Great, friendly staff, convenient location, very clean and comfortable rooms. I enjoyed my stay at this Candlewood. This property is located near University of Kentucky, and while it is very close to a lot of businesses and activity, the room was quiet and the location, peaceful. I will definitely plan to stay here again. The front desk staff person who checked me in was really friendly and eager to make sure I had a good stay. Too bad every hotel can't be this good. One minor complaint I do have is that there should be at least two or three parking spaces right near the front desk entrance for people checking in. I didn't see any spaces market for that, but there were a bunch of them for "Elite Members" or some other rewards members. So to check in, we had to park a good distance away. In bad weather, it would be a bit of a hassel to bring in luggage or packages, etc. Normally, you can bring things in from a very close distance to check-in, then move the car to a regular parking space after check-in.

Loud. Everything was wonderful except we could hear other people’s conversations clearly through the wallls. Above us and outside were the loudest. This hotel is across the street from the hospital, but it had good reviews so we thought it would be better noise controlled but the walls and windows were definitely subpar. We could clearly hear traffic and it was heavy heavy traffic area! We thought it was ok with cleanliness and staff was friendly, we just wish we could have slept for more than an hour at a time

I want a refund for the trip. Stayed one night and slept on floor. Reservation for two queens. Was provided room with one bed and no roll away available. I had to change hotels after the first night. I need to speak to someone about getting a refund or credit. I’m very upset

We enjoyed our stay here. The property seems pretty new. It was really quiet while we were there and we really didn’t see any other guests. The only issue we had was that the tv remote didn’t work except to turn the tv on and off. We downloaded the remote app and used that, but for some reason the sound kept cutting in and out, and sometimes the picture as well.

I had a horrible time trying to check in. The hotel couldnt find my reservation. I was never given a confirmation number so i had to chat with an agent to get that info. It took an hour to get things figured out. Was very upsetting

We liked our stay extremely well Our room was very clean and well stocked We enjoyed having a kitchen very much Our only issue was that we had noisy folks above us 2 of our nights very very late into the early morning hours We even called down a few times to the front desk but the noise continued making it difficult to sleep One think we wished it had was a pool since it’s an extended stay facility and we would have used it on multiple occasions Overall we would recommend this establishment to our friends and family

Hotel was fresh, very clean & an amazing room. Extremely nice full kitchen, recliner, computer tabke for recliner, modern connections for electronic devices, new tv that would accept apps like personal Netflex. Bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was very nuce. Price for quality was amazing. Conveniently (12 minutes) for drive to horse farms.

This was a very clean hotel. Check in was easy, access was easy with a good location. It was about a 7 minute drive to Rupp Arena. It is a very roomy hotel room and in very good condition. The staff was very nice.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are planning to visit UK Hospital. It's less than a mile away and conveniently located close to a lot of food options.
