and mass crowds isn’t possible unless you’re paying $1k a night for a true 5 star stay. Staff was very friendly & accommodating, the place was clean, but all in all it’s true what they say.. when going to Venice, over OVER spend or keep expectations low.

Elegant hotel near the Rialto in the 15th century Palazzo Bembo. Very attentive staff, good breakfast - served to the table, because in such a small hotel a buffet would be a pure waste of food. An unexpected "bonus" is the contemporary art gallery located in the same building.

The location of the Ego hotel is unbeatable, you have the Rialto bridge just steps away. It's a great hotel and the breakfast was delicious.

This is a beautiful hotel. We stayed in the Lamborghini room. It had high ceilings, was clean, had a two windows/balcony that opened into the view of San Salvador canal. Breakfast had many options, and was presented in dining room facing the grand canal with balcony or in the room. This was amazing. The staff and service was polite, friendly, and very helpful in recommending things to do for a first time visit. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a romantic and beautiful stay in Venice.

This is an amazing property! Located right on the Grand Canal within easy walking distance to the major sites. The service is impeccable. There are only 8 rooms so you really get personalized service for whatever you need. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Very well done boutique hotel close to Rialto bridge. Centrally located on grand canal and walkable by 15 mins to most parts of Venice. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The history of the hotel, the room was stunning, the views were spectacular, the location was perfect, and the service and staff were simply the best.

This small brilliant hotel is perfectly located next to the Rialto Bridge. The rooms are cozy and the property has a lift.
Staff is helpful and there is nothing they can’t do. Breakfast is amazing. You pick from a long list of items upon check in and you can even change it during your stay. The service I’d amazing. This is the place you want to be. Btw the breakfast room overlooks the Grand Canal and is gorgeous and can be used during the day.

We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful, kind and made our stay in Venice wonderful. (Especially Esther and Simone at the front desk.) This hotel is located at the Rialto Bridge on the Grand Canal and therefore, the vaporetto, Alilaguna and water taxis stop directly in front. For those who have not visited Venice, this is a game changer and you will not have to drag your luggage over bridges and down narrow streets/walkways as is most common for accommodations in Venice. The breakfast was wonderful and the charming breakfast room overlooked the Grand Canal. It was a wonderful way to begin every day! In the afternoon, the staff provided cakes and tea or coffee when we came back for a rest. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and the bathroom was also very well equipped with a large vanity, walk-in shower and bidet style toilet. The lines were luxurious and the bed was the most comfortable of the four hotels we stayed in during our trip to Italy. We highly recommend this hotel to others looking for a convenient location in Venice with a touch of luxury.

Located in the best part of Venice, great staff and rooms

Just perfect

The breakfast was very well prepared and the timeliness of it being served was excellent. However, there was a loss of electricity in our room that required a serviceman to be called in to fix. This was very inconvenient. Also, the air conditioning did not work well. There was also an issue with the shower stall door being loose on its hinge so was not able to be opened safely. In addition, there was no elevator to reach the upper floor where our room was located but the staff did carry our luggage to our room. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

This hotel was beautiful and the room was excellent. Sometimes photos can be taken from angles which flatter a room or view. Honestly, what you see is what you get - luxury on the grand canal. We stayed in the Lucrezia suite and it was lovely to have our breakfast on the little table by the window and watch Venice come to life. I’m a light sleeper and was a little worried that the nearby actv stop would wake me- but the room has two layers of windows and is soundproof. My husband needed a gluten free breakfast and the hotel was very accommodating on this. Not an every day luxury but a well deserved treat after the few years we have had. We enjoyed walking and photography, the baroque Vivaldi concert close by, Murano, gondola trip from just outside the hotel, the da Vinci machines museum and lots of beautiful food. We are both mid fifties.
