Lovely spot to stay in within easy striking distance of Barnstaple and North Devon and the coast. Beautiful part of the country with plenty to discover
The pods are well maintained and very comfy. Fabulous large bed. Our dog loves lying out on the little balcony overlooking the balcony
Staff were all friendly & helpful. Cooked breakfast was very good with locally soiurced produce. Nice strong coffee in tap with other buffet options. Good menu available for evening meals at reasonable rates and good selection of drinks at the bar

Friendly check in and we were allowed to take our motorcycles down to the pods so that they were secure. Good food and spotlessly clean accommodation. Biker friendly site.

The most comfortable bed ever! It felt very hard but gave both of us the best night's sleep for a long time as it was easy to roll and move on. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Only snag was that the pods were at the bottom of a very steep slope which was a challenging walk for someone with restricted mobility, but we managed. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it heartily. Good value.

We stayed for two nights, paid cash on arrival for our stay. The shower was boiling so we had to use another shower for the night and next day, which wasn't good, the shower was fixed for the second day. When we arrived home after pating cash for pur stay on arrival, we were then charged again on our credit card, i contacted them and it took a while but they refunded back to the card. I am annoyed as if i was the sort of person that didnt check my accounts, i wouldn't have known until the bill came, i feel with the iasues we had there, then this it wasnt very good.

Not for us. Location not suitable for people with disability especially walking. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Need more storage or shelving in pods. Catering needs more organising. Staff helpful. Village of North Molton offers no facilities. Just needs tinkering for the able bodied.

The accommodation was lovely, beautiful views from the room (at the front of the pod).
Service was really good. All staff we saw were friendly and polite.
Food really nice and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was fabulous.
Pods are sound proof too - great if there’s any noise from other guests. 😁

We had a pleasant stay, however the design of the pods is such that the suspended floor allows sound to travel from the adjacent room, in particular movement. Fine during the day but not good during the night. We also felt that the hot water was at a dangerously high temperature, and there was no warning regarding this. Staff were very helpful. We took advantage of the continental breakfast available, but felt it could be a little more inspiring, some nice muesli, bread rolls and a better selection of fruit, an alternative to butter and plant based milk would have been appreciated.

Modern pods. Clean and comfortable en-suite room. Lovely views. Quiet. Set on steep Devon hill. Welcoming and friendly pub with good service and good pub food - dining room and beer garden. Picturesque village on edge of Exmoor.

Excellent place, lovely location and pods are first class. Food first class also and all the staff we met were extremely polite and efficient which made our stay all the more enjoyable.

A nice modern retreat, Pod's only 3 years old, the most powerful shower I have every experienced :). Situated at the rear of a local pub overlooking fields from an elevated position. Cooked breakfast in the pub, ate in the pub 3 evening, limited menu, however all produced in house to a high standard. Great place for a break

Excellent place to stay, very welcoming people and the pod accommodation was spotless. Location beautiful, quiet and peaceful.
Highly recommended!

The room was brilliant- very clean and had everything that we need.
The pods were onsite of a pub so great for food, free breakfast was included and food was great.
If you wish to go and do activities, transport will be required as it is very rural.

Booked a stay for my partner and myself just for a night and was amazing. Food was great, service was great, weather was shocking but it was to be expected. Will be coming back for a long weekend soon so we can have a bit more time and enjoy the amazing food and venture out a bit more.

Rural location away from the hustle and bustle of town and city life. Great place to stay and explore North Devon. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again when in the area.
