Hotel is perfectly located right in the heart of the downtown. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel smells amazing and they carry Apotheke Charcoal as you bath products in the room. Pillows are plush and the bed is average. Gordon Ramsey attached.

Stayed one night in Boston and booked this hotel at the last minute. Pricing was a smidge better than others in the same area. Location great for Freedom Trail / Quincy market etc. Self parking in the Dock St garage was easy and convenient and gave you 24hrs time from when you went in. Room was clean, comfortable and fashionable. Bathroom had plenty of space and nice shower with rain shower head and detachable standard head. Looked to have a nice bar/restaurant thigh we didn’t try it. Several nice lounge areas. Overall a great choice and would stay here again.

Our plans to visit Nantucket island were cancelled due to rain therefore we needed to stay an extra 3 nights at the Canopy. The hotel staff were attentive and kind, and rearranged things so that we wouldn't have to move rooms. We felt well-cared for. The outside of the hotel is sound proofed so our room was super quiet, it was great! The hotel is walking distance to many historical sites. All in all it was an excellent stay.

The address of the hotel is actually on a rear street which makes the loading/unloading it a bit confusing. Other than that it is a wonderful hotel at an excellent location.

Excellent location, right next to quincy market and little italy. All popular restaurants are within 8 min walking distance. The hotel is new so everything is new and clean. Love the wooden floor. Love the option of self parking.

Will only stay here from now on. Steps from Quincy market and Faneuil hall. Steps from the north end. Steps from the harbor: absolutely cannot beat this location. Rooms are awesome, clean. Shower is perfect. Designs and wallpaper give a colonial feel. Again, I will only stay here when I visit: thank you!

This was a great property for a night away to hang out in the north end and Faneuil hall area. It was perfect location so much walkability. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Parking was off site at a garage right down the way. Would’ve been nice to know that in advance but it ended up fine. We did not have time to try out the restaurant.

Staff was really nice and accommodating. Our room was beautiful. We had a chaise lounge next to a window and it felt really luxurious. It overlook the city and we were overall happy. The toiletries were nice. The room was clean, the view was great and they were very accommodating.

Don’t stay here. Spend the extra few dollars and go to The Dagny up the street. Hotel is dated, only one set of towels in the room, AC never got below 80. Staff was rude and couldn’t be bothered to even make eye contact, just give me my room key. I didn’t feel like switching hotels despite the red flags. I had a death in the family and had to leave a day early. They offered me neither condolences or a refund. Spend your money at a better business.

This property is excellent. Its aesthetic is quite updated and appealing. The staff was very helpful and patient, even as I observed the front desk handling a somewhat irrational guest. The rooms are clean and conveniently arranged. The on-site restaurant is tasty and their staff helpful and speedy. Blueberry pancakes....yum. Things to note: the address of the hotel on my GPS took me to the back of the hotel, not the front. And the back doesn't look like there's a hotel even there. So we ended up going around the block a few times. Second, the hotel security is a little inconvenient, in that each key only gets you to your room. If you have multiple rooms in your party and they are on multiple floors, you can't go to each other's rooms. I don't know if it's all of Boston or just this area, but if you need a rideshare, that driver will be there in about 2 minutes. The market is half a block away, which is awesome, especially in the summer when we went, as there was always musicians and singers playing which was very fun. There are a ton of restaurants nearby. If you're a runner or walker, get out there! Ran near the water, through the city, it was a great morning experience. Would absolutely stay here again, without question.

We had a nice stay overall. Anna, our bartender/server was outstanding. The people at check in and check out were very nice. What I didn’t appreciate is the valet service. The valet workers were very polite and professional. However, the hotel shouldn’t be charging over $60 for the service, that’s very high. Also, when I pulled up to the front, I saw a sign for valet but no instruction for general parking, which later I found out there was a public lot somewhere behind the hotel. I didn’t know the cost of the valet service until I was done checking in and asked how much. I didn’t appreciate that expense information wasn’t upfront.

The hotel was in a convenient spot but service was spotty. There was usually a wait at the desk for service. Called for a tea kettle, which the directions stated, and I was told that don't have any and hung up. The safe was broken although that was repaired right away. The restaurant was lacking proper staffing as it took 45 minutes for a bagel and croissant.

Hotels.com falsely listed the suite as having a tub which no suites in this hotel have a tub at all. Also I paid for a breakfast buffet which does not exist at this property. This was quite disappointing!

We love the convenience and cleanliness of this property as well as its close proximity to our favorite restaurants, Union Oyster House and Bell in Hand. Valet and check in was smooth and efficient. The balcony rooms are worth the extra cost!
